I am in absolute shock! Sicilian Sunset by Nikila Rose tore me apart piece by piece. I'm usually able to pin point certain things when it comes to a book, but not this one. I was on edge the entire time, and I welcomed it. It was so refreshing to not read such a predictable book. If I could I would give this more than 5 stars. Excellent job, Nikila!
Ella and Tiero are so fudging hot! Oh my gosh, I absolutely died with how much tension they have. These characters are just so beautiful as well as unique! I absolutely loved how Nikila portrayed them, and the details she gave us in regarding their past and the reasons why they are who they are. It was absolutely beautiful, and just a great experience.
You guys are going to love both of them with everything in you. Just wait and see 😉. I cannot wait for all of you to read this magical book! Go read Sicilian Sunset by Nikila Rose to meet the beautiful Ella and Tiero!

This is a new author to me but I am definitely hooked by this Trilogy. I have read the first two books and have requested to be an ARC reader for the final book. This first book was so amazing. The characters were so interesting and the descriptions of the beautiful locations were amazing. Ella is such a sweet, innocent and trusting person that meets a tall dark and handsome Sicilian named Tiero that is total opposite of Ella. There are immediate sparks and a very strong chemistry that they share. Tiero knows instantly she's his One and will do anything to keep her. Ella's bestie, Rhia and her bestie's sister Zoe are total opposites but they add so much to the story. Rhia and Ella are so close and have been for years and they share so many things. Rhia wants Ella to have fun on the vacation and encourages her let go with the hot Italian. It amazed me how in tune Tiero and Ella were to each other, an almost super natural feeling that had when the other was close. I will be posting the next book review ASAP and will be waiting anxiously for Book 3. Thank you Nikila for such a funny, sad, sweet and steamy series!!!

This review is for all three books, I’m conflicted and it only seems fair to do it this way.
Book 1

This book made me want to gouge my eyes out. The writing was horrendous. The author spent most of the time with redundant, Whiny inner monologue that made me want to claw my eyes out and not finish this book. She missed too many opportunities to amp up the chemistry between both characters and for the most part it was bland and fell flat, still I persisted because I could not for the life of me understand how many people were giving 4&5 starts. Towards the end the writing started to shift and my curiosity spiked and much to my surprise I needed to read book 2

I really liked this book. The chemistry started to develop between the MMC & FMC. I started to understand why the author wrote book 1 in the format that she did ( it still was a missed opportunity and should’ve been written better) but nonetheless the story picks up and I am rooting for MMC. He was delicious 😋

The author is supposedly coming out with a alternate ending which makes me a little nervous for a few reasons but for the sake of not spoiling anything I’ll leave it at that. But I would have like to read just a book with the first MMC and FMC in another life.

Sicilian sunset by Nikila Rose is book 1 of 3 contemporary romance. I was lucky enough to get an advanced copy of in return for an honest review, and I loved this book.
The story is a bit insta love with some pull from our FMC Ella but the guy giving chase is definitely one of my favourites to read.
I adored Ella, I loved how comfortable she was being herself. A lot of times female characters in romance are easily steam rolled by an alpha MC, but Ella was the perfect amount of shy, sweet and kind without being a doormat. I loved the way she knew who she was and what she wanted in life.
Even the side characters were unapologetically themselves.
Rhia was fantastic, she was a great friend to Ella. The way she would be there for her no matter what but still help push her out of her comfort zone. Rhia is definitely 100% a fantastic hype girl, They had me cracking up more than a few times reading this book. I loved the friendship between these two.
Finally we get to our MC Gualtiero Leandro De Marco. The guy is as mysterious as he is frustrating, yet at the same time so swoon worthy sweet. He is very alpha male, I’m talking melt my kindle steamy scenes alpha with a soft spot for our FMC only. which I absolutely love in my MCs. I do wish we got to read more of the book from his point of view though, I adored Ella but I wanted to be in Tieros head a little more.
Reading Sicilian Sunset not only made me want to add a new destination on my travel dream list it brought all kinds of spice to those steamy scenes. I can not wait for the 2nd book of this trilogy.

