The Yatur sent a spaceship to Earth with a seemingly simple exchange. They would provide humans with advancements in technology for medical and scientific purposes, and the only thing humans had to give in return were women.
Getting on the spaceship to the faraway planet Teague is Angie Love’s one chance to escape her abusive husband and save her unborn child. There’s one catch though—single women can apply. Fortunately for Angie, her twin sister has already been accepted into the program and no one’s ever been able to tell them apart. Now she only needs to take her sister’s place and fool the officials.
When the alien mate selected for her discovers the switch, Angie wonders if he’ll reveal her secret or accept the feelings growing between them and love her anyway.
Zephon Brarcil has waited his entire life for his human mate. He’s dreamed of someone who’ll love him and fill the void his distant mother has left. When the female arrives, she’s more than he could have ever dreamed. When her secrets and lies become known, Zephon decides to protect her and her child with all the resources at his disposal.
A.M. Griffin is a wife who rarely cooks, mother of three, dog owner (and sometimes dog owned), a daughter, sister, aunt and friend. She’s a hard worker whose two favorite outlets are reading and writing. She enjoys reading everything from mystery novels to historical romances and of course fantasy romance. She is a believer in the unbelievable, open to all possibilities from mermaids in our oceans and seas, angels in the skies and intelligent life forms in distant galaxies.

Toda esa situación me dejó boquiabierta.

The prior two books in this series have given us pleasant bread crumb snippets, and we finally get Zephon's full story in detail offering fresh perspectives. Overall this is a really sweet story of friendship, family, and things working themselves out in the end! I read this in one sitting as it was full of action and the mystery of wondering what's going to happen. Note: There are brief descriptions of domestic abuse in a few places. There were some grammar/missing pieces of sentences in a couple places (but easy to figure out). The conclusion, while a tad abrupt, was heartwarming.. but I certainly hope the most evil character gets what's coming!
A beautiful ending for a romance that started out with deception. Throw in the mother in law from hell and you have a heck of a conflict. Running from an abusive relationship will made Angie take a chance on another planet but her mate had a twisted mother that was like jumping from the frying pan into the fire. That Zephaniah was able to forgive Angie and grow to love her made the story worth reading.
A fun read and well developed characters for the shortness of the book :3
I liked how with each book, because they were on the same timeline, that you got to see the same interactions happening from another perspective - and how events came into being mentioned in the previous books.
There were a few spelling mistakes but easily ignorable :)
I really enjoyed this series, loved the Brotherhood of the three friends. Zephon's mother was evil. Would love if the author would do a another book with an update of The Teague men and their mates. Kudos to the author👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾. Book touches on domestic abuse, greed, hatred and pure evil. Sex scenes were 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Great story. Got confused when Angie said everyone was dead on Earth. But then found out that it take 200 years to get to this planet. Evil mother must die or sent to Earth. Seem like ending was not the end. On to the next story.
I enjoyed these bride experiment books and would love to read more. They were quick and interesting. I also think the males are slow on figuring out women.
I really enjoyed this story and the characters. I did not like that a key element to their future has not been settled….so no HEA. It is an entertaining read.
