Me gustó la relación de los protagonistas y su desarrollo, aunque me habría gustado que el capítulo final o al menos un extra fuera sobre ellos ya de mayores, tipo 20 y pico de años, es que son muy lindos (T^T). Me dio mucha lástima Lin Ginhe con su mamá prefiriendo al hijo de su amiga muerta, incluso salvándolo a el y un cuadro (de la muerta) antes que a su hijo, habría estado bien que se hiciera cargo de lo que sus acciones hicieron. Uniéndolo con esto, sentí que se podría haber desarrollado mejor la trama con los padres adoptivos de Tao Xi (solo un poquito, no tanto porque son horribles), sobretodo lo de Yang Duole, sé que hizo cosas mal y que sus acciones tienen que tener consecuencias, pero siento que no era necesario que al igual que sus padres, fuera malo, y la verdad quería ver qué fue de su vida.

3.5 ⭐️ This one is full of drama, a bit angsty, and still heartwarming in the end. The MC and ML are two smart high schoolers stuck with unreliable adults, which forces them to rely on themselves and eventually, on each other. That shared struggle really strengthens their bond. The MC’s situation is pretty pitiful, but he remains strong, and in the end, he earns everything he worked hard for.

This was a heartwarming story about the MC overcoming his difficult situation in life to find happiness and love. The story follows Tao Xi, a poor student from the mountainous area of Qingshui County who is sponsored to attend the far away prestigious Wenhua No. 1 High School after he places first in the exams. His class has already been livestreaming classes from Wenhua HS in an attempt to improve the quality of education in the rural areas. It was in the livestream that Tao Xi first saw the ML, Lin Qinhe, for the first time and was so inspired by him that he started studying harder for the chance to go to Wenhua HS. Once he gets there, he becomes tablemates with LQH and slowly they get closer as LQH helps him out not just with his studies but a lot of other difficulties as well.

First things first, I do think the premise is a little bit out there. Not only do they half fall in love with each other through livestreams and letters, but the whole complicated situation of TX being switched at birth and the real TX being raised by LQH’s family is something I found hard to wrap my head around. The way it’s written, LQH starts taking an interest in TX due to all the letters TX wrote him , but it doesn’t seem in line with LQH’s personality to even start reading those letters to begin with. Plus it’s out of character for him to do so much for a complete stranger, to the point of using his money to sponsor TX to come to Wenhua High.
But once you get past the weird premise, the rest of the story is gold. There are many heartbreaking moments where TX feels a lot of insecurity due to his situation, and somehow LQH always notices and does something discreetly to make him feel better. For example, when LQH needs to go for 2 weeks of math/physics training and he realizes TX is sad about him being gone for so long, he posts 1-2 pictures daily on his WeChat, visible only to TX, so that TX can see what he’s up to and feel better. Or when LQH notices TX is feeling down after meeting his foster dad at the school, and he figures out from the security footage what happened and gives the foster dad a job so that he stops bothering TX. There are so many instances of this, to the point that even before they confessed to each other LQH already felt like the perfect attentive boyfriend.
The other point I didn’t like was how the author handled Yang Duole’s character. She could’ve gone either way with it, by making him a good guy or a bad one, and by the end it was clear he’s a morally bad character who is out to screw TX. At first I was neutral on him, since it’s not his fault he got switched at birth, but as his true colors slowly came out and he kept asking LQH to stop hanging out with TX, I started dreading what would happen when he learns the truth of his birth, and sure enough, it wasn’t pretty. Trying to ruin TX’s future career by accusing him of plagiarism is a pretty bold move; I’m so glad TX was smart enough to take preventative measures and incorporate his own name into the drawing in morse code.
I was also a bit surprised by how little YDL’s character was in the story unless it was necessary. I guess the author tried to explain it by the fact that his body is weak so he wasn’t always able to attend school, but given that he and LQH are in the same class for two months, we really didn’t see much of their interactions. I thought the three of them would hang out more together, but it ended up being a two-person world with just TX and LQH most of the time. I would’ve liked to see how LQH treated YDL before TX came, cause most of their interactions we saw was more like a stern father lecturing YDL to not be spoiled rather than a doting older brother, which is how the author initially described their relationship. After TX came into LQH’s life, it almost felt like LQH dropped YDL super fast, which I found a bit odd if they had really grown up together like two real brothers.
Anyways, here are some of my favorite moments and scenes from the book:
LQH getting jealous when he finds out TX has a crush on someone and sternly tells him to not fall in love, on the first day that TX decides to earnestly pursue him XP
LQH did SO much work to help TX study, from recording the English questions on cassette tape to buying study materials for him to making him a custom study guide

When he was most embarrassed and planned to follow Guo Ping’s intention to spend his life in Taoxi Bay, it was Lin Qinhe who let him see the light. Just like people who had lived in the bottom of a well since they were young, they would crawl out when they saw the moon that occasionally emerged from the mouth of a narrow well. He even said to himself that even if his fate was buried in the mud, he would make himself good enough that he was qualified to enter the sky and became the star beside the moon.

