Spirit School #8

Pretty Dead Girl

Rate this book
Barbara is dead, VERY dead, but she just wants to check social media and spend time with her almost-boyfriend. She definitely doesn't want to attend spirit school and learn how to be a spirit guide. Talk about inconvenient!

Barbara's instructor, Vineet, isn't making her afterlife any easier. Vineet is zany, nerdy, and a little bit weird. They're polar opposites, but somehow, some way, they have to work together to make humans' wishes come true.

Pretty Dead Girl is part of the Spirit School series, but can be read as a standalone story.

I'm a rather reclusive author living in Ohio with four cats.
I write super fluffy fluff and darkest grim grimdark. "This author has a strange imagination" was my favorite compliment ever. I hope my strange imagination entertains someone out there!

This one got me a lot. I though I was not going to like B, but of course she had a great character development, which made me understand her better and really like her. And I love a geek 💕 and Vineet was just the perfect character for the book. Thanks again Aron, looking forward to reading more of your books

Super cute

I absolutely love Vineet and i was super glad to see Barbara realize how great he is! Really, all of the growth B experienced was heartening and I enjoyed watching the developments, both in B's personality and in her relationship with Vineet. Their missions were also really engaging and I liked how a few of them were tied together - I enjoy when there are updates on the charges after a particular mission has ended.
Now, I just have to try to be patient and wait for the next book in the series to be finished and published - I don't think patience will come easily, as I loved the whole series and seriously look forward to more!

I love this series and this was a really good book. Barbara is killed in a car crash and has to leave her life of influencer, makeup and parties behind. Vineet is her total opposite and her intructor but a friendship develops.

I really like Barbara and how she evolves and I like Vineet and his singing off key, silly cat t shirts and together they are really great. I loved hearing the stories of the people they are spirit guides for and I liked seeing a little more of Archangel Gabriel and I hope he has his own love match coming up.

i hope this series doesn't end any time soon each book has been wonderful and this one though suppose to be more adult than young adult fit right in.

Barbra was a real air-head, obsessed with make up and looking pretty, and being an influencer on social media until she met with a very sudden unexpected death. She arrived home and found that she was expected to attend spirit school and learn how to be a spirit guide, and she was given a partner who was a nerd, had no idea how to dress and was not such a great instructor at all, so much so that she did not learn to manifest at all under his tutelage. However though total opposites he made her laugh and sort of grew on her, so much so that when she started being hit upon by archangel Gabriel, one of the most sought after bachelors ever, she had to make a choice and Veneet was her choice. This book is funny, extremely touching in that the people they went to help were in dire need and Barbra acted so kind, she just would not give up on any of her test subjects. I was very surprised to see such a big change take place in Barbra and it was all for the better. I really enjoyed this book though at one point it became really scary for one of her test subjects but I loved how they solved that situation together. I just cannot get enough of this fun series, a series of hope for all who read it!
