Tess is picking up the pieces of a devastating car crash that rendered her sister-in-law, Torrie, comatose—and left her responsible for Torrie’s infant son, Levi. Shortly after, a woman appears on Tess’s doorstep claiming to be Torrie’s estranged sister and Levi’s rightful guardian. But then a second stranger arrives with the same story…

IF SHE WAKES is book 2 in the Harlow Series, a psychological thriller/ psychological drama by Erik Therme. Having loved book 1, If She Dies, I was anxious to continue with the series.
In Book 1, If She Dies, Tess Parker’s five-year-old daughter Lily was killed in a car accident nine years ago. The driver, Brady Becker is now serving two years in prison.
Meanwhile, Brady has a twelve-year-old daughter, Eve, that gets to live, while Tess’s daughter does not. Eve is being raised by his wife, Meg, while he is in prison. Eve walks to school every day. Tess knows this because she's been watching Eve for the last three weeks.
Tess and her husband, Josh’s marriage is strained, because Tess can’t move on, after the death of their daughter. She is depressed and Josh wants his wife to see a therapist, where everything will go back to the way they were before. They had moved a month ago from Newton to Harlow, as Josh was born in Harlow…hoping that by leaving the town of the deadly accident, Tess would be able to move on with her life. But this wasn’t going to happen. Josh wanted to forget the past…but Tess couldn’t!
Now in Book 2, If She Wakes, we find that Tess and her husband Josh married, working out their grief for Lily.
Tess’s twin Colin has died from cancer leaving behind widow Torrie and their four-month-old baby Levi. But then tragedy hits again when Tess was in a car accident with her sister-in-law, Torrie. Torrie being badly injured slips in to a coma, but before she asked Tess and her husband, Josh, to look after her four-month-old son, Levi.
Then, a woman shows up claiming to be Torrie’s sister…but Torrie didn’t have a sister. Then another of Torrie’s “sisters” shows up, both say the other is lying about who they are.
Neither of them is telling the truth…but both want Levi!
Who can they trust?
If She Wakes is an excellent psychological thriller with well-developed characters and fast-paced plot to make for an enjoyable read. Can’t wait for the next book in the series!
Many thanks to the author and The Book Club Reviewer Request Group (FB) for my digital copy.
I received a gifted copy of this book to read in exchange for an honest review as part of the book tour hosted by Zooloos Book Tours.
If she Wakes is a gripping psychological page turner full of twists and turns. I didn't realise this was the second book in a series so I'm really excited to read book 1. Tess and her husband Josh begin to care for Levi - Tess's four month old nephew. Levis mum Torrie has been in a car accident and has gone into a coma. As Tess is finding her feet in looking after a young baby, a woman turns up claiming to be Torries sister. But is she who she says she is? And what does she really want? With Torrie in a coma and Tess battling her own emotional turmoil, will she make sound decisions and be able to protect Levi if necessary? This book was such a page turner! The twists and turns blew my mind. I loved Tess's character - what a strong, incredible woman she is with all she has gone through and is going through! If you're looking for a thrilling, mysterious page turner - look no further!
If She Wakes is the sequel to If She Dies which I reviewed last year. I was ecstatic to hear that a sequel had been written as If She Dies was one of my top five books of 2021. I was also delighted to find that Tess Parker hadn’t changed one bit. She’s still the most wonderful character who has been through the most tragic of circumstances following the death of her 5-year-old daughter, Lily, who was killed in a road traffic accident whereupon the driver of the vehicle was sentenced to just 2 years in prison.
First and foremost, I was glad to see that Tess and her husband Josh are still together, however on top of the grief for Lily, Tess’s twin Colin has died from cancer leaving behind widow Torrie and their four-month-old baby Levi. Tess has done all that she can to be there for Torrie to try and forge a relationship with her and help out with Levi. However, tragedy strikes once more when the pair suffer a car accident. Torrie is badly injured and is in a coma and together with the guilt Tess is feeling, she and Josh have the responsibility of looking after Levi in the hope that Torrie will survive.
If She Wakes is another brilliantly written, compelling thriller that hooks you from the start, and what is even more powerful is that the author has written the sequel so that there are no spoilers if you read this book before the first. Tess is such a beautiful character, heart-warming and deeply flawed, she over-thinks everything and is in the main part, too desperately hard on herself.
As Tess tries to adapt to the changes that come with looking after Levi and the wounds that this opens, she meets Jessie who has come looking for her sister Torrie, revealing a murky past and family dynamics that will blow the reader away.
