Except, Auric punched my royal—descended from gods—betrothed right in the face. Novak has murder in his eyes, more so than usual. And my body is screaming at me to take all three males and teach them who’s in charge here.
Because I believe the truth now. I’m a Noir royal, descended from the gods themselves and destined to fix the history my fake-father forged. The one where black-winged angels were the result of sin and scandal instead of the truth.
My black wings mark me as a superior being, one that will reunite Angelkind to the glory they once were. But first, I need to get my three mates in line and keep them from killing each other.
Ketos, a prince with gold-tipped wings, has a legion of Noir on his side, technology and power that we’ll need to play Sayir’s game. Not to mention he has always been destined to be my mate, a fact I know is as true as the sun and the stars.
Novak, my lethal weapon, has been blessed by the gods, chosen to stand with us and slay our enemies.
And Auric, my Commander, my Nora, represents everything I want for a new world, one where Nora and Noir work together like they were meant to.
It’ll take a miracle, or divine intervention, to convince these three males to work together. It’s my ultimate test. A trial that I must pass. Because if I can’t bring my mates together, how am I supposed to unite a lost world?

This continued right where we left off previously with Layla meeting her true parents the Noir King and Queen and also her apparent betrothed and new potential mate match Ketos something her two already claimed mates Novak and Aurik are definitely not happy about.
As they all settle into a new daily routine and with their potential guards lowered as they all bask in this new idyllic reality one person is still questioning the validity of this completely surreal to good to be true situation which in turn then results in a target firmly placed on his back.
And Ketos himself is a whole new unknown, a powerful element there’s definitely now the potential for an expanding mate circle if Layla can just get her boys to play nice that is. We again get multiple viewpoints including Raven and her two mates and also an explosive finale that definitely left me wanting more and my god that finish was certainly stunning I can't wait to learn what happens next.
This was fast-paced and gripping I’m definitely excited for the next piece of the puzzle and this series always leaves me wanting more. As usual, the writing was excellent and the intimate scenes were scorching with plenty of red-hot chemistry that projected off the page. I voluntary reviewed a copy of Noir reformatory Third offence.
4.75 stars! Love this series! And this book adds not only a new mate, but a very intriguing plot, and a huge cliffhanger! While Layla tries to understand this new world that she came from, and acquaint herself with her real parents, she’s not quite sure what to make of Ketos, who she is supposedly betrothed to, definitely attracted to, but also wary of. Auric and Novak, meanwhile, don’t like this new development one bit, and are looking to stake their claim and fend off this new alleged mate. And while that dynamic is unfolding, all kinds of odd and unsettling things are happening around them, especially arousing Auric’s suspicion over this whole situation. But there’s always time for the spice. 🌶
The way this story unfolds is very engrossing - just enough undercurrent of suspicion and uncertainty, but not enough to fully raise your hackles... or is it? Meanwhile, the males are circling each other in a p!ss!ng contest, not to mention wanting to prove their love to Layla in any way possible. It all leads to a huge twist and a battle scene that blew my mind, and a cliffhanger that has me absolutely dying for the next book in the series. Loved it!
This book was so good but the ending ripped out my soul and crushed it! I can't wait for the next book! And I love Ketos already! I can already tell that he's a sweety and I can't wait for him to become more involved!
This MMF/RH series is really unique and I will definitely continue reading it. I like it overall, but I feel like books 2 and 3 moved fairly slow. The characters just cannot catch a break--they're always losing at something, barely escaping, being fooled/tricked, and are totally oblivious or one step behind the Big Bad. After 3 books, it would be nice to see them outsmart someone just once. Everyone seems to be in the "know" of what's going on except our main characters, which makes all of the books start to drag 3 books in. That said, the spice is GOOD and I like all of the characters. I also really do think it's a unique story, and Ketos is awesome so far too. I can't wait to see how his relationship with the other 3 progresses. I just need to see our MCs get a win.
Dammit! It killed a little part of my soul to discover there are still 3 more books in this series, and I have to wait another 8 months for the next one!!
We pick up the story where Layla finally meets her parents and her thirdate (to-be). I loved the way Ketos views the situation - become one of the group, not to replace the group. That's right there... Yeh, good writing.
However this whole book just felt like a long interval. Was it all really necessary? It just seems like a very long build up to the final scene, where Auric is proven right - nothing is as it seems.
