Rhaspe has built his life around keeping his sister hidden from his parents and the man they want her to marry. He pushed away his own fated mate to marry the woman his parents insisted upon - and then she rejected him for her own fated mate. The club he runs has many layers, all of which give him the money he needs to support his sister's hiding spot. But suddenly everything starts to unravel. His sister disappears without a trace and he needs his mate's help to find her. You know, the mate he rejected. Yeah, that one.
Cadence can find things because of her ability to see past events by touching objects. When her former lover shows up wanting her help to find his sister - the sister she had helped him hide - she wants to tell him to get lost, then he kisses her and she is the one lost. But she is not going down that road again. Nope. Really, she isn't. Help him find his sister and then walk away. Yep. Unfortunately for her, he is not her biggest problem. If only.

Amazing book with fantastic characters I’m hoping to hear more about. This story had me from the first page. Zoey is incredible bringing wonderful stories for great reading. A must read! ❤️📚👍

My God that was an amazing read!! Rhaspe rejected his Tsigo, Cadence, 5 years ago. Needing help to find his sister the only person who could help him is the one he hurt the most his Tsigo. Now that he was released from his arranged mating he was bound and determined to win her back. Cadence was not happy to see Rhaspe come waltzing back into her life after breaking her heart so many years ago. But it seems the mate bond is still alive and kicking but she's not sure she can trust him with her heart. But she agrees to help because she is needing funds to run from C before he comes to collect what's his. Amazing read that I highly recommend. Zoey Indiana is an amazing author who writes a great story. The characters are amazing and the shifters she introduces are always unique.
This story has a storyline that grabs your attention and keeps you entertained from start to finish. No cheating, no cliffhanger, and you get a HEA! What's not to love take a chance you won't be disappointed.

Rhaspe is an alpha Manticore who left his fated mate and has hated himself every since, for him it has been the longest years of his life. His parents have ruined his life as well as his sister Lyra, he had to kidnap her with her permission of course. Now it seems his sister is missing and he needs his mate to find her for him he hated to ask her for help but time was of the essence. Riley is trying to make ends meet with her gift as well as her business not knowing what Rhaspe was up to all this time. She is upset when her mate comes in and he knows that she is he tries to seduce but she is having done of it. She finally agrees to help find his sister ad it will cost him a bundle but before she can find her she has another case to solve and gets kidnapped by Cyrus an old nemesis and Rhaspe has no idea what has happened to her. The storyline and characters are very gripping. I read a copy via BookFunnel without obligation.

I've read a few books by Zoey Indiana (this book's author) and generally find them enjoyable. I rated this book with 4 stars because I liked the overall story telling. I was leaning towards 3 stars because the story, in places, felt a bit disjointed.
The character development is weel-done. Both of the main characters, Rhaspe and Cadence, have a lot of baggage they've hidden from each other even though they were fated mates 5-years ago. For a lot of bad or stupid reasons, they split and are now forced to work together. There is clearly a lot of distrust even as Rhapse is determined to claim the mate he previously rejected.
The world-view evolves through the narrative and we learn enough for the plot to make sense. The book is the start of a series and does set the stage for further adventures and misadventures.

Unclaimed Mate is fast passionate story of love, honor and family. After promising finding his fate mate and promising never to break her heart, Rhaspe did just that. Promised to another by the council, Rhaspe had to give up the one he was meant to be with for the honor of his family. Five years later, Rhaspe needed Cadence help finding his sister knowing he was the last person she ever wanted to see again. Cadence was facing her own troubles, the person who brought out her powers was calling in his debt for her.
This is a beautifully written story of love, fate and family. Rhaspe and Cadence bond continues to grow even though they continue to fight. Once they give in, they become stronger together than they were apart.