Nikila Rose is an exceptionally talented author. She weaves such beautiful stories and characters you feel you know. Her storylines are rich, and they flow effortlessly. I found this so hard to put down.
I fell in love with Ella in Nikila’s debut novel, Highland Escapade, where we followed best friends Rhia and Ella to the Scottish Highlands. Rhia met and fell in love with her soulmate Lex, and if you haven’t read it, I HIGHLY recommend it! (It’s on Kindle Unlimited - thank me later! 😉)
This time, the girls are off to Sicily with Rhia’s younger sister Zoe, who is an absolute hoot! If you thought Rhia was wild, you’ve seen nothing yet! This girl will have you laughing so hard!!

I’m going to let Ella describe this book: “Why is it that the women in these books always roll over for the criminals they encounter? None of them want anything to do with that kind of lifestyle to begin with, but as soon as they fall in love, they seem to be okay with all the crime surrounding them. Don’t people have a backbone? Those scenarios seem so unrealistic.”-Chapter 28.
This is a book for when you just want something to pass the time, like a tv show that you put on as background noise. I was just mindlessly skimming through it, occasionally reading the little dialogue that appeared because majority was internal thoughts and her recalling and telling stuff. It ended in a cliffhanger and it wasn’t enjoyable enough for me to suffer through the next one.

I've followed Nikila Rose since she first came on the scene. I knew she had something special and she doesn't disappoint. I thought the first book of the Triple Flame Trilogy was great, but Scicilian Sunset is on a whole new level. Ella is not a girl who jumps from bed to bed she has too much respect for herself, she wants the bundle. Love, marriage, kids. Until she meets Tiero. He's nothing she has ever known before, and he's already under her skin. Tiero has her doing things she would never have imagined, but it's just a holiday fling, isn't it? Beautifully written.

Sicilian Sunset has it all and more . What a fantastic start to what I can already tell is going to be a phenomenal new trilogy by non other than the very talented Nikila Rose . From the moment I met both Ella and Tiero I was so very captivated by their characters , likable , relatable and very unique . It was not long before I found myself becoming so very invested in their love story . Ella is a dog trainer specifically ( guide dogs ) she absolutely loved her job , she’s the type of person who would do anything for the people she loves . She has always dreamt about finding her soulmate and experiencing true love . She’s not into one night stands or friends with benefits. But when she meets Tiero all bets are off . Tiero - hot , swoony and Italian - everything you would want it a guy and more . He runs his families business and does not typically believe In relationships . Hook Ups and casual have always been his MO well that’s until he meets Ella . Two people who could not be more different. Their lives are about to change in ways they never expected. From the moment they meet the pull between them is undeniable/ sparks fly . It’s not often I come across a story that has the ability to hold my attention the way Sicilian Sunset has or all the crazy emotions it stirred in me . It truly is a emotional rollercoaster in every sense of the word. You’ll laugh , you’ll cry , you’ll find yourself rooting for their happy ending.

Gualtiero De Marco is the head of his family and their businesses. He knew straightaway who would have the nerve to take him out in broad daylight, and makes sure that Ella and Rhia have guards keeping them safe at all times.
Tiero is convinced she is his One. The woman that his father told him he would instantly recognise as his soulmate. The palpable attraction towards each other is in the air around them and clear to everyone else. But Elle doesn’t do casual sex. It’s never been like that for her. Sex is too intimate. But after a few days of being wooed by Tiero she caves. She can’t deny the passion between them and truly begins her Sicilian adventure…
This was a well written and brilliant read. Elle’s epic antics when it comes to sitting on creatures are hilarious. Her friendship with Rhia is heartwarming, and the passion between her and Tiero steams up your kindle.
Although she is completely protected from Tiero’s world, you can tell she’s suspicious of his evasive answers. Her recap of her mafia romance also makes you laugh. But Elle is so innocent in her outlook on life that would never realise she’s living one. Superb.

