Mr. Crunch was amazing! This dark urban fantasy had it all. There were shifters, magic, a dark plot, and hope. The book comes with a trigger warning disclaimer that is warranted. Wells uses paranormal romance and urban fantasy in here to talk about the trauma that comes from abuse. There is an attempted suicide, off camera rape, and graphic descriptions of violence. The subject matter was approached in a unique way and shows that you can break the control your abuser has over you.

Something that I liked about this book was that Sydney destroyed her abuser. This isn’t a story about a prince rescuing a damsel in distress. This is the story of the damsel rescuing herself.

Sidney is trying to get away from a life of torment. Thinking the only way out is death, she's surprised to find maybe that's not the only way when she meets Remy.

The author gave us a great paranormal romance full of action and romance. Sidney was a broken and seeing her begin to heal with Remy's help was so satisfying. I loved that it was fast paced and you're not waiting several chapters for anything to happen.

Mr Crunch by Dreia Wells is a quick fast read packed with gems that makes you read on. It's two main characters are so easy to like and care about. Dreia sets the scene quickly and establishes what's going on from the start. I was hooked. I look forward to the next book by Dreia and can't wait to read what she writes next.

Loved it! This amazing story is about being beaten down and left in the dark. To rising up and finding the light.

This was a very emotional story. Even cried a bit when I was reading it. Remy saves Sidney in so many ways and helps her to truly start living her life. Sidney also helps Remy start living his life more. This is a very short emotional read but I very highly recommend reading it. Can’t wait to read more books by this author.

Mister Crunch was an entertaining, great first book to The Sandwich Shop series and I am excited to read more! Sidney was a character that I felt connected to and I followed along with every step of her story. She was a great character for a paranormal romance and I loved how Dreia wove her brokenness into the story and made her someone who had something to live for and had hope once she realized she didn't have to face anything alone. I loved how Dreia brought Remy in to be the light to Sidney's dark but did not make Sidney any less as a character. Dreia wove a story that was fast-paced and full of intrigue. Overall, a great story and a great read! There are some triggers that Dreia handled very well, but be aware of what they are before reading.

Sidney, running from an abusive past, finds sanctuary in a small town. When her past catches up to her, she finds herself making a choice that leads her to a new life, one she never dreamed of.
Remy has lived a bit of a lonely life, with a very small circle of people close to him. Life in the small town gave him a place to belong and ultimately to a life he never expected.
This is a sweet romance with some dark parts. The ending left me smiling and thankful!

Such an awesome story! It's almost like a small town romance with a side of supernatural beings and topped with suspense! Lots of great characters - Remy and Sydney getting together was perfection and their relationship with Bea made me smile :)

I really enjoyed reading this Novella. It really packs a punch in the feels. Be sure to read the trigger warning as some may find parts of this book distressing but for me it really makes a big impact on a situation that lots of people find themselves in and struggle to get out of. I think this is really well written. I can't wait to see what more might come from this series

I am a fan of Ms. wills, so I usually pick up any book I find by her. This short novella is less than 125 pages. It is a paranormal romance with an interesting plot. The characters are interesting and I enjoyed it.it’s not her best work as I did see a few grammatical errors and discontinuity, but overall I enjoyed it.

Great Short Story
I’m now a certified Dreia Wells fan. With each book she writes, I learn so much about the supernatural world. This story fuses the power of connection, with the evil darkness of some souls. It’s a page turner like a mug!!!

Really great read Amazon Kindle unlimited recommendation based off of this author one that I enjoy and have read multiple works of. I’m pretty sure I follow this author on Amazon and that’s how I was notified of this book very different but very very good! My paranormal urban fantasy readers, you know when you read a book in the details just lineup and match really well 10 out of 10. Honestly, I would not mind Reading more from this series in a branch off type of way. What happened to Josie how did she heal? How did she go on to live her life? What happens to the two main characters of the storyline and how they live their lives? The ending does go one year out, but just reading more all in all really really good!