Rhaspe rejected Cadence, his Tsigo, five years ago giving into his parents demands that he marry the one they chose. Who later rejected him, when she found her mate. He runs a club that helps him support his sister, who has kept hidden from his parents, so they cannot do to her what the did to him. When his sister disappears he has no choice but to go to Cadence for help.
Cadence does not want anything to do with Rhaspe when he shows, her hurt her badly. She will help him find his sister and they are done. Except he did not get the memo, he decides he is not walking away this time, he is playing for keeps.

If you have never read shifter romances before you are missing out, because you need to read this one. Rhaspe and Cadence's story is fascinating. Rhaspe is a Manticore and Cadence is a human and his fated mate. Five years have passed since he last saw Cadence and she does not greet him with open arms. He gutted her back then and she wants nothing to do with him, but he needs her help to find his sister.
The storyline zigzags and keeps you captivated until the very end. A first-rate read from a first-class author.

This was a fun and well written story. I loved the by-play between these characters. It was intense and steamy - no matter what, they really couldn't deny their mate bond and feelings. However, mystery, suspense, drama and family swirl around these two as they try and find a way to a happy future. It was exciting and I couldn't help rooting for Cadence and Rhaspe. I'm really looking forward to the next book to see how things continue to unfold for them and the other characters in this world :D

I love these stories from this author. No matter what you know there will a happily ever after. This one wasn’t as funny as some of her others. This one had a more serious side at times and the humor was still there. I love the fated mates in this know when they meet but can try to resist it. For these two it was five years and a lot of denial. He believed he had to do what his family wanted even if that meant not having her. He will need to do lots of groveling to earn her forgiveness. But of course there is a lot more than just them as trouble seems to find both of them.

He crashes back into her life on a mission to save his sibling, and they both realise how much they need each other. Also there’s the mysterious and powerful Cyrus causing trouble throughout, he needs to suffer in the next book!

Although a short story, it certainly packs a punch. Cadence and Rhaspe have a history, one that she doesn’t want to repeat but he needs her help to find his sister. She’s not too happy to see him but the bond between them is strong gets even stronger when she’s kidnapped. I enjoyed this story and look forward to reading more.

This is Book 1 of Rejected by Fate story for Rhaspe and CADENCE. Wow this one will have you needing more drama and the fighting these two do because of Rhaspe and how he hurt Cadence. I loved how Cadence finds herself in trouble of her own making sort of. I can not wait to see what the next book holds in store for these two.

A quick, fast paced steamy paranormal read. This is the first book in this series Rejected by Fate. In this story we are introduced to Rhaspe and his fated mate Cadence who he rejected 5 years ago. When he calls on her for help years later the bond is stronger then ever and he is determined to not let her go this time. This is their journey to their happily ever after. I am looking forward to read the next book.

This is the beginning of the Rejected by Fate series by Zoey Indiana. Rhaspe, a manticore, and Cadence have a interesting story that is intriguing with many elements. The denial of their mate bond made for some intensity which lead to hot steam. In addition there is drama, suspense and mystery. This is a great introduction to this series and the secondary characters that could possibly have stories of their own.

This is a ten star read! You just fall in love with the characters! I can’t say enough about the plot…twisting and turning. It’s insanely good. Will I read more Zoey Indiana? Absolutely! If you haven’t read her work, you are missing out on some of the best prose in this genre! This one is a new series and I will be watching for the release of book 2. ❤️❤️❤️❤️.

I'm curious about Lyra but I expect her story will come soon. Cyrus may have escaped but I don't think Cadence nor Rhaspe are done with him now that they are mated and stronger together.

Rhaspe and Cadence get the chance to reconnect and learn more about each other. There's a lot going on with family issues for Rhaspe and Cadence has her little secrets too. A great ending for you die hard romantics!

I liked this book. The story was well written. The characters were well detailed and they shared great connection. I loved that Rhaspe was willing to show his mate Cadence that he would bend for her only. Loved the ending.

This is an extended version of Unmarked Mates. Even though it ends with a happy for now ending I can’t wait to read the next addition of this tale.