Lin Qinhe returned to his senses, smiled lightly, his eyes seemed to be softened by the moonlight. He slowly replied:

“I didn’t believe it before, but now I wish there was such a parallel universe. In that world, everything follows the original trajectory, you have always been by my side, we grew up together, and every year at Christmas, I would bring gifts to you, together with loved ones who love you, and say to our baby, happy birthday.”
Tao Xi’s eyelashes trembled violently. He firmly grasped the photo album in his hand, grasping the sixteen years of time, the sharp leather cover corner stabbed his palm, but he didn’t notice it.
He opened his mouth, but didn’t make a sound, as if he was mute. After working hard for a long time, he could only make a broken and small whimper.
Lin Qinhe looked at this person who was trembling and whimpering, his heart hurt like it was being pierced by a blunt knife. He wanted to pull the photo album with sharp corners out of Tao Xi’s hands, but Tao Xi held the photo album firmly in his arms, as if using all his strength.
Lin Qinhe had to stretch out his hand to hug Tao Xi, let him sit on his lap and gently hug him. He said with a dumb and hoarse voice:
“Sorry, I have missed you in this world for so many years, and owe you so many birthdays.”

Ah!!! I enjoyed it quite a lot! It has its flaws, but it is a light yet emotional read.
I really enjoyed the pacing of this one and the emotional depths the characters were given. I don't love how polarising some aspects of the "antagonist" were made to be, I hoped for a less childish villain, but that's just personal preference.
The emotional ride was worth it~

The story is wall paced and packed banget. Meski dengan pace like sinetron (kyk kata orang yg udah promosi ini ke sy). Indeed critanya tuh kayak FTV gitu. Orang pasti paham kalo judulnya dikasih "Putra yg tertukar". Premisnya sesimple itu, tp pengemasannya sanggup bikin emosi saya naik turun. (Kebanyakan sih kesel).
Banyak banget karakter yg pingin gw tampol, selain MC sama ML nya pastinya. MC itu pure banget dan dont deserve untuk tinggal di dunia ini, tp Qinhe (ML) is the only one who deserved to be with him. Aku rasanya pingin mrk bersama di dunia mrk sendiri, those asshle ppl can eat their own sht.
Omg aku tdk bisa selesai mengikrarkan bahwa " QINHE IS MY BEST HUSBANDO FROM ALL DANMEI I'VE READ" tiap kali aku baca ini, aku slalu berucap sendiri "aku telah menemukan sosok idealku". Sumpah Qinhe adalah sosok Gong yang unbelieveble to come true . Ga percaya aja kalo Qinge itu jauh dr kata Toxic. Taoxi (MC) so lucky , hidup dia yang sesalty itu bs didampingi Gong semanis dan sebaik itu, hidup dia langsung jd balance banget.
Dilain sisi Taoxi bener bener hidupnya penuh drama, tp dia sesabar, sedewasa dan sebijak itu (despite dia cmn anak remaja). Gw sebagai seorang kakak rasanya heart wrencing banget stiap perjuangan dia. Well develop jg. Bikin sy terharu parah.
Intinya crita ini bener bener bagus dan bikin fuwa fuwa and grain a salt at the same time. Rollercoster nya amat berasa tp ga ampe bikin tekanan batin, krn lepas dr skian dogblood. The ending put more warm feelin into ur heart.
Cmn skian pertanyaan2 ku blm terjawab. Tp biarkanlah, aku jg ga peduli. Yg penting masalah intinya kelar, dan Taoxi and Qinhe bahagia slamanya!

Trong chương trình dạy học trực tiếp thông qua màn ảnh của trường cấp ba ở các huyện nghèo kết nối với những trường có tiếng ở thành phố lớn, cậu đem lòng thầm thương hotboy trường. Vất vả lắm cậu mới trở thành người có thành tích học tập tốt nhất ở các huyện nghèo khó này, nhưng sau khi lên thành phố “du học”, cậu bỗng dưng phát hiện ra rằng người bạn từ thuở bé của hotboy ấy chính là người đã bị tráo đổi thân phận với cậu.

