**Don’t worry, loves, these are still packed with the heroes you crave and the HEA’s you deserve!
Paxton “Pax” Frost (37) was in the marines with his best friend Angelo. When they got out, they opened up a garage together. One day, while at Angelo’s house, Pax saw a picture of Angelo with his sisters, the youngest one, Nori, stealing his heart.
Two years later, at the Vega’s house for Thanksgiving, Mrs. Vega noticed that Pax and Nori were standing under the Thanksgiving mistletoe (lol). Encouraged to kiss, Pax gave into one of his secret desires… he kissed Nori.
North “Nori” Vega (24) has been thinking about that kiss that made her knees weak. She’s noticed Pax, and calls him her brother’s “hot friend”. She wouldn’t mind spending more time with him but she doesn’t think that she’s his type, thinking Pax dates the beautiful women of the world.
But Pax is head over heels for Nori. He’s willing to risk his friendship, and his business partnership, to have her.
I loved this novella! A big Mexican family always warms my heart. Especially when there’s a meddling mother, and funny traditions.
5 Stars!!

Romance trope: best friend's sister Series: A Filthy Dirty Christmas Length: 81 pages
Plot: Pax has been in love with his best friend's sister, Nori, ever since he saw her picture on his friend's wall. He's trying to respect the bro code, but it's getting tough. Nori has a crush on the older Pax but doesn't think he'll ever go for a girl like her. Secret Santa is a little more fun this year, but will a misunderstanding derail the whole prospect?
Commentary: Nori was a little frustrating; she never gave Pax a chance to explain. I understand where her insecurities came from, but she made a lot of assumptions and rolled right over him! She's lucky he was so persistent. Oh, and that she had a good neighbor. I did like the ending though - Thanksgiving mistletoe!
Merry Christmas and Hello to a naughty Santa. Get ready to get your holiday bells jingled with Pax and Nori. Pax has known since the moment he saw her beautiful face in his best friend's family photo that there was something that pulled him to Nori. Now she has returned home and is more captivating in person than her photo. What does he have to offer this beautiful young woman? Nori has admired the friend of her older brother and she knows there is interest now all she needs is a bit of mistletoe and a wonderful meddling family! A short, sweet, sexy holiday insta-love romance! ~~Michele McMullen ~~
So much to love about Pax and Nori's romantic journey, but the repetitive profanity soon became tedious and annoying!
I really loved Pax's determination not to let anyone or anything, stand in his way as he pursued the woman he loved. Even if he had to endure a painful punch, in the side, from Angelo, his best friend and Nori's over protective brother! Lol!!!!!
But to see what happens to them, 20 years in the future, was a really nice touch!
For short steamy, extra spicy, novellas, this book deserved 3.5 steamy stars. It was definitely a good enjoyable steaming hot romance about claiming. One older hunk, who happened to be h's brother friend decided to step up and stake his claim. And stake his claim he would.
No virgin Dual PoV, 1st person No cheating No drama/angst Safe read, HEA, epilogue Overall score: 3.5 steamy stars
My reviews always contain spoilers, I write them so I can remember the story.
Pax fell in love with Nori from a photo. But she’s forbidden, she’s his best friend, marine brother, and business partner Angelo’s little sister. He’s 11 years older than her and he doesn’t feel he’s good enough for her. It doesn’t stop him from soaking up all things Nori when any of her family talks about her. When she returns home he tries to stay away but Thanksgiving mistletoe breaks him. Nori’s mom knows Pax is good for her daughter and traps them into a kiss under the mistletoe, it’s an innocent kiss that obliterates Pax’s control, he can’t deny his feelings anymore and is going after his girl. Nori is a curvy girl and doesn’t think a gorgeous guy like Pax would ever want her but their kiss makes her wonder. At the local bar one night he asks her to dance, they trade sexy flirty comments, and leave to be together. Not able to wait to drive to his house they end up at the auto shop Pax and Angelo own. They enjoy hot sexy times on the reception desk. Thankfully they both come before being interrupted by Angelo. Nori hides in her office until Angelo leaves. They drive to his house after and enjoy a weekend of sexy times. He continues to see her all week, at work and showing up to anywhere she volunteers. He also confesses his love for her to Angelo and asks her parents to date her. Nori is the only one he doesn’t talk to. When he comes to her house he messes up telling her how he feels by making it sound like he’s there for a booty call. She asks him to leave, she tells him she doesn’t want to be his dirty little secret. A kind neighbor helps him wow her and gives him good advice. He waits on her porch all night to confess his love and asks her to officially be his girlfriend. She agrees , but waits a bit to tell him she loves him too. Cute epilogue with them married and expecting a baby and twenty years later with her putting up Thanksgiving mistletoe for her son Jeremy who is clueless that his best friend Elsie loves him. Looking forward to Angelo and Emmy’s book.

What a fun, flirty, holiday family time. Pax coming back from service and him and his friend went into business together. Being BF’s and at his friends house a lot, spending time together yet seeing his younger sister, left quite the impression. Nori and Pax are both very attracted to each other, yet there is that rule about not coaching on your best friends sisters. Join in and see where this story takes them, fun, happy family.
