Quick, stalking/spying Santa story

I love when I read a book that has a celibate, stalking H, and that’s what we get with Danny.

Danny sees Delia across his college campus and wants her; the problem’s that he has college goals and is pursuing Harvard Law and doesn’t wanna get distracted. So what does he do? He prevents any other man from getting his girl 😈while also remaining celibate👏🏻. Don’t worry- he’s not letting himself go- he’s gonna work out his sexual frustrations at the gym 😉 all in preparation for the perfect time to get Delia.

When Delia’s sorority hires her a male str!pper for when she’s left alone during the holidays, he decides his time has come…
And ohhhh does it come 🥵🔥. This book is short, but jeeeezus, the smexxy times are scorching. Danny makes sure to take care of his woman, and he’s VERY dedicated at it 😅.

Danny’s so OTT 😂. He’s quick about marking his territory; he is OBSESSED and no one else will get his girl 💁🏻‍♀️. Gah. I loved it.

Of course, I wish it was longer. We get a proper HEA with two epilogues. Loved it

This was a quick and fun little novella. No angst, no drama, with some Christmas flavors. If you like possessive heroes, with some stalker and OTT tendencies, and a heroine who is sweet but who's able to find her confidence, I'm sure you will enjoy this little story.

Danny was walking on campus the first time he saw Delia. He immediately fell in love with her, but he was so busy getting into Harvard (perfect application; great grades, high score LSAT, community service, and extracurriculars) that he couldn’t make anything happen between them. He knew he didn’t have time for a girlfriend for about two years so, with the help of his best friend Leland, he prevents Delia dating other men, keeping her single until he (Danny) had the time available to properly date her.

Delia is staying late during Christmas break to help grade papers. Her sorority sisters ordered a stripper for her to spice up her night. Delia’s best friend, Olivia, told her boyfriend, Leland, who lets Danny know. Danny is beside himself with anger but he comes up with a plan. Calling the place of business for the stripper, he cancels the event, planning on showing up himself.

What follows is a night of passion and confessions of love.

I enjoyed my time reading this novella. It’s a feel good romance, no third act breakup here! I loved that our hero and heroine were on the same page, each totally committed to each other. I only wish this was a full length novel because I could read about Danny and Delia for hundreds of pages.

I loved Danny and Delia… we meet Delia in Kiss me, Baby which is part of the Vegas series, when he dad finds his match. Now it was her turn and it did not disappoint. Danny and Amelia were perfect for each other and came together at the perfect time.

Another over the top Alpha who immediately falls for a girl because she is hot. Because he is not ready to approach her, he spends 2 years threatening every male interested in her. He stalks her until her is ready. When they finally bang... he magically makes her come twice even though they r both Virgins.

If you are new to the genre, maybe this is hawt. If not... you will recognize all of this.

Short, sweet, and a whole lotta filthy. Just the way I like my Fiona Davenport books. Danny took one look at Deliah and knew she was it for him. But he had goals he needed to achieve in order to provide for Deliah and give her the life she deserved. So for 2 years he stayed away and kept every other guy away. Little did he know when she showed up on her doorstep in a Santa costume, Deliah wanted him just as bad.

Danny knows the moment he sees Delia she's the one for him. His body, heart and soul are pulling him to her. She is worth the wait though. He needs to get his life aligned so when they can be together he can focus on her. But can he wait?

A good read from Fiona Davenport. It's not my favorite of their books but was still good none the less.

The few things that cost it a star for me:
1) Male virgin who seems to know exactly what he's doing in bed
2) He's obsessed with her for two years so much so that he's stalking her and keeping men away from her but he holds back from meeting her for school. Meh.

Other than that, a good, hot read.

I didn’t trust the mischievous glint in my best friend’s eyes. “What are you not telling me?”
“That’s for me to know and you to find out,” she tossed over her shoulder as she dragged Leland out of my room, leaving me to wonder what kind of mischief my sorority sisters had planned.

I was kind of hoping the 'mischief' was a little more taking the place of the stripper and not just giving in as soon as she opened the door! but it was an easy read. I do like a good 'I've pined for years' premise!

