Well written book about a very difficult subject. I wasn’t sure I’d be able to read this book with this subject, but the author handles it so well that I couldn’t put it down. Definitely recommended

From the moment I picked up this book and brought it home, I started reading it right away. I read most of it the first night and picked it up the following morning to finish it. I was impressed with both the story and how it flowed overall. It is definitely a book worth picking up and reading. It's the type of book that you simply can't put down. Thank you Sarah for such a great read!

I really appreciated this book.Reminiscent of "Room".A heavy topic for sure but ultimately a hopeful story The " voice " of the child- heroine is absolutely accurate & believable.Child sexual abuse by a female perpetrator is seldom told. This story is told well , written well, with empathy & a positive resolution.
An important addition to this genre.

Very well written. A very good approach to a difficult topic that needs more attention. The characters were vivid, the perspective was very believable and once I started reading it I couldn't put it down! Highly recommend.
