The Boy Who Lived, The Chosen One, Harry James Potter. When Harry discovered that Sirius Black was his legal guardian, his life was flipped around. He finally had a parental figure and Sirius was willing to do anything for him.
Celestia Faith Black, daughter of the infamous Sirius Black, second best to Harry Potter. After discovering her father was innocent of all crimes, she wanted to get closer with him. But that tends to be a lot harder when your father favours his godson more than you.
By far the best fanfic I've ever read. Got so attached to this story whilst it was being written. A must read if you want a complex insight into the 'villains' side of Harry Potter.
this fanfic was so good! i think the author did a great job with building her version of the characters and the story line around the original books. in my opinion celestia is an amazing example of a good strong female protagonist and i really loved her character development. i also her relationship with theo was well written and i loved the ending and how the battle at hogwarts unfolded. i do think though that the story was really long and that maybe some events or plot elements could have been taken out or at least shortened. but overall i really liked it, this fanfic will always mean a lot to me!
3.5 stars. felt a bit cringey here and there, but overall, especially for a fanfiction, it was pretty good! loved celestia’s and theo’s relationship and the slowburn (shoulve been me actually but whatever 🙄)
well, this was cute! this fanfic is so nostalgic for me and i was so glad to reread it again. the only reason why i didn’t give this book a star rating is because quite frankly, the rating would be very low if i were to rate it as any other book and the author of this fic just does not deserve it. now let me explain, fan fiction used to be my biggest obsession back in 2020, but now that i’ve reread this one, i only now realized how hyper focused they tend to be on the boring, unimportant parts of the plot, like daily lives of the characters, which is cute for a few pages, but not when it goes on and on for chapters length. which of course isn’t the authors fault that this sadly, just isn’t my cup of tea anymore. regardless i still think the author did a great job at portraying how misunderstood, overly judged and overhated the slytherin house is, which i’m a sucker for. so yes, i do feel like this fic has a potential if it was edited and published, but it won’t be, so i’ll just say that i enjoyed it for all the nostalgia it brought me, but i will not be rereading it for the third time.
i quite literally praise this fanfic on every platform possible. the last chapter came out today and i CRIED, i’ve been following it for over a year, maybe two. the characters, the plot, just EVERYTHING is so well written and perfect, i could talk for days about it. i’m so sad it’s over, but the ending was perfect and i wish i could erase my memories and read it all for the first time again. it honestly changed my life 😭😭😭
I’ve waited until I’ve finished the story to write a review so here it is:
This is one of the most well written pieces of fan literature I have ever read. It has brought out some of the strongest emotions in me, from laughter to tears and everything in between. From fresh perspectives of a well loved series and its universe, to a deep imagination from this writer. I have fallen in love with these characters and the intentional way that they were written to truly understand their thinking and the inner workings of their mind. It is clear from each sentence, how much this story and the imagination means to the writer.
I could not recommend this story any more, for it is one of the best things I have read in recent years, fan literature or otherwise.
(I recommend this for both Harry Potter fans and non-fans alike)
Such an amazing book I don’t even know where to begin. I love the premise of flipping the “good” and “evil” characters and adore the depth that went into all the characters, how complex they are. I cried and laughed so many times throughout this story and wish I could read it all for the first time over and over again.
The slowburn, slowburned PERFECTLY and I’m in love with Theo & Celestia’s story. I absolutely adore the amount of plot we got in this book too & how although it is a love story it is so so much more.
This would’ve been given 5 stars from me, however the grammatical errors, typos and spelling mistakes brought it down to 4 stars. Especially at the beginning of the book, it felt like a tough read until someone told me to give it a second chance. If it was proof read & the errors were edited out in the future, this would be a solid 5 stars from me.
the best fanfic i’ve ever read, after reading this i couldn’t read another theodore nott fanfic. this fic is a treasure i can’t put it into words how much i love this. when i started this, i couldn’t go a day without reading at least one chapter. it’s written gorgeously, has an interesting plot, i love how she wrote the characters. chefs kiss, i will wish for eternity that i can read this for the first time again.
One of the best story’s i have ever read, all the emotions, the best plot and it wasn’t all rainbows and butterflies, i have no idea if this author is going to write anymore books but if they do i will start reading in an instant