This was cute. It was a 'instalove' type situation, I'm not really a fan of that trope but it did have a basic story line. I don't think i have ever read anything by this author if i remember correctly, i'll check out some of her other books. It served it's purpose. Danny sees Delia across campus and knows she’s his one but he has dreams of Harvard Law and can’t let anything distract him. His best friend, Leland says he will date her bestie, Olivia (their story is in Blowing His Horn), to get the scoop on his girl. Danny is successful in keeping guys away from her for a year and a half while he remains focused on his studies. Everything changes when Leland tells him Delia’s sorority sisters have gotten her a stripper Santa for Christmas. There is no way he’s allowing some other guy near her, especially a stripper. He calls and cancels the stripper and gets a Santa suit to be her sexy Santa. She has seen Danny around and has been interested in him too so when she opens the door to his ripped body in the Santa suit she’s all in. Their first time is hot, dual virgins, lots of dirty talk and he tells her she’s his forever. When the original stripper shows up and tries to force his way in Danny punches him and they send him running. Epilogues with him meeting her parents and six years later with them married, living in Vegas, Danny done with law school, and expecting their first child.
I liked both Danny and Delia, was surprised at how blasé she was about Danny’s interfering with her dating life and his stalking. Looking forward to Leland and Olivia’s story.

Wonderful, absolutely love this one! Short, sweet, and an easy read.

Danny sees Delia across campus and wants to know who she is. For two years he keeps other guys from going out with her, he wants to be with her. He needs to get accepted into Harvard Law first before he make her his. Delia knows who Danny is, she asks her best friends boyfriend, Leland. Who is also Danny’s best friends lots of question about Danny. When Danny finds out that her sorority sisters are sending her a male stripper because she has to stay on campus for winter break that’s it for Danny. He call the company and cancelled the stripper then goes to a costume store two hours away to get a Santa outfit. He shows up on her doorstep and she can’t take her eyes off of him. When they both find out they wanted each other for two years they begin to kiss. He takes her to her bedroom and strips her down and pleasures her. He tells her he’ll be gentle and doesn’t want to hurt her. He enters her slowly, little by little. He tells her she is already his but once he takes her, he is never letting her go. She asks him if that means he is hers also. Afterwards they collapse on the bed, he tells her it was his first time too. He draws her a bath so she isn’t so sore and puts her in. He gets a phone call from his friend Leland and leaves her to soak. When he’s finished he joins her in the tub. After a nap and several more orgasms he tells her he’ll make her food. When the door bell rings, Danny goes to answer it and Delia tells him she has it. A man in a Santa suit is standing there. She tells him the appointment was canceled, he tells her he remember her from class and wanted to give her a present, free of charge. Danny goes flying at him and punches him then tell him to get out. They tell the guy to leave and he won’t be pressing charges, their story won’t match up. Danny carries Delia to the couch and she tells him she wants nobody else. He thrusts into her with powerful movements, overwhelmed her by pleasure. This time more intense as though their connection deepened. Danny accompanies Delia home on spring break. He has plans to talk to her father. They are greeted by her step-mom, Amelia. Delia’s dad, Zack comes out and hugs her then shakes Danny’s hand. They go inside and talk while waiting for her siblings to come home. A year later they have their wedding, they decide to wait to have kids until they are settled. Six years later, they go to Delia’s parents home for Christmas when she goes in the bathroom. She realizes she is late and doesn’t know how to keep it from Danny until she takes a test. When they get back home she uses the bathroom and takes the test to him. She tells him she has a present for him and hold out the stick. She tells him she didn’t look at it she wants to look with him. He carries her to the bed and they look at the two pink lines, they are both happy at the results.