The twists and turns were completely unexpected and I did not see the ending coming in any way shape or form, which is the kind of thriller that I love. Without ruining the ending, all I will say is bravo, it means there’s a third book coming along, and honestly, I cannot wait.
Another superb thriller that reeled me in and kept me turning the pages until the end and one I would highly recommend.
If She Wakes is the sequel to If She Dies and though I loved the first book, this one is even better. Full of well developed characters this book is an excellent psychological thriller with lots of secrets and twists and turns as well as an explosive ending . A well written fast paced plot that does not let up makes it an entertaining read . Cannot wait for the next one in the series!
5☆ A Gripping, Pacy and Twisty Psychological Thriller!
If She Wakes is the sequel to If she dies and it's just as Gripping and Twisty as the first book, I loved it!
It features the same characters from the first book which was great, but what wasn't great was that the main character Tess is still having so much heartache and trauma thrown at her in this book, i just kept thinking how much more can Tess take. She's one strong character.
This time Tess and her husband find themselves as a sole carer to her twin brother's 4month old Levi. Whilst Levi's Mum battles to survive in a coma after an awful car accident.
But just as Tess gets used to looking after the children a blast from her sister-in-laws past comes out of the woodwork to stir things up!...but who is this mysterious person and are they who they claim to be? And what is it they want!
Wow this book is a Twisty delight, it's fast paced, highly Compelling and keeps you on your toes! Not only is it a cleverly plotted Psychological Thriller, there is also a sense of unease and mystery surrounding the story, which I loved! Do you have to read book 1?....not necessarily but I highly recommend you do as it's just as brilliant as this one! I can't wait for Erik Therme next installment!

🖊: Erik Therme 📆: NEW RELEASE 2/20/22 🎧: Thecker Books
This is book 2 in the “Harlow Series” but it’s easily read & understood as a stand-alone, which I how I read it.
The Parkers, Tess & Josh, have already gone through the unimaginable. Their five year old daughter was killed in a car accident & the driver, Brady Becker was only sentenced to two years in prison.
Now that he is out of jail, Tess is constantly looking over her shoulder in fear of him retaliating for getting put away. The memories of that day & the longing for her baby girl are already hard enough without this added anxiety.
To add insult to injury, since the accident her brother also lost his battle to cancer, leaving her sister-in-law Torrie & nephew Levi on their own.
Tess isn’t that close to Torrie since she & her brother had only been together a short time before his passing. But, even though it’s difficult, she’d like to try to have a bond with them after losing two of the closest people to her.
Torrie & Tess decide to go out for drinks one evening & the night ends tragically. What was supposed to be fun night out lands Torrie in a coma & leaves Levi in the hands of two adults that are already struggling just to make it through each day.
The car crash flushes out old memories & forces new truths to be recognized …what if she doesn’t wake up?
Can a broken marriage be mended by another child’s presence or will it send the two in a downward spiral that leaves them even worse off? For Tess can barely change a diaper without her heart breaking…yearning…
When Torrie’s siblings, who noone knew existed, start to get involved all hell breaks lose. They unleash the childhood demons of their no good father & come bearing their own secrets.
Have they come to take Levi away? Why did Torrie lie about being an only child? Is Brady out for revenge?
This story is told from Tess’s point of view who is seemingly unreliable most times as well. The reader can’t be sure who to trust or what will happen next in this topsy turvy thriller.
Thank you Let’s Talk Books Promo, Erik Therme & Thecker Books for a #gifted ALC in exchange for my honest review.
3 ⭐️.
I think that I would have given this a higher star rating if there wasn’t so much unnecessary information. I feel like in an effort to trick the reader, the author gave us a lot of extra details so we couldn’t figure out the twists.
Another great read from Erik Therme. This book takes place after book one. Although it can be read as a stand alone, I believe it would be a more enjoyable experience if the first book, If She Dies, was read beforehand.
It’s not a sweet, feel-good, warm & fuzzy kind of story. It’s not a charming romance. It’s about lies and loss and betrayal and messy marriages and disagreements and survival.
If She Wakes has so much going on. The mystery, the suspense, and the drama had me turning the pages trying to figure things out. The author does a good job at planting little seeds of suspicion. I was eager to finish so I could get some answers.
We see characters from book one, and get a few new characters. I wasn’t sure who to root for, who to accuse, or who I wanted to punch the most.