This is the first book in the Triple Flame trilogy as well as the first book I’ve read by Nikila Rose. And if this is how she writes all her books, sign me up I want to read them all.
I love Ella and Rhia’s friendship. I wish I had a Rhia in my life. Ella and Rhia are going on a vacation, to Sicily and Ella meets this gorgeous swoon worthy hot Italian. Tiero has that insta love once he lays eyes on her. Is 2 weeks enough for Ella and Tiero to know each other and fall in love?
Such a page turner, this book will captivate you and transport you to this exotic location. Nikila did an amazing job at describing the setting. I surely want to go now. Full of humor, mystery, action, suspense, love and a little bit of danger. Sicilian Sunset is a must read and I can’t wait for book 2.

Sicilian Sunset by Nikila Rose is book 1 in The Triple Flame Trilogy and the second book in the The Escape World Series. This also means that the story unfortunately ends on a cliffhanger. I am however excited to see what happens in books 2 and 3. This series follows Ella who was introduced in Highland Escapade, Nikila's first published book.
This is a long book filled with lots of interesting writing and plot points about the two main characters to create a well developed story which I will love re-reading. I highly recommend reading this book and finding more by this author. You won't regret it!.

Wow! This was a great book that kept me from wanting to put it down. Ella and Tiero were great together. I really liked that a few of the chapters were from Tiero's POV. This book was well written and easy to read. Seeing Ella step out of her comfort zone was fun as well as watching her and Tiero start to develop their relationship. I am hopeful that the next book will answer some of my questions about Tiero and his life as there was many things I wanted to know about him. This book ended on a cliff hanger and now I can't wait for the next part of the series!! Excellent job!

I am fairly new to this author. I did t read the first book in the series but after I went back and bought it. This story was lovely. Ella and Rhia are the best of friends. Now that Rhia has her one and only, this pair of girlfriends takes a vacation but Ella is still looking for love even though she is very happy for Rhia. Her thoughts on love are quite innocent and perhaps immature. Ella always seems to have supernatural elements to her personality. The book was a fun read.

This Sicilian love story is thoroughly captivating! From the moment they meet Gaultiero and Ella seem perfect for one another. Except one is innocence and light, the other sin and darkness. Can one balance out the other? You will enjoy every moment finding out!

This pulled me at the moment when I started to read this book. Tiero and Ella are a crazy, loving duo that i quite enjoyed reading these types of characters. I read this book in one setting and wanted the second one. But ill be patient and keep my cool because of that ending.. i just holy smokes and things are going to get interesting and things need to be discussed for sure. Thank you.

Loved the book it was awesome the story was full of action, danger, mystery, suspense, dominants, respect, euphoria, romance, lust, and the rollercoaster ride just keeps going and the pages keep flipping over. Three girls go to Sicily for a two week holiday, Ella and her friends are sitting down that when Ella sees a shop that sells postcards and heads off by herself when she sees him she ends up saving his life she was flabbergasted by his beauty. Tiero was on the ground before he knows it, he is heavily guarded. Every time they touch it does something too them. It definitely was a page turner. .

This was beautifully written. Take Ella who is in a bit of a relationship slump and in vacation in Siciliy. Tiero is the handsome mafia man. Ella doesn't know that Tiero is part of the mafia and also a pawn in a game. They both fall in love, but don't feel they can do anything.
This does end in a cliff hanger. Can't wait for the next one. .