One thing this series has solidified for me - MMF scenes are fucking hot. The love and commitment between Auric and Novak... Wow. That scene where Layla and Novak take him, showing their trust and support was mind-blowing for me. It was raw, but so beautiful.
I can't see Auric believing Sefids lies for long. His mind is already questioning everything.

Every book gets more exciting! And Layla becomes more powerful. This book in the series is more tender and very chill, which is a little abnormal considering what they have dealt with in the past. There is the threat of a new mate and guards, everywhere. But the sweet moments is what got me and the intriguing Ketos. Plus, Auric discovering that not everything is what it seems. What do I mean? Well, you will just have to read to find out.
Will the next book never come? I'd been waiting for years now 😤🥺.
October, 2022 I've overly read through this series, I'd so much fun with Layla, Auric, Novak & now Ketos...but the fuck was that at the end?! Omg 😭. Please tell me the next book is coming soon...I have a feeling it'll take time as subject to the other books release schedule here 🥺.
I'm not sure what direction the author(s) wanna take this, but it's obvious there is a loot of confusion happening. I am trying to understand the magic and the technology, but our MCs are very horny and getting it on all the time- which is fine, as the main reason I picked up this series is the spice and not the plot. However a girl can only hope to get both plot and spice in one package.
So this chick here, I think her name is Layla, or Raven, one of the two is the princess and the other is the tool, finds out she has another (3rd) mate, who looks powerful and hot and what not. But ofc the cavemen she got herself saddled with, the psycho and the guard, took their role seriously and created unnecessary drama- like bloody american frat boys with that idiotic mentality. Instead of getting it on and keep going, they had to be idiots and got their asses kicked.
Anyway, I'm not sure how Daddy jailor is involved, and why he appears to give hints, while at the same time has been torturing both princess and tool, the last 2 and half books. Also is he a hallucination, a dreamcast, or is he real? The authors' writing left a lot to be desired.
I'm not sure what kind of plot requires four more books. Also the silent conversations happening, that's not realistic at all. Most of the miscommunication between any of the characters is because they keep growling, glaring and huffing and puffing with frowning and smirking and some lip twitching, or ear twitching, or dick wiggling, not sure, but there is lots of that happening - IN BLOODY SILENCE!
Will I read the next one? I think Not. I want dialogue and prose between the bouts of monkey sex, and this is not happening. Also 4 more books of this? Someone is desperate :S
This is the type of book that I couldn't put down once I started it. I can't believe that this is the third book and we've got another 3 more to go with this story. It's going to be one crazy ride!
We're not lacking on action, steam, or suspense in this story line, especially with mate number 3 coming about. It's so crazy how things continue to get crazier as the books go on.
Just when you think you know what's going to happen next or figure out the "who dun it" you get thrown a huge curveball. These ladies really know how to keep us on the edge of our seats, waiting, but at least we get some fun scenes to witness 🌶️
I'm waiting suppppper *patiently* for the next book. I know that we're going to go on this roller coaster ride for a few more books until we get that HEA! Make sure if you want to start this series start at the beginning!
Wow, this book packs a punch 🥊 Layla, Auric and Novak arrive with Novak’s cousin and his mates at “Layla’s parents mansion” only to discover everything they knew about Noir and Nora beings is false. Ketos is introduced as Layla’s betrothed and a compatible mate, however her mates are feeling threatened…until Auric discovers something amiss in their new surroundings😬
A great story with some emotionally crippling and anxious moments which had me pausing to take a breather and time to reflect😳 I’m looking forward to what happens next in this mate circle❣️I received an advanced copy and voluntarily leave my honest review❤️
So this book deals with the group making it to Rome and Layla meeting her betrothed God, Ketos. Of course Novak and Auric and not too happy about that. They fall into a careless routine of relaxation and joy in the new life they can now have together, without Ketos, but something is nagging at each of them. Auric is the first to realize that something is happening and they need to figure out what it is. Then comes the visions and the danger. How is this fight going to end? One will be lost to them, while the rest are broken. Is the fight gone from their souls, or can they get it back?
This intense and emotional read was nothing less than fabulous. The action and suspense throughout this series keeps getting better and better and has kept me guessing throughout. Just when I think I have things figured out, a new piece is thrown into this complex puzzle.
