Damn that Emperor is a real piece of work! *shakes fist*



Storyline: When Ellisa opens her eyes and sees her young son, Leon, staring at her with eyes full of love and concern, she realizes that, by some miracle, she’s been given a second chance. In her past life, she thought making Leon Emperor was the only way to ensure his safety.

But if she had known Leon had never wanted the crown, or that laying a crown soaked with the blood of his enemies and beloved ones at his feet would mean he would take his own life before her eyes, she would’ve found another way.

In this life, Ellisa is determined to find a way that will ensure both Leon’s survival and happiness. This time, things will be different. I'll raise you well in this life your Majesty!~

ughhh, i am wholly OBSESSED with this queen and her children!!! and rohan, too… ahhh, i adore that guy. <33 for what it’s worth, i sincerely hope that they’ll end up together a good while BEFORE we reach the actual end of this story… but who knows? in any case, our girl’s absolutely SLAYING on her own, too! as if she’d need a man, pfft. i simply wish for her happiness, is all. can’t wait to see how things’ll progress from here! i know i’ll stick around either way.

P.S. i know this is some embarrassingly short commentary, but my brain’s currently blanking out and i’d rather say this than nothing at all. ugh, seriously!!! just know that i love this manhwa and everything about it. it all makes for a great reading experience.

edit: so, the story’s complete. things sort of went in a direction i didn’t expect, haha. we got an open ending! a positive one, but it still makes for an uncertain future in many aspects.

surprisingly, this is my first time reading a family oriented historical family manhwa ( did read a bit if who made me a princess but dropped it very early on).
This is acc adorable. I love the mother and son relationships in this book. In both lives, she strived to make the best our tvier circumstances, but she was learning from her mistakes in her 2nd life. Someone mentioned how depressed she is, and it's clear how deeply regretful and traumatised she is by her first life.

The children in this are so adorable, specifically Leon and ascensio, who are the main ones. They are so kind!! Elissa is such a good mom!!

Enjoyable manhwa about a mother given a second chance to be a better mother to her son. The most moving aspect of the series is her relationship with her son, Leon. The political warfare here is not the most compelling compared to other manhwa I've read with similar themes, but I like that the main character isn't a pushover. It's one of those series where the emperor seems to have no good qualities and the "romance" that led the MC to marry him in the first place was like a panel or two, so it creates a strange impression that she ended up married to a jerk and isn't all that concerned about it.

Anyway, not my favorite manhwa ever, but the art is nice and it's pretty entertaining.

The story of Mommy who was a strong, badass, cool and wonderwoman. She was the Queen! In her second life, she did her best to survive and love her two sons (Crown Prince and 3rd Prince).
Leon (her biological son), was cute, kind, and wise. He’s the center of her mommy’s life. My baby hedgehog was being loved by everyone except his own father.
The King was like a robot. He has either sympathy nor empathy. He was heartless and expressionless.
There was no romantic love here. This story focused on family love.

If you want to read about romance, this is not for you, but if you want to read about the love of a mother and what she will do for her kids, if giving a second chance, then this is for you.
The art is gorgeous and I would have giving it 5 stars but the last season was weird and felt rushed.
It is still a great read though.

not bad actually. i didn't expect to enjoy this one. it wasn't full of romance and focused on others which i didn't mind

i like the FMC. i don't like nor condone what she did in her first life, but i like her character nonetheless. my fav is ML tho hehe lol

I’ve read both the ongoing novel translation and the comic, both are good.
