Celeste is a tease… Good thing Geoff has stamina and patience for days.
I wasn’t always a tease. Not even close. Once upon a time, I thought my body was nothing more than a weapon or a means to get what I wanted. I may not have been a prostitute, but I wasn’t far off. But those days are long behind me.
Now, I know the truth.
My body is strong. It is a thing of beauty, even with all its curves and flaws. I have more worth than what a man is willing to exchange for access to it. But most importantly, my body houses a heart that refuses to be crushed.
I swore I’d never again give away what should be earned. Not for any man.
But then I met Geoff Bello. Famous drummer. Even more famous party boy. He wants me at first sight. Much to my surprise, I find I want him, too. But he’ll have to catch me first. As I let him get closer, I learn it’s not just me he’s chasing. He’s got his own demons to contend with.
Let the chase begin.
Chasing His Brat is Book 2 in the Rock Hard, Love Harder Series. It can be read as a stand alone, but might best be enjoyed after reading book 1, Protecting His Brat. As always, there is no cheating, extra heat, and, a spectacular HEA.
Woo hoo, Brandy Ayers is back, and better than ever. If you haven’t read a Brandy Ayers book, then you are definitely missing out, pretty sure she is one of the best kept secrets that every reader should know about. Love her books, and she came back rockin it, pun intended.
Geoff aka bucket boy aka bum, is a famous bad boy drummer in one of the biggest bands, and he just so happens to be at the subway station when he sees the girl of his dreams, Celeste aka pink lady aka Pinky, that shoots him down. But fate doesn’t stop there for these two soulmates, he sees her again two days later because she is the make-up artist for his band for the day. And this starts his chase to get the girl of his dreams.
Safe read, with a bad boy drummer with a heart of gold that will steal your heart, especially in epilogue 3, and his sassy make-up artist who makes him work for it. Loved these two and their chemistry, so much insatiable heat, especially with his dirty talking. These two were definitely soulmates, that had my heart, and get each other in a way that most people couldn’t understand or relate to. They both had rocky pasts, are working to change their paths, and now they get to do it with the support of each other. Three heart warming, and a bit teary eyed epilogues and a hea. Such a feel good and heart warming book. Welcome back Brandy Ayers, and thank you for this beautiful read.
I was shocked to see that Brandy Ayers had a new book out! It's been forever! This was a pretty angsty read though. Both characters went through a lot in life. Both had crappy upbringings. Unfortunately, and this is what I despise most in books, they were both very promiscuous before they met each other. Both using sex as a weapon and a way to numb pain. Given that though, I wasn't AS upset as I thought I would be. For once...an author actually put the man AND the woman on the same playing field when it comes to their past sexual history! I'm not saying it was great...since they both had TOO much history...however...for this read...it made sense. It was a good book. I recommend it. I'm hoping it doesn't take as long for another one of her books to come out AND I'm hoping that the two main characters are possibly DV's! The trope I love the most! :)

Geoff and Celeste were good together. Sure, at times they were a bit much, but it fit for their story. And Geoff truly redeemed himself here. Knowing what led to his sobriety was heartbreaking, but solidified just who he was at his core. And neither of these two had OTT drama or nonsense while finding their way together. If you’re looking for a smooth ride with honesty, brutal truths, heat, and definite happiness to be had, this is definitely for you.
This book was great. The story of Geoff and Celeste is an amazing one. She is working on the set as getting ready to get her make up career started and sees Geoff. She plays hard to get since she has had a rough life growing up and wants a meaningful relationship. Geoff is out of rehab and trying life as sober as can be and really hasn’t even noticed the women until Celeste comes. Then it’s game on. They talk and he chases for awhile then in 24 hours stops texting or calling. That’s when Celeste knows she’s wants him more than ever. When he knocks on the door and sees her crying he’s so upset that he caused that for her. One thing leads to another and they begin a beautiful relationship and start having a great life.
When Celeste sees a bum drumming for money in the subway she is distracted enough that a thief steals her bag so when the bum offers to help she gives him the brush off. Geoff is no bum he is actually a famous drummer who hasn’t been back to playing since his sobriety but he fights his addiction every day. Geoff decides right then that he isn’t going to let Celeste get away that he will chase her but Geoff isn’t the only one with demons as Celeste is still fighting hers. Together finally they begin to work through their problems to find a clear path to the end, I really loved the additional epilogues giving even more insight to the story.
Geoff and Celeste are two characters that have battled through so much in life. The recovered drummer and the make up artist. These two are vulnerable, likable and work to get to a relationship. I enjoyed both characters and their story. Well written rocker romance that I’m volunteering to leave a review
Chasing His Tease is book two in the Rock hard, Love Harder series and is Celeste and Geoff's book. I absolutely loved this book so much. These characters, especially Geoff are raw about their struggles and how their past has shaped them. I definitely recommend that everyone read this vook. It is so good.
Always good to see the hot male rockstar being the one to chase the girl. The instant attraction, the way she makes him work for it makes for a fun, sexy read!! Geoff and Celeste make for the perfect fun pair !!
A couple that fits and reads oh so good. Not your your sweet everyday couple this books rocks (pun intended). I would read book 1 first but it’s not necessary. Geoff and Celeste have great chemistry and their journey to find true love was an enjoyable read.
This book was really good. I liked how the h learned that her body meant something special. The chemistry was really good. The story was really good. The cover pulled me in but the story kept me engaged.
Although if I'm being honest, I haven't actually finished it and I'm not sure I will. Not because it's a bad book, but because it's got 3 epiologues that litterarely make up 16% of the book, and I just feel like it's already done and just being dragged out.
Another great book by this author. I loved the main characters, they are perfect for each other and complement each other. Fantastic read and highly recommended.
Geoff and Celeste had some crazy chemistry all through this book! I loved ready about them and sometimes these two were a lot but that’s how they click!!
I absolutely devoured this book! Celeste and Geoff both looking for redemption in their own way. The storyline was fantastic! The deep discussions were on point. Highly recommend!
I really enjoyed this book. Celeste is one lucky girl to be chased after by Geoff. That man is very tempting but he gave Celeste what she needed to be his.
Love at first sight is what Geoff sees, but Celeste makes him chase her and earn their love. They both come with bagges but are better for it. He chases only to win the girl and an everlasting love. Great series.
This story left me breathless. Rockstar vs. Makeup Artist. Loved everything about them. Their pasts are not pretty but together they can tackle the future. I loved the sexiness between them, and the overall story melted my heart.
I loved the stories this author creates and if you have never read one, give this one a try. It is short, easy to fall into and a wonderful way to sample her writing.
Geoff & Celeste were meant to find each other, they just fit and the chemistry was off the charts. I liked that they both had their demons and they both had their dreams. I liked watching them grow, both individually & together. It was refreshing to see that there wasn't a lot a drama going on in this band, they were loyal and encouraged each other. The epilogues made this one!!!