I love the strength, both emotional and physical, that all of the main characters possess. The steaminess was there as well. Can’t wait til Ketos is added into this love triangle, I know it’s bound to happen! I’m really looking forward to the next installment!
Hold onto your hats everyone!! Yowza...what a ride. Perception is the name of the game in this part of our groups journey. Boy oh boy is it more important than ever! Get ready for all kinds of action, deception, revelations, surprises, sexy time, and so much more. Not to mention a WHOPPER of a cliffhanger that will indeed leave you desperate for more, more, more! What's real, and what's a mirage? This thrilling journey is filled with adrenaline, and packed full of intrigue. It's definitely a series worth checking out!
I literally just finished reading Third offense and my emotions are all over the place!! Each book gets better and better(how is it possible?)! There is action, live, laughter, steam, suspense, just everything!! I HIGHLY recommend this book and the series! I can’t say enough good things about this book/series. It’s going to kill my waiting until next year for the Fourth offense to come out. I’ve pre ordered it so I’ll get to read it no problem, but AAAHHHH the wait!! 😭
This book was completely spellbinding and had me absorbed from the start. Fast paced and action packed and filled with mind boggling plot twists to keep you guessing. I couldn't help falling under Novak's spell and loved his silent conversations, and I hope we find out more about Clyde. This book ends on a devestating cliffhanger, and leaving me desperate for the next instalment. I absolutely loved this book and can't recomend it highly enough, you won't be disapointed.
WOW! I didn't know what was real and what wasn't in this instalment of Noir Reformatory. This third book kept me intrigued throughout not knowing who to trust and who not to trust. Can't get enough of this world that these two authors have created, there imagination is amazing kept me glued to this story line with bated breath waiting to see how this all unfolded. Can't wait for the next instalment after that ending.
The book was so fantastic, I couldn't put it down even when I needed to.. There are so many things happening, many things still unsolved and you'll keep wondering who's friend and who's foe. Throughout the whole book I kept asking so many questions, having so many theories and of course yelling at the characters to "wake up" and move!!! It was a great ride being with this characters all over again. I cannot wait for the book to come out on audio so I can revisit it once more!
Fast paced and action packed, we hit the ground running and in no time at all I found myself drawn back into this world. There’s so much going on and with twists and turns and more surprises along the way, this exciting and entertaining continuation had me hook, line and sinker and after that ending, eager for the next book.
It is worth it to keep on reading this series. Every book gets better and better. The action, chemistry, and danger, all come together and create a fun and entertaining story that will have you hooked from the very first book. The third Offense is filled to the brim with all the good stuff we have come to love about this series from the first previous two. A must read.
Great third book in the series sees Layla, Auric and Novak together with Raven and her mates, travel to meet Layla’s true family...and her betrothed. Only nothing is ever as it seems...again! Betrayal, lies, plots, smexy boy time and battles. Brilliant 4 stars. Highly recommend.
This is definitely one of my favorite series by Lexi Foss and J.R. Thorne. They are both fantastic writers and make for very exciting reads as they write together as well as separately. I’ve pretty much read everything they have written and if I haven’t? I know it’s in my TBR waiting for me to read it.
This has been an awesome series so far. The story of Layla and her men is so gripping. Novak and Auric are handsome and deadly which in turn equals sexy as hell. The introduction of a potential new mate, Ketos, just adds more spice to this story. A definite must read for anyone interested in paranormal RH.
I absolutely loved this book and can not wait to see where this series leads us. The characters were amazing to get to know. The personalities blended well together, I love the silent conversations especially Novak he had me laughing plenty. I will definitely be waiting impatiently for the next title!
Another one I just couldn’t put down. The intensity and the fast pace just keep me going. Sometimes I wish I could be in the authors mind working out how everything is going to go. But then again I’m not sure I want to be in there.
This booked had me hooked from the first page, i devoured this book that took me on an emotional roller coaster. I love the different characters each of her mates has a special place in my heart. I cannot wait for the next book!
Man this story just keeps getting more mixed up as it goes. Even when you feel like hey things are looking up and I am understanding whats going on then everything gets tipped upside down. Need the next now.
Two weeks cannot come fast enough as I wait for Fourth Offense to be released. We just saw the next bond forming, only to have another broken. Just gonna cry until release day.
