I will start this review off with this statement:
If you don't already have a copy and can find it in decent shape for less than $20, BUY IT!!! If you can find it at a decent price at all, BUY IT!!
I have owned this book since 1994. Final Fantasy III was released on April 2nd, 1994 and I got it for my 15th birthday 8 days later. I bought the book probably a few months later in the summer when I got my first job.
Note on Final Fantasy III just in case someone is not aware: Through the gaming magazines we lowly Americans find out it's actually the 6th Final Fantasy 😡
It went through the abuse of me carrying it around in my backpack at school (where I shouldn't have had it), to friend's houses and even on road trips. I literally read it over and over again and it was extremely well done in my opinion. Somehow I have kept this book in extremely good condition, especially for all the abuse it took over my high-school years and however many times I moved in my 20s.
I am now 41. This book is near and dear to my heart just like the game and I remember reading the book and playing the game like it was yesterday and it definitely reminds me of a time when gaming as well as life overall was alot less complicated.