Oh this book is amazing!!
I am super lucky that I got to read this book in advance .. ladies .. buckle up .
your in for one hell of a ride !!
so I highly recommend reading Nikilas 1st book Highland Escapade .before.you start the trilogy but that's only my recommendation !!.
Well we catch up with Ella and Rhia in Sicily 2 years on from there scottish adventure . The girls are enjoying a fuck it list holiday yup a fuck it list !! in Sicily .
Rhia and lex are still strong and our girl Ella is young free and single... until she saves Mr tall dark and handsomes life and everything changes EVERYTHING.
As per I don't do spoilers I really wouldn't want to.ruin this book for you at all .. but this book has soo many levels soo many ..there's a beautiful mystical feel to.this story . like fate and the universe has lead Ella to this point ..and she feels it. Ella's character development in this book is amazing the bond she and Rhia have is stunning and you feel it .
when Ella meets Teiro honestly my kindle nearly melted it was sooo hot soo hot hes literally .. smoking.. and although there is alot of reservations on Ella's side .. Teiros want for her is epic and god ...its really really hot and swoony and just gorgeous.
But all is not plain sailing.. and really I read this book twice in 2 days I got caught up in the mystery and drama..there are loads of clues in this book and loads of decoys . when you think I know where this books going it flips and bam! your left clueless wondering what happened. I'm still reeling and thinking about where this story will go as book one of three be prepared for a clifhanger ending !!
soo yeahy this book is dramatic and filthy hot there are loads of new side characters who add to this story and give potential leads to where this story could go.
Nikilas writing really got me in this book she does this lovely thing where it feels.like the character addresses the reader as if Ella knows your with her I really liked it I felt part of the book , even part of the gang. there is also loads of humour seriously the situations Ella gets into . I laughed so hard I got banned from my livingroom for disturbing the footy 😂 .
This book is book 1 so be prepared it was funny romantic and steamy , but also dark and mysterious. .it was a great read and I am reeling I need book 2 I need to know how its gonna go. i have a feeling tho it's a dark road that we are heading down and I really can't wait ..

This review is me reading and reviewing at the same time. Not super spoilish...
Ella and Rhia are the bestest friends ever. They're inspiration. Sicilian Sunsets takes place two years later after Highland Escapades. (Go read that book!) So Rhia has her mate and now Ella and Rhia are taking a well deserved trip. Ella has some past struggles and yearns for love. Her heart seems pure and full of hope. She has a mind full of fairytale love to me. I love her imagination!! Im reading and writing at the same time. Lol Ella always gives off supernatural elements to me. Idk why. Haha I would love that to be involved in this book but I doubt it. She Is just always so in tune with everything around her I feel. This book was sweet, funny, sesi, and fun and even had me tear up!!! Sweet crazy love. I recommend this book and so that kful for being on Nikila Rose's Street team!!! 💘💘💘

This is a brilliantly written start to 'The Triple Flame Trilogy' which had me downloading the next book straight away. The imagery Nikila Rose creates really takes you to beautiful Sicily, as well as picturing the characters clearly in your head. I love the main characters, even to the point, I was a little wary at the beginning, thinking this might just be a love story between two perfect people. But then...woah...the mystery hit and I was hooked (and this is just me because I love a good mystery and I love romance and need both to get me jumping at the bit). I love the steam coupled with the emotion in this book; it really had me rooting for both of them to come together and to have a head. A fantastic achievement for the author - thank you for the awesome read!

Readers, hold onto your hats. You are in for a wild ride. This is the first book in a trilogy and is Ella's story. Ella was introduced to us in Highland Escapade, Nikila's first published book. Sicilian Sunset takes on a wonderfully exotic, funny, exciting, page turning adventure with Ella. She saves a man from certain death and when he lays his eyes on her after she pushes him down he realises she is his "one"! He always expected to meet her one day and this was "that" day. Tiero is a drop dead gorgeous hunk of Italian manhood with more than adequate experience under his belt. The beautiful journey that he takes Ella on has her heart melting but ... Tiero has a darkness that has Ella questioning if 2 weeks is enough to give her heart completely to him. There are signs that she must take note of, signs that she has followed unquestionably all her life. Nikila Rose has a beautiful gift for words that make you giggle with joy, she brightens up the dullest of days with her quirky sense of fun and humour, she also has panty dampening scenes that scorch the pages with fire. I am sad to say this is a cliffhanger but so excited to see what happens in books 2 and 3.