The story flowed well and always kept me guessing. Then second guessing. Then it surprised me. And then had me wanting more. Although some things were wrapped up at the end of this book, it was also left wide open for book three. Bring it on.
Did you read and enjoy the first book? If so, then I recommend this one. If you didn’t read book one, you can still enjoy this one.
If She Wakes is the second in a series of three books which take place in or around the fictional small town of Harlow, located somewhere in the Midwest.
It has been two years since the cascade of events that consumed Tess, now age 42. Her five-year-old daughter Lily, killed in an auto accident, has been dead now for nearly two years. Cancer has claimed the life of her beloved twin brother Colin. His widow Torrie has a baby son, Levi, only four months old. With financial help from Tess and her husband Josh, Torrie is able to buy a house close by and Josh and Tess are there to babysit Levi for her whenever she needs them.
Torrie never talks about her family or her past. It has been fourteen years since she’s had contact with them. Levi, Tess and Josh are seemingly all she has.
One evening while driving together after a girls’ night out, Torrie gets an alarming message on her phone. Her distressed reaction momentarily distracts Tess, causing her car to crash into a tree. Tess is badly cut and bruised in the accident but Torrie suffers a head injury. She blurts out something about her estranged sisters and father … and how she was responsible for killing someone. Before Tess can find out what she meant, Torrie lapses into a coma.
Now Tess and Josh find themselves responsible for their nephew Levi until Torrie wakes from her coma — if she wakes. Hence the book’s title.
It seems that Torrie had written a letter of reconciliation to Mia, one of her two sisters, who had replied that her second sister, Jessie, found out about that letter, and also that their father was about to be released from prison after serving time for sexually molesting them. This was the message that had distressed Torrie. But since Torrie is comatose she has no way of knowing that Jessie has driven twelve hours straight from West Virginia to Harlow to visit her new nephew for reasons that may be innocent but are more likely sinister. Or that Jessie may be mentally ill. Or that she carries a gun.
Meanwhile Tess is still obsessed that Brady, the man who killed her daughter, will seek revenge now that he’s been released from prison. She also wants to see if she can locate Brady’s wife and stepdaughter, Meg and Eve, who fled in fear of him while Brady was in prison. Apparently she wants to assist them if she’s able since she feels partially responsible for their plight. So Tess hires Gordon, the brother of a childhood girlfriend who’s now a private investigator, to locate Meg and Eve and to keep an eye on Brady. Tess hides all of this from Josh who suspects her of paranoia or worse in their strained marriage.
And so the travails of Tess continue as the suspenseful story unfolds in many unexpected directions, told again by an author who knows and understands his characters, knows how to express their thoughts, feelings and motivations, and answers all the questions raised above, including “if she wakes.”
I read this book via an ARC from the author, for Rosie Amber's Review Team. The fact that it was free has not affected this honest review.
I didn't realise when I opened this novel on my Kindle that it was a sequel, as I don't look a book up on Amazon after choosing it for review so I can't be influenced by others. I gather that in the first book, Tess and Josh's daughter Lily was killed in an RTA by Brady, after which Tess stalked his family (wife Meg and daughter Amy), and Meg faked Amy being kidnapped. Also, Tess's brother Colin died of cancer - he was married to Torrie, and they have a son, Levi. I learned this from a prologue and first chapter that contained a little too much exposition; a brief 'story so far' in the introduction might have worked better.
The title refers to Torrie, who falls into a coma early in the story, the rest of which centres around Tess and Josh's necessary but difficult relationships with Torrie's family members, as care for Levi is of prime importance. Mysteries abound concerning Torrie and her family. Although certain conclusions are reached by the end of the book, it's clear that it's making way for a third novel as the story is by no means finished.
I'm afraid I found this novel a little 'flat'; it flowed well and is professionally presented; the author has thought up a reasonable plot and delivered it, and the characters are fairly well represented. The emotional problems within Tess and Josh's marriage are well written and realistic, but none of the characters are likeable (you need at least one person to root for!) and I felt that the conversation and narrative lacked spark. An example: 'I nod, as if I didn't already know this. "Better to go tonight and get it done, as something might change in the morning, and we wouldn't have time. I'll go. I just need a few minutes to relax after I finish clearing the table. It's been a long day".' It's all like that. Nothing wrong with it, but it just didn't grab me. A couple of times I got a little excited by what appeared to be the beginning of a good plot line, but each time it was under-developed. The twist at the end was over-explained and a bit tenuous, I thought.
