Quick read, as it is just a collection of "quotes" that Francis Kong would like to share about the following: life, humanity, progress, future, success, happiness, hope, thinking, character, perspective, religion and death.
Hmm...
Funny how "love" is not there..
But then again, I guess it encompasses all.
:)
I think I liked and agreed to most of the quotes shared. For the others, it's not like I don't agree with them. It's just that the page could have used another, better, more apt set of words.
And since, I'm the ultimate writer (literally), I just have to put my comments on some of the pages.
Afterall, I guess it is what the other spaces are for.
: ))
I like the concept of the book, that when you flip the pages, it starts from a fully-eaten slice of watermelon, and then it becomes a whole slice again. And afterwards, it "slowly disappears" into the next "invisible" page.
It's learning and acquiring something that makes one "whole", and then it eventually shares that "wholeness" with others.
