They said they'd love me forever. Body, mind and soul. That was a lot easier before I was burned at the stake and split apart into three separate pieces. With my supposed reincarnation wearing my soul around her neck, my soulmates no longer recognize me. To them, I'm an impostor. The villain. The witch hunter who gave me second life is a dead ringer for the one who took the first away, but we need each other. Him because he has a score to settle. Me because I have a life to take back. Two very different ends, but the means remain the same. Laney Cook has to die. If that makes me the villain of this story, so be it. I'll take back my soul and my men, whether they hate me for it or not. Buckle up, bitch. This wicked witch is coming to collect what she's owed.

Author's Approximately 34,000 words. This is the first book in a Reverse Harem series, where the main character doesn't have to choose between her men in order to get her HEA. There is eventual MMF content in this series.

Great introduction to a new series by River. Beatrice wakes up 300 years after being burned at the stake as a witch to find herself looking at a man who is the spitting image of the man who killed her. But Barnabas has brought her back to life a little bit changed. She is now a vampire-succubus hybrid without a soul. Well, the soulless part is not his fault but still.. It seems a powerful witch family made an agreement with one of Barnabas' relatives that allows then to give Beatrice's soul to one of their family members every generation. This was to keep Beatrice from coming back to seek revenge against the hunter family that killed her. It also means that Beatrice's vampire mates think the current soul- stealer is their long-lost witch.

Lots to unwrap here. Sullivan and Dimitri believe that the resurrected Beatrice is some kind of doppelganger and her association with Barnabas makes them doubly suspicious of her. As she starts taking classes at the magical academy where they both teach, she finds herself liking Barnabas more and her former mates less. But that doesn't mean she is not going to get her soul back and make them all sorry they doubted her. Stay tuned.

A witch burned at the stake. He last words, thoughts a promise that she’ll return to be with her two mates again. Skip forward 300 years or so and she’s awakened to a world that’s moved on and mates who are with a pretender. To say that Beatrice is not pleased might be the understatement of all time. To make matters worse she is raised by the descendant of the man who had her burned at the stake. She comes back not quite the same. She must work with her worst enemy or at least his descendant anyways in order to reclaim the life that was stolen both long ago and now.
The story is a bit on the darker side as revenge is the main character’s driving motivation. I find the relationship between her and Barnabas(the descendant) a bit odd. It jumps from hate to like very fast. I think the world building is quite interesting and hope to learn more in future books. An intriguing beginning I’m very much looking forward to what comes next.
I received an ARC from the author. This is my honest review.

I was all in on this story based on the blurb. After the intro, I was hooked. Nothing is stopping her, even death.

Unfortunately, things are so not what she expects when she finally wakes up. Taking back what is hers is definitely not going to work when she doesn't posess the one thing to prove who she is. This is definitely going to involve the long game. I enjoyed the characters and the confusion over Beatrice's appearance.

My only complaint would be that the story mostly set up the next story. Not a cliffhanger, but more of a serial - nothing really resolved, just to be continued in part 2.

With that being said, I still will definitely be tuning in for book 2.

This is a NON-SPOILER REVIEW of All the Good Girls Go to Hell by River Ramsey. This series opener is a quick read. I really enjoyed the read though I did want more back story on Beatrice being burned at the stake. But when Beatrice is resurrected, she finds herself in an awkward and unexpected position. There is a soul-stealer pretending to be Beatrice and her mates can't tell the difference. The story does shift in focus to the developing relationship between Beatrice and Barnabas and reads more like a prequel than a first in series. There is no resolution, but there is a set-up for the next book.

This honest and voluntary review was made possible by reading a copy through Booksprout.

This is such an entertaining story I loved it with Beatrice who was burned at the stake by a hunter now 300 years later Beatrice is brought back by the hunters descendant Barnabas. The world has changed and Beatrice only wants to find her mates but it doesn’t go as planned when she finds Dimitri he doesn’t believe that it’s Beatrice. Amazing story I loved it and I can’t wait to read book 2 and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.

Beatrice has been brought back to life, minus her soul, which seems to be worn around another woman's neck (Laney). Her men Sullivan and Dimitri, seem to believe that Laney is Beatrice reincarnated. Has Beatrice lost her men to an impostor? Will Beatrice be able to work with Barnabas (a descendant of her biggest enemy)? I loved Beatrice, she has plenty of sass and has the meddle to make her enemies quake, and I loved the steam in this story. I can't wait for the next book.

Even if though this is the first book in series, from the start I got this feeling I was missing a lot of the backstory. Especially about the man who killed the female lead. I don't think the small explanation at the beginning was. Was genuinely confused for the first half of the book. Then she slept with Barnabas despite loving Dimitri and Sullivan and supposedly going through of this so that she can be back with them? Well written but quite a lot of missing details.

Beatrice is a witch who was killed by a hunter named Jonas Hawthorne, leaving behind her two mates. Three hundred years later, she is revived by one of his ancestors, Barnabas. Now, she is a succubus and vampire added to the witch. When she seeks out her mates, she finds someone else in possession of her soul and men! She starts to attend the Academy where both her mates teach and where she starts a new relationship…only someone is trying to end her and Barnabas. Who and why? Book two will be out soon!

Beatrice is a really enjoyable fmc to read about and Barbaras is a total teddy bear of a hunter. I will say that I wouldn’t mind if Dimitri never gets his mate back, he can just stay far far away and be sad and miserable due to his idiocy. Sullivan is a maybeeee for me. We are left with an even bigger mystery so I can’t wait to read book 2!!

This story starts with a witch that gets burned at the stack but promises her mates that she’ll return! Now 300 years later she gets awakened and is agree as it seems her mates are with an imposter! Time has moved on and everything is different. But the imposter was raised by a descendant of the one that burned her. Now she wants her life back but how will it all happen and work out?

Love It

Barnabis and Beatrice are my favorite characters. I love the interactions between them. I also love how she pushed her other soul mates to the side until they start to act accordingly. As far as first in the series go, I absolutely loved everything about this book. The characters are hilarious, annoying and highly relatable. Great world building with some high jinx and chaos thrown in. Cannot wait for the next installment to the series. Highly recommend.

Loved this!!!
This book was definitely something I would normally read, and I’m so excited that I got the chance to read and review it early.
This story is different from other Academy paranormal romance I’ve read in the past. I loved every word of it and cannot wait to see where the story leads.

Love it

I'm dying to read the next book!!!! This was so sweet and not what I was expecting with the cover so demonic. I can't wait to see what happens next and to learn about this prophecy. I recommend this book to paranormal romance lovers. The villains are easy to hate, the questions are many, and the romance is steamy.

The story wasn't what I was expecting from the cover which is so demonic, the story is unusual, my one complaint is it wasn't long enough! I can't wait to see what happens next and to learn more about this prophecy. There's a little of everything from great characters, some of whom are villains you just have to hate, lots of questions to be answered as well as steamy romance

Definitely not what I was expecting. Lots of witches, vampires, werewolves, and others. This reverse harem romance is a little enemies to lovers and soon to be second chance lovers. This is the first book in the series. Can’t wait for more.

I saw that cover and wanted it so much, then I read the blurb and loved the idea. So it’s fair to say my expectations were super high and each and every one of them were smashed.

This is a sweet book with so much going on that I’m anxiously awaiting the next book it was fantastic such a great start to the series