It's not bad, but for me it was just 'okay'. This is, of course, always so subjective, and others might feel differently, particularly if they loved the first book. Sorry not to be more positive.
Very well written and a great storyline. Book 2 in the Harlow series. So tense I had to have a couple of coffee breaks. Truly exciting twists and turns that lead to an astounding finale. This series is a must read and worthy of five stars.
I honestly don't know how I feel about this novel. Even though the twists were endless, I didn't see that ending coming, I just felt like there was no real connection. That the plot just did not line up properly towards the end. It actually felt really discombobulated the more I keep going over the novel in my head. Which is such a shame because it had such potential.
Tess just recently lost her brother Colin to cancer. His wife, Torrie and new son, Levi are leaning on her and Josh to get through this difficult time. They're the only family Torrie has. Or so she claims. After a car accident that Tess & Torrie were in that has left Torrie in a coma, an older sister shows up, Jessie, claiming some things that Tess doesn't know if it's true or not. And not long after that, another sister, Mia, shows up on their doorstep. They both claim the other is lying about who they are. But one thing is clear, they both want Levi.
I will say Therme did a great job with his writing flow, and throwing me far off the mark of the ending that I assure you I never could've thought of. He gets kudos for that! It had such a great premise and I did enjoy most of it, but I have to say the ending was terribly unsatisfying for me & fell short. Oh well! Onto the next!
Having read If She Dies I was excited to read If She Wakes.
Still struggling with the loss of her daughter, Tess is in a dark place trying to move on but not until she takes over the care of her nephew, Levi does she feel some optimism. Levi’s mother Torrie is in a coma after her and Tess got into a car accident. Little does Tess know what she’s about to get into as Jess strolls into town claiming to be Torrie’s sister. Tess finds herself in another twisty family drama. I enjoyed this book, the pacing was steady, there’s lots of room for guessing who is who and who is lying, loved the twist. The end ties up rather nicely. This is the sequel to If She Dies and can be read as a stand alone but I recommend you read in order to get the full experience.
So this book picks up where the first one left off. We are still dealing with the trauma of losing her child when her brother dies and now she’s taking care of her nephew.
Tess is a bit neurotic at times but dang she’s going through a lot. Her husband isn’t sympathetic at all. I would have kicked him to the curb a long time ago. But they are still together and trying to work out their marriage.
However he thinks she’s showing signs of mental instability, what a husband. Like I said, he belongs on the curb. But isn’t this what a good writer does? Gets us engrossed and engaged with the characters good or bad? If a character gets under my skin then to me that writer has done their job.
My only complaint on this installment was the ending. But thankfully book #3 will be out tomorrow so I can see how things will play out.
Erik Therme is an excellent writer in my opinion. It took me awhile to get here but now that I’m here I’m going to keep reading this series! Because now I need to know! 😁
I received this book through Voracious Readers in return for my honest opinion and had not realised it was part of a series, so in that respect can be read as a standalone. This book is full of twists and turns many of which are unexpected. Tess the main female character is flawed, negative and depressive, but unsurprising given what she has been through. The story line as it unfolded was believable and I found myself wondering who I would have believed if I was in the same situation. A wondrous psychological thriller.
I received a free copy of this book from the author through Voracious Readers. I enjoyed the book as I like psychological thrillers and it kept me guessing to the end. Initially, I thought the main character in the story was cold and stilted, but as the story progresses it becomes apparent she is way off balance from the traumatic events she has already been through. Things don't improve at all - in fact, Tess has more chaos headed her way. The characters developed and grew on me the further I read, - enough that I will keep an eye out for future installments to find out what happens next.
