A world-bending writer has done it again. This time Taylor has written and compiled a group of his own excellent fantasy stories that keep the reader engaged while pulling them into worlds unlike any others. The twelve different plots are intricate, yet somehow resolved in 500 words or fewer. Some may make you smile, while others might make your brain hurt. Think Hitchcock meets Scott Lynch. Highly recommend it to any reader, especially one who loves detail but fast resolution. I couldn't stop at just one story. Finished the book in one read.