Unwrapping His Package, part of A Filthy Dirty Christmas series, was about Delia Parker and Danny Holland, both sophomores in college. Danny was on the fast track to becoming a law student at Harvard, while Delia was a communications major.
The first moment that Danny laid eyes on Delia he knew she belonged to him and no one else. He didn't introduce himself to her for two years. He had no time to devote to a relationship since he was so focused on getting into the law school of his choice. However, he made certain that no other guy so much as sniffed in her direction without his knowing about it and sent them packing with their tails tucked between their legs.
With Christmas break approaching just before his final semester, Danny began making plans on how to get close to "his girl" Delia. But his plans changed abruptly when he heard what her sorority sisters planned to gift her, and all bets were off and he took matters into his own hands.
When they finally got together and the truths came out, from both of them, she was more sad than angry at his machinations over the two years they'd lusted after each other. Sad for all the time together they had missed out on.
This was a short, but sweet romance with only a touch of angst and drama. There wasn't any emotional rollercoaster ride, nor was there any push/pull between the two main characters. They had little to no interaction until nearly the end of the story. While they both knew who the other was, and their best friends had been dating each other for the two years they lusted after each other, they had no connection whatsoever, which made the reader wonder how they developed feelings for each other so fast.
There wasn't a lot of backstory (unless you've read the book Kiss Me, Baby, which was about Delia's father), so it was all about how Danny had seen Delia across the quad, got obsessed, and possessive to the point he and his BFF scared off any other potential boyfriends for two years...and then when things looked to be going south, he FINALLY stepped up and met/bedded her. Yeah, just a bit too far-fetched for belief.
It was fun to read, and it was over almost before it began, but it was worth the time spent reading it. However, I couldn't give it more than a three-star rating because it just went too fast with them hardly knowing each other.

These are short novella romance books with steamy bits.. These books are wrote by different authors in this series.. you will find dirty talk, a naughty side, Sweet Hero's, happy ending and more in this series.. This is the first book i have read by this author and it was a good book

This book follows Danny and Delia.. Its a Campus Romance, sweet Romance, fast read, a bit steamy, sassy characters, Virgin Trope, Christmas theme and a happy ending.. [ I would give this book 3.5 stars]

Danny is wanted to get in to his dream law school so he has been studying a lot in Campus for his dream job, He is smart, sassy, funny and knows what he wants, He likes looking out for his friends and Dalia, He likes dirty talk, He has been in love with Delia for years when he first saw her on Campus but could not say anything because he needed to study but he made sure she was safe, He has a best friend called Leland and its so sweet to see that they will look out for each other and also they are like brothers, He falls hard for Delia

Delia study's a lot at campus but she also helps grade papers as an assistant to one of the teachers, She is sweet, shy, Caring, a Sunshine feel and she knows what she wants, She has had a big crush on Danny for years but never told anyone, She has a best friend called Olivia and they look out for each other a lot, She falls for Danny more once she gets to know him better

I don’t know, man. I don’t know.

This entire book is on the premise that Danny instantly falls in love by just seeing this girl Delia across the campus in college, but he can’t go over and ask her out, because he has to focus on his plans to get into Harvard Law.

So he stalks her for two years, his bestie even gets into a relationship with Delias best friend to keep tabs on Delia.

And this is not marked as a dark romance?

Come on. His best friend is a straight A student, both Delia and Danny work hard for their grades and I don’t believe a relationship would have torpedoed their grades in a significant way.

Especially because Danny working out all the time (because of pent up sexual frustration apparently) and stalking (including keeping her from relationships by intimidating potential guys) takes up time and brain power as well. Even more so than actually asking her out and spending time with her I might add.

Also. If he is so damn worried about his grades, extra curriculars and reputation …. Why the hell does he punch the first guy that hits on Delia instantly, knowing full well this stunt could get him in trouble?!

So. Yeah.

Base line, I wouldn’t want to be represented by Danny in court because damn is his logic flawed.

But the smut was fine. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Quick, steamy, spicy and sexy

This is insta-love 2 years in the making.

Danny and Delia attend the same college. They don't meet in actuality for a while but each is attracted to the other. Danny has gone to great lengths to acheive his dreams and to keep Delia single (not ok in real life for sure, but this is fiction).

When he finds out other plans have been made for Delia by her sorority sisters, well his well laid plans get changed in a hurry.