I received a gifted ebook copy of this book to read in exchange for an honest review from Voracious Readers
If She Wakes is a gripping psychological page turner full of twists and turns. I didn’t know this was book two in a series, but the author did a quick recap of the last book so I didn't feel like I was truly missing out on the character development. Tess and her sister-in-law Torrie were in a car accident and before Torrie fell into a coma, she asked Tess and her husband Josh to care for her 4 month old son Levi. Out of no where a woman turns up claiming to be Torrie’s sister and wants Levi. And then a second woman claims she is also Torrie’s sister and also wants Levi. But Torrie didn't like to talk about her past and never spoke of any sisters. Who are they really and what do they want with Levi? Although I did get a bit annoyed at times with Tess and Josh’s relationship and the way they spoke with one another, this book was a complete page turner. I was totally hooked and had a hard time putting it down. If you're looking for a thrilling, mysterious, quick reading page turner - look no further! I look forward to checking out book 3
If She Wakes is the second book in the Harlow series and sequel to If She Dies which I reviewed last year. At the end of the first book there were a lot of loose ends and a feeling it was not all over yet – I can now see why. It is now two years since Tess and Josh’s daughter died, and her grief is compounded by the recent death of her brother. After a car accident leaves Torrie in a coma, Tess and Josh are caring for their nephew, Levi. When Torrie’s sisters turn up, Tess is suspicious because Torrie had previously claimed she had no family. Their appearance just adds to Tess’s problems because none of them is being entirely truthful. Once again the story is told entirely from Tess’s point of view, we are inside her head and privy to all her obsessive thoughts. Tess is a wonderfully drawn and fascinating character whose grief has pushed her very close to the edge; she is hanging on with her fingernails. She may be paranoid but maybe someone really is out to get her. Despite appearances, Tess has not really changed all that much. Her marriage is in a slightly better place now, but starts to show cracks again with the strain of all that is happening. To me, Josh is still as unsupportive and irritating as he was before – no wonder Tess doesn’t tell him everything. I’m not sure putting the backstory in the prologue works too well; perhaps not giving so much information all at once would be better, and might encourage readers to seek out If She Dies first. The pace is erratic at times, but the writing is gripping and the surprising twist near the end comes out of nowhere – I was hooked and read it in two sittings. The ending seems to suggest that there will be a third book to look forward to. Thanks to Erik Therme for a digital copy that I review as a member of Rosie’s Book Review Team #RBRT
This is my first time reading this author and what a really good twisted crime, thriller mystery this book was. It also had a very good psychological edge to it.
The life of Tess hasn't been the happiest, it has left her mentally and emotionally scarred. She has the support of her husband, and together they are existing in their marriage. When an accident leaves Tess's sister in law in hospital it is down to Tess and her husband Josh to look after 4-month-old Levi until Torrie is able to leave the hospital.
This started well and the author quickly engaged me with a pretty fast-paced story. What appeared to be a simple story of an accident soon developed into something more twisted. The story of Tess is gradually incorporated into the story and it was definitely needed to explain her state of mind and also the dynamics of her relationship with Josh, Torrie and also baby Levi.
Tess comes across as quite emotionless but as I learnt more about her I realised why. It gave reason to her cold attitude and also to her mental health. This story does touch onto the mental health side of things in various forms and the author has done a wonderful job with this. It gives the overall story a psychological edge to it that makes for a gripping read. It also added several twists, some I saw coming but others I didn't expect at all.
This is a fast-paced story, it is intriguing and one that I read in one sitting. I was able to see a different side to several of the characters and for some it made me change my view of them. Not everyone is as you think they are.
This is one for those who like a twisted crime thriller and mystery read. It is one I would recommend reading and I look forward to reading more by this author.
Thank you to @letstalkbookspromo and @eriktherme for my ebook of If She Wakes.
If She Wakes is the sequel to If She Dies, which I actually read about a year ago! If She Wakes follows Tess and her husband Josh as they continue to navigate their shaky marriage after everything that played out just months ago.
One night, after enjoying a nice meal with Torrie, Tess accidentally hits a deer on their drive home and Torrie, who wasn’t wearing a seatbelt, hits her head. The next day, she’s in a coma.
With no other family to take care of her four month old son, Levi, Tess and Josh take him in for the time being. But then a mysterious woman shows up at Torrie’s house, and everything begins to slowly unravel again for Tess. Tess was also paying a P.I. to search for Meg and Eve while keeping an on Brady for her after he was released from prison.
With every passing minute, Tess doesn’t know who to trust, and what’s left of the foundation of her marriage to Josh crumbles even further.
Tess is a somewhat unreliable narrator, mainly because of Josh’s constant belittling of her and her behavior. Even as the reader, I sometimes question her “truth” because nobody else really sees it the same way. I also enjoyed the twist in this story, because I didn’t really see it coming. I was so focused on the mysterious woman! I also really enjoyed learning more about Tess in this sequel, and I’m equally excited for the third installment!
Tess is still reeling from the tragic death of her daughter as well as losing her brother to cancer, while fighting to repair her marriage. She and her husband find solace in helping Tess' sister in law, Torrie, and her new baby. Torrie is completely on her own, widowed and with no family.