There are parts I love about the story, and parts that dragged. I thought the characters were beautifully created. I loved the ml, and I liked the MC as well when he was desperately trying to just live his best life.
I thought the author didn't properly explain Fang Sui, the person who started all this drama. Perhaps I have read too many rebirth stories, but this mysterious mother that everyone is obsessed with seems overly idealized, a bit fake, and a bit manipulative. Though her best friend is supposedly guilty, it almost feels like she was actually in love. And the boyfriend/fiancé who supposedly can't forget her. Her parents who feel eternally guilty for not letting her have her child (with a perfectly respectable guy...). How much she gets mentioned lovingly is how much skepticism I have towards this type of character. No one who runs away to a remote village to paint and have a child away from good access to healthcare, parents, or significant other (for what is probably a good 6-7 months without telling anyone) is being considerate of others or her unborn child.
On the other hand, the importance of giving a hand, but not taking freebies at face value, is a great moral that is woven throughout this story. The story also touches on the impact of depression, and dangers of trying to mask it; the unfairness of trying to make up to the dead with those alive; the dangers of turning someone into an effigy for someone or something else.

Oh my god where do I even start. The book was so interesting and short literally completed in such a short time.
The characters were so amazing. I love how they potrayed Tao Xi and Qinghe's emotions with their parents and everyone around them.
I remember when I read the backstory of how Tao xi was treated, i literally had to stop reading and rethink my own life. It was so painful yet so beautiful. And the moon motifs literally have my whole heart.
I m so happy Tao xi and Qinhe found each other. Please read this beautiful story, I bet you wont regret ♥️

Es la primera novela de algún autor chino que leo y estoy tan feliz!! Disfrute cada momento de la lectura y me sentía como una adolescente enamorada 💕 sin duda Tao Xi y Lin Qinhe estarán en un lugar muy importante en mi corazón. Espero que todas las demás personas le puedan dar una oportunidad a esta gran historia

ตัวเอกคนแรกคือ Tao Xi เป็นเด็กชนบท ที่โตมาแบบครอบครัวยากจน
(แม้แต่โทรศัพท์มือถือก็ไม่มีใช้เหมือนเพื่อนๆ) ตอนแรกเป็นเด็กไม่ได้ตั้งใจเรียนมาก
ขาดแรงบันดาลใจ เพราะพ่อแม่ก็ไม่ได้สนใจอะไรเค้ามาก จนวันนึงโรงเรียน
มีโปรแกรมเรียนทางไกล โดยได้เรียนเหมือนที่โรงเรียนแห่งนึงที่เป็นระดับเด็กไบรท์

แต่เค้าสามารถใช้เงินจำนวนมากลงทุนทำอะไรก็ได้ ไม่ต้องง้อพ่อแม่ พ่อแม่ไม่มาบงการชีวิต
แถมมีเลขาฯ ด้วย! แต่ไม่ใช่ว่าชีวิตเค้าสมบูรณ์แบบ เพราะแม่เค้ามีปัญหาทางจิตมานานแล้ว
เค้าก็เลยโตมาแบบค่อนข้างขาดความอบอุ่น เหมือนเค้าเฝ้ารอใครซักคนที่จะรักเค้าอ่ะค่ะ
ที่ชอบมากๆ คือ Lin Qinhe ใส่ใจ Tao Xi มาก ถึงตอนแรกจะเป็นแบบเหมือนเก็กใส่

พระจันทร์ในชื่อเรื่องน่าจะเป็น Lin Qinhe มองว่า Tao Xi คือดวงจันทร์ของเค้า
และพระจันทร์ดวงนั้นก็มาหาเค้าในที่สุด จริงๆ ในเรื่องนี้มีความโรแมนติกแฝงอยู่มากๆ
โดยเฉพาะ Lin Qinhe เนี่ย มีความโรแมนติกอยู่ในตัวเยอะ
ดราม่าเรื่องชาติกำเนิดของ Tao Xi ตอนจบไม่ค่อยชอบเท่าไหร่ คือก็โอเค
แต่จริงๆ ไม่น่าง่ายขนาดนั้น เรื่องนี้ทั้งเรื่องเล่าถึงเวลาที่ผ่านไปยังไม่ถึงหนึ่งปีเลย

Heartbreaking. A lot of angst. The goodreads synopsis is in chinese so I'll give a basic summary below.

This book made me cry a lot. The relationship dynamic started off rough but they're pretty cute together. It's a great read if you like a tearjerker and a coming of age (sort of?) romance.
