Wow Maxim & Liz story was so very heart warming to read . I cried for them both. Oh there were parts that they both had me laughing as well especially when Gianna was trying so hard to get Maxim . Lol This whole series from The Brutal Captor to this one was such an exciting read. Love this series . ♥️♥️

book 1- A new series following on from Valentin and Aprils series. Maxim has risen to Valentins second in command, and Liz whose helping Aprils new clinic. Maxim and Liz had a fling but Liz cut it off without reason. Now they are stuck sharing a Villa in Sicily and in close proximity will the truth comes out from Liz?
book 2-Maxims and Lizs story continues, they are both staying at the Villa in Italy where they can't avoid each other forever. We begin to learn more on why Liz had to leave Maxim.
book 3- As they still fight their attraction for one another deciding to become FWB isn't their best idea. How long can they keep on pushing and pulling away? Will they ever get a HEA
book 4-With Max and Liz finaly getting to talk about their feelings towards each other, things look like they are on track, but with Max's job he will always be in danger, can Liz be with a guy who will put her in danger too?
book 5 - Max continues to find out whose behind the attacks but when it comes to light he'll be putting himself and Liz in more danger than ever! So these two ever have a chance at a HEA? As their push and pull between desire and trust comes to ahead!
this is a well written series and just gets better and better! You can't not love Max and Liz but want to lock them in a room and throw away the key for them to get it all out! filled with drama suspense steamy scenes and more!

It's hard to get over a fear for a loved one, especially when you are trying not to show your true feelings. Distance may help, but it may only make the yearning more intense.
These are two main characters' problems, and now that they have been fated to live under the one roof, well, it just got so much more difficult to keep a distance between themselves.

Sometimes, you just have to live in the moment. Worrying about what could happen, can make you miss the best parts of now!

Wonderful action filled romantic addictive story in a complete box set is about Maxim Kuznetsov who gets a promotion to Underboss after Valentin's uncle betrayed him and Dr. Liz Tremaine who is bestie to April, Valentin's wife. This second chance romance mafia story of their time while staying at April's villa in Sicily was a page turner. Each went to Sicily for a reason, Liz went to start a online clinic and Maxim went to ferret out brigadier Marco Rossi who is rumored of stirring up trouble in Sicily. Though they traveled to Sicily on different planes and they chose different places to stay, circumstances make them stay at April's villa. This togetherness brings them to reexamine their broken relationship along with the drama of who is causing the problems of dissension among the mob in Sicily. This series keeps you on you toes. Liz and Maxim had a hook up once before but she left him for no explained reason. He heart was broken and he could not forget her. Liz is a strong self assured woman who is not looking for someone to take care of her. She fears loving someone and them leaving. Maxim is the Underboss who puts his life on the line for Valentin every day. Can they over come there problems. This is a fast paced action packed book that tears at your heart string. You want the two of them together and for everything to work out. It is an exciting journey.

Maxim and Liz - he is the second in command of the Ivankov bratva and she is a doctor who's best friend with Valentin's wife and together they are opening virtual clinics around the world and she needs to go to Italy to open their first one overseas . Maxim on the other hand needs to go to Italy to see that the Ivankov's interest are well taken care. While their attraction to each other is powerful, Liz is not ready to be in a relationship with a mafia boss who lives and craves danger. This series will take you on a wild ride of action, suspense, danger and so much passion! I volunteered to review this amazing action packed series.

October 29, 2021Maxim and Liz have been a favorite couple of mine since I started their story. There is so much action,drama, love, and passion in each of these books! Maxim and Liz were friends when they were little, until there was a terrible accident. It was a long time before they saw each other. They were also completely blindsided by the fact Liz's father had offered her up as payment for debts he owed.
Maxim had secretly been in love with Liz almost all his life. Being a hitman and mafia underboss came with the clout to get out of one arranged and into another. With him.

I can honestly say this series is the best. I read each book in the series and devoted the story.
The characters Maxim and Liz are just so likeable even though Maxim is Mr Dark and Gruff. It is Full of dramatic situations and had all the intrigue and intensity a great Mafia relayed story should have.
The chemistry and story between Maxim and Liz really just had to be told. Such a fantastic series and I can most highly recommend it to you.

The Hunter and the Hunted is a five book second chance mafia romance collection which features Maxim, a Bratva underboss, and Liz, the woman he loves but is placed in danger. They travel to Sicily for different reasons but end up in a dangerous and suspenseful adventure while trying to stay alive. I highly recommend this well written and exciting mafia romance collection by Amber Adams.

This was fantastic, edge of my seat one minute, swooning the next!...
I won't tell the story but I can highly recommend this Mafia Bratva series which grabbed me from the get go & I got so invested I read from start to finish in one sitting. Dark & dangerous one minute, windows steaming up the next. This remarkable couple had a second chance in spite of the circumstances that made the heroine wary of commitment. I received an arc & this is my honest & voluntary review.

Perfect and worth 6☆
I adored reading about Maxim and Liz. I'm totally jealous of her. How she could have walked away from Max is beyond me... he is perfect imo. It feels like they are your best friends as you follow the adventure that is their relationship. Lots of Italian intrigue definitely add a few unexpected twists to the story.
There's plenty of time to dream about Maxim after you're done reading lol

Story is a mix of bratva danger, suspense and steamy romance. Although there is the intrigue and suspense of what is happpening in Italy that Maxim is trying to figure out whilst staying alive, there is the spark, chemistry and excitement wondering whether he and Liz will get their 2nd chance or will she ignore the connection and steam between them and leave him again. Their "journey" spans over a few books so it's worth getting the boxset. Overall it was an exciting read!

This gave me the opportunity to read books one and two. When I started reading the series I started with book three ARC. Although I loved the series from where I started until the end it was great to read the first two books for the back story. Great box set and you get to read it back to back avoiding the cliffhanger feeling.

I enjoyed this series, it's a second chance romance it's action-packed, with lots of drama, to go along with the romance. Maxim and Liz have a history until Liz walked away without telling Maxim why, Maxim's an underboss who is always putting his life on the line for his mafia boss. But his heart was broken when Liz walked away but he's destined to get her back. Will he succeed?

These were an awesome read. It will keep you captivated from the start. Maxim and Liz is getting their second chance. Even in the midst of all the trouble they get their happily ever after. I highly recommend this series to anyone looking for a great read

I Love HEAs
Maxim and Liz discover their love is a treasure worth fighting for, and between the 2 of them they get their HEA. Both Maxim and Liz got my admiration, but to say the man is walking sex is no overstatement. Enjoy.

WOW Just WOW
What a great Series. Liz and Maxim’s story was one of the most beautiful stories I’ve read. These 2 souls was destined to be together. This is a must read series. Amber Adams does not disappoint. Love Love Love this series

Action packed, sexy, engaging and emotional adventure filled with danger, suspense, and undeniable passion... an edge of your seat read from beginning to end and so hard to put down. Really enjoyed the characters I got to know on this journey.