One evening Tess and Torrie get into a car accident and Torrie ends up in a coma. Tess and her husband take on caregiving for the baby, until someone shows up claiming to be Torrie's sister. And then another sister shows up. That's a lot of sisters for someone with no family. Tess vows to get to the bottom of this and find out who is the real liar.
This was an entertaining thriller, and absolutely superb on audio. It is book 2 in a series, but you don't need to read book 1, however this book does spoil that story line.
There was a twist I didn't see coming, and although it was surprising, I didn't love it as it seemed a bit unbelievable. Regardless, this is a fast paced addictive story that flew by. It also has a nice setup for book 3, and I'm definitely looking forward to connecting with these characters again.
The novel is written in first person, showing us Tess Parker’s viewpoint. Early on in the book, Tess is in a car accident with her sister-in-law Torrie Adams. Tess is pretty much okay, but Torrie ends up with a serious head injury. This leaves Tess and her husband Josh to look after Torrie’s four-month-old baby son, Levi. Then a woman turns up, introducing herself to Tess as Torrie’s older sister Jessie. But Torrie has never mentioned having sisters… It’s a bit of a strange one this. Nearly all the characters are unlikeable and everyone is flawed, plus they all seem to be harbouring secrets and lies. It’s a bit hard knowing who to root for really, although there’s a baby, so we all want the baby to be okay. It’s quite a short book with a lot happening and the pacing sometimes seems a little frenetic. It does keep you turning the pages though to find out what happens and there are plenty of twists and turns, so the story certainly isn’t predictable. There’s a good showdown when you need it and it holds your interest. 7 out of 10
I read this sequel without reading the first book in the series. The main details of the first book were reviewed so I never felt lost. But I’d like to read “If She Dies” and become more familiar with the trauma Tess and Josh lived through when their daughter was killed.
We’re always told that there are two sides to every story. In this case, there are numerous sides and it’s fascinating and intense to hear the different versions. Who is telling the truth? Is anyone telling the truth and can these people be trusted?
This book is one of the reasons I don’t like series. The ending suggests there is another book coming. I wasn’t ready to stop reading and I want answers now!! I hope the author is hard at work on the next book. I’m first in line to read the ARC 🙋♀️.
Thank you to Zoo Loos Book Tours for the complimentary copy of this book. All opinions are my own.
This book started slow, but when it picked up, it picked up! I’ve not read the first book in the series, but plan to and also the third. Lots of twists, turns and red herrings!
A sequel to If She Dies, Mr. Therme again fills a book with twists and turns. We're back with Tess and Josh, dealing with the death of Tess's brother. They are forging a relationship with his widow Torrie and four-month-old son, Levi.
Except for Tess's continual fixation on Brady--the man responsible for the death of her daughter--things seem to be progressing normally. Until there's a car accident involving Tess and Torrie, landing Torrie in a coma. We discover that Tess, unbeknownst to Josh, has hired a PI to find Brady's missing family.
And suddenly, the formerly "I've no family" Torrie has sisters coming to town from all sides. Lots of complexities dominate the landscape of If She Wakes and you're not sure exactly who is telling the truth ... until you do.
I was very excited to read If She Wakes the sequel to If She Dies. As with Erik Therme's other novels, this grabbed me from the start. When a novel starts in a cemetery I know I am in for a good read. Tess' and Josh's story continues with a new set of characters, cleverly written and introduced into the story. Fast paced, tense and full of twists and turns this novel kept me in suspense right to the end. If I was excited at the start I was even more excited to read the ending. Bravo to Erik Therme. .looking forward to his next novel.
A completely enthralling thriller about how far people will go to protect loved ones. When Tess is in a car accident, all kinds of crazy things happen. Her sister-in-law is in a coma, her husband is sometimes unavailable and she is still searching for Meg and Eve. Her PI is an old friend and she thinks he has her best interest at heart. If only she knew. I do not give spoilers, so you will have to read this awesome thriller that leaves you guessing.
Wow what a exciting read. I won this book on Goodreads giveaway. I didn't read the first book but will be sure to find it. Great characters and it kept me guessing what will happen next. A hard book to put down. That poor women has so many horrific things happen to her. How would one person handle all that. Wow. I recommend this book if you want a fast exciting book to read
I received this book through Voracious Readers Only and throughly enjoyed. I read this as a stand-alone and I was hooked from the beginning right up to the end. Loved the twists and turns and it kept me guessing. Would recommend if you enjoy psychological thrillers.