Delia is oblivious to what Danny has been up to but has had a crush on him for quite a while, so when he shows up on her doorstep as a stripping santa, well who is she to say no.

Needless to say things escalate from there pretty quickly and they get down to the good stuff. Once the good stuff happens, well love quickly follows.

I know a lot of people won't like this work. The insta-love, the stalkerish behavior, probably the sexiness either. But I'm good with it and thorougly enjoy it. But I'm good with things in fiction I'm not ok with in real life.

If you can suspend disbelief and just roll with it this is a fun, quick and sexy read. I recommend it for the fun.

Unwrapping His Package is a splendidly cute short story. I've enjoyed every Fiona Davenport book that I've read and this one includes all the everlasting love, OTT men, and steamy sweetness that all their books seem to have, with a dash of christmas-y fun.

It's love at first sight when hardworking pre-law student, Danny, spots Delia on campus one day. It's not the time for a relationship and he wants to give her his all, so he determines to wait for a couple years. He keeps a close eye on her and is counting down the days until they can be together. When he catches word that Delia's friends have arranged a Santa stripper to surprise her over winter break, he quickly decides to forgo his plan and show up at her door all dressed up as a sexy Santa.

I enjoyed Danny and Delia's cute story and I plan on reading about their friends, Leland and Olivia. If you want something short, sweet, and provocative for Christmas--give this book a shot.

I'm buddy reading the Filthy Dirty Christmas books with Michelle as they come out this year. For our mini reviews we're asking 4 questions...

(1) what did you like/dislike about the hero? Ok he's a stalker and unlike the stalker book last week (yeah, that's a theme apparently) this did not come off sweet and protective. It bothered me a lot because he spent 2 years - TWO YEARS - keeping her from relationships.

(2) what did you like/dislike about the heroine? Didn't really get to know her, honestly. I feel like this book was about him and his obsession and she just fit into it.

(3) how would you rate the romance/steam factor? Another virgin sex story, which I was over before I started reading this series and now I'm really over. What's with the bath after the cherry pop?

(4) overall rating and why? I gave it 2 stars because I liked it enough to keep reading (unlike Michelle), but I wasn't into this one at all.

This was just ok. I felt like we don’t get to know the heroine much, just the hero, and even then he’s not lovable. These are also really young characters (starts as sophomores in college) which made them hard to relate to. Finally, they were both virgins, and if I remember right, she’d never even been kissed before.

I get that romance books make sex go smoothly, and they don’t write about how the characters cannot get the condom wrapper open or other awkward but real things because they interrupt the flow. But I prefer realistic sex. This book had perfect sex and tons of orgasms despite no one having done it before or having any real experience. And of course the man could hold off as long as he wanted despite his virginity, and she basically came on command. It stood out as unrealistic and made the sex scenes less enjoyable for me.

Albatross’ Astounding Recommendations continue with this random book found on KU

This was completely ridiculous OTT “fluff” (read “smut”) that was cute enough for what it was. However, the premise annoyed me. Our hero sees our heroine on campus and falls for instantly - ok good. However, then he spends years approaching her because he is focused on getting into Harvard Law.

Still … because they are meant to be together he ensures that no guys will date our heroine. So she is ghosted for years because of our hero. This kind of made the premise sour for me. The rest of the book is what is promised - our hero dressing up as sexy santa (don’t ask) and finally meeting out heroine.

Some horizontal mamboing and then they live HEA - sure whatever. I am still annoyed at the fact that he put her through years of angst. Nope

2 stars - MEH!!

A fun Christmas love story

Ok, you're going to wonder why I say it's a fun love story. Danny, a determined young man, comes from a large family. He's very driven for such a young man. He graduated top of his class, education minded and wanted to be a lawyer. Two years into college, he saw Delia across the quad and fell in love. For the next two years he studied and worked out to fight his physical attraction to Delia. He threatened any male that tried to talk or date her. What he didn't know was she felt the same for him. I don't normally read books involving high school or college kids but this was a very good book. They both seemed to be older in my mind. Read how their story goes. I enjoyed reading it and hope you will as well. Written by Cindy :)
