I very much enjoyed this story. I am pumped for the second one, can’t wait.
The way the author describes the magical aspect of this tale is great. Could picture it perfectly. All the twists and turns had me turning the pages as quickly as I could to see what would happen next.
Definitely worth the buy and read.
Just as a side note: yes there are errors but it’s to be excepted of someone who is writing, editing, and publishing themselves.

A classic tale
Cassie and Benedict were always meant to be. However, the Fates intervened. What can one do but fight. There is a cliff hanger, bit ohhh the excitement!

I was lucky enough to read an ARC of HELL BOUND and thoroughly enjoyed it from start to finish! Set primarily in a rainy, supernatural London, it's a like fun mix of THE MUMMY, INDIANA JONES, and TOMB RAIDER with an extra magical kick. The world is complex in its magical hierarchies, and as an Immortal, Benedict finds himself at the center. Cassie is a hilarious, snarky, and loveable character with an impressive power at her fingertips. Between her current occupation thieving magical artifacts and her complex history, she definitely reminded me of Evie from THE MUMMY and a Lara Croft type of adventurer/ass kicking protagonist.
Myth blends with magical archaeology and sinister machinations for a creative and unique story—though it's a long one, it moves at a swift pace, full of twists and turns right up until the very last second.
Benedict makes for an intriguing hero and love interest; I'm so eager to learn more about his long, complicated backstory! I love a good dark, tortured, brooding hero. Cassie and Ben's undeniable connection weaves through the heart of the whole story, their romance both sweet and sexy from the first spark. They have great chemistry together.
I also have to give a special shout out to Cassie's friend Bash, who's such a fun comedic addition to the cast, but unexpectedly provides some of the enjoyable emotionally wrenching beats. Clever dialogue adds to the character development and the novel's quick pace. Magic infuses every part of the world here, employing everything from portal transportation to complex spell work or sigils.
While some of it feels familiar, HELL BOUND employs a unique spin on mythological aspects, its strongest thread. There's a lot of ground covered in the story, but even the answers lead to more questions and plenty more room to expand on the world and its cast of characters in the next installments. After the shocking reveals at the end, I'm eagerly looking forward to the next book in the series! If you're a fan of dark fantasy, mythology, and you're looking for a brand new, sexy, thrilling, and emotional paranormal romance, I highly recommend HELL BOUND.

Let me first begin by thanking Chelsea for sending us an ARC of her latest release, Hell Bound, Book 1 in The Underworld Series.
I really enjoyed this thrilling paranormal romance book.
Cassie, a 28 year old artefacts thief, and witch is thrown into chaos when she discovers an old journal, belonging to her deceased mother, has magically appeared in her home.
After an intense and life altering night out with her best friend, she ends up in the arms of a mysterious and terrifying man, The Immortal.
Benedict Black, The Immortal, a human cursed with long life and the inability to die, quickly jumps at the opportunity to help Cassie with her quest to complete her parent's work.
Along the way they face numerous deadly situations, fight side by side against those in power corrupted enough to cast the rules aside, and cling to the hope that they will come out the other side of it alive and together.
The connection between Ben and Cassie forms quickly, and despite the book's time-line being less than a month long, it is impossible to see how the two interact and not wish for the main characters to fall in love immediately.
This book is filled with thrilling action scenes, mythology, mystery, magic, the perfect balance between plot and spice.
I can't wait to read the next book!

Okay now where is book 2!!
I need more Cassie and Ben like now!
If you are looking for a book with fantasy, great world building, a kick ass badass MC, a compelling love interest, romance and spice to make you want more for days! I recommend picking up this book!
I cannot wait for the second novel (and I mean this literally I need it now 🤣).
Be warned this book ends on a cliff hanger (to which I am not a fan 🙄 and will sit pouting in a corner for the next bit because of).

Surprises

Hey all, just wanted to pop on here and let you know this is my first dip into the steamy realm of paranormal romance. There are witches, vampires, and all kinds of other supernaturals lurking in the shadows of this story. But more importantly there is a romance. Cassie and Benedict's story surprised me, so I hope it will surprise you too.
It's a big story and it's not over at the end of Hell Bound. Not by a long shot. There will be 3 books in this series. There are some trigger warnings though, so I've listed them here. I'm also kind of new to trigger warnings, so I apologize if there are any triggering events in the story that I did not note below.
Trigger Warnings: Drugs, An attempted assault, alcohol, and foul language.
It's a big story and it's not over at the end of Hell Bound. Not by a long shot. There will be 3 books in this series. There are some trigger warnings though, so I've listed them here. Cassie believe she is a normal half witch have human. And Ben is happily living out his immortal life at his club in his own world. What is it they say when true love finds you... Oh yeah it's going to be a wild ride.
Cassie is anything but normal and her parents who were murdered weren't who she believed they were. She starts out trying to unravel one mystery at a time but by the end of the book we have More questions then answer.
Ben is 700 years old and isn't giving up anytime. He has convinced himself that he is happy at his hotel/club in his territory and that's all he needs. Until Cassie and friends come into his life and then he rethinks what he needs.
This book ends on a cliffhanger but it's a spectacular one. I can't wait to read the second book in The series and see what Cassie and Ben get into and if they figure out all their in answered questions.

what a wild ride