OMG! This was exactly what I was looking for. It gave me what I was looking for. It had romance and tons of Santa spice. This was a good holiday brother's best friend romance. I definitely recommend this one.
Easy short sexy sweet read. Pax is adorably hot. Lots of dirty talking a float. Nice that the story is about an average sized woman who gets her man. No sticks apply.
This book was super cute for the holidays! Age-gap Insta love with brother's best friend. Pax saw a photo of Angelo’s baby sister and instantly fell in love. Once he finally met her, it was game over, she was meant to be his.
I’ve really enjoyed all the books I’ve read from this series and this was no different. With a good mix of love and sweetness and steam, it was a perfect Christmas read!
Paxton ‘Pax’ Frost sees a picture of North ‘Nori’ Vega at her brother’s home, Pax’s best friend, Angelo. Pax meet Angelo in the Marines, Pax’s heads to Angelo’s hometown to check out the business he is going to start. Pax knew it was a good idea, a garage to fix cars and motorcycles, and a little body work. Pax liked the idea so much he asked Angelo to become a partner, that was three years ago. Two years ago Pax was at Angelo’s place when he noticed a picture on the wall. Angelo and his sisters one girl stood out she was completely different. It was Angelo’s baby sister, Nori. Six months ago Nori returned home to work at her brothers garage. Now gathered in their mother’s home, she has mistletoe hanging and Nori and Pax stand under it. Her mother insisted they kiss, Nori apologies to him but he tells her there is nothing to be sorry about. He tells her he wants to kiss her the simple action was enough, he has to force himself to push away. Any longer and he wouldn’t have care her whole family was watching. Now that he knew what it was like to kiss Nori he wants to claim her as his own. Nori and Emmy head to the only bar in town. She spots Pax from across the room. He makes his way to her after she orders a water, he asks her to dance with him. He asks her if she’s been a good girl this year, confused she asks him what. He tells her he thinks she’s been bad this year. She asks him why. He tells her because she’s been driving him crazy. He tells her since he first saw her. She asks him to take her home so she can get on the nice list. He tells her if he is taking her home he is going to stuff her stocking all night long. She tells him she’ll meet him outside she needs to tell Emmy she’s going home. They drive to the garage, she tells him to take them someplace close his place is too far. He picks her up and she tells him she’s too heavy for him to carry. He takes her inside and sets her on the desk. They didn’t speak he fit his body between her legs, hiked her skirt up and his fingers stroked her flesh. He kneeled in front of her and nuzzled her tits. He tells her to take off her clothes. Then his fingers traced her slit, then he licked her tasting her on his tongue. He got lost in her taste, as he fingered her. After she comes, she tells him it’s his turn. He tells her she doesn’t have too as she drops to her knees in front of him. Unbuckling his belt and undoing his pants. Nori tells Pax to sit, she takes him in deep into her mouth. Before he knows it he is on the edge, and tells her to get on his lap now. She asks him why and he tells her if she keeps that up he going to come and he wants to be inside her when he does. She straddles him and guides him into her. After they come she asks him if they can do it again and he tell her of course but at his place. They are getting dressed when a familiar voice calls out. Nori hides in her office and Angelo walks in. He tells Pax he seen the lights on and wanted to make sure everything was alright. Pax tells him he promised Nori he double check payroll. Angelo tells him he has a favor to ask him. He wants to know if he got Emmy for the Secret Santa and wants to exchange with him. When Pax finds out he has Nori he is more than happy too. Nori wakes the next morning in Pax’s bedroom. She grabs a sweatshirt off the back of his door and heads downstairs. She isn’t familiar with how the whole one night stand goes. She hears Pax downstairs muttering to himself. She sees smoke coming from both pans on the stove and the smells of burnt eggs and bacon. She asks him if he needs help, she realizes he is trying to cook breakfast. He pulls her into him and kisses her. The alarm blared and they open windows and doors to clear the smoke out. He asks her if he can take her out for breakfast and she tells him she'll show him how to make it. At work Pax stares at his computer trying to figure out a way to make Nori his. Nori gets busy with Christmas fast approaching. Any spare moment he had he found a way to be around her. The receptionist comes to tells her she has another delivery. It’s a beautiful arrangement of her favorite cookies with a secret note under the Santa one. Angelo comes and wants to know who the cookies are for, she tells him they’re hers. He scowls and ask if she got flowers too. He points out all the cookies are her favorites. Angelo goes to find Pax in his office the moment the last employee leaves. Pax tries to distract him by asking another question. Angelo tells Pax if he has something to tell him he better tell him. Pax tells him he loves her. Angelo tells him she his baby sister. Pax tells him he knows and he tried he tried to forget her, he’s his best friend, he doesn’t have a lot to offer her, she deserves more, he shoved all his feeling down and locked them away. Angelo tells him his mom called it, she told him Pax would be perfect for Nori. Pax asks him if he wants him to back off and leave town. Angelo asks if he would and Pax tells him no. Angelo tells him good he wouldn’t want someone for Nori that could just walk away from her. Angelo asks him if he know what happens now, and then he swings and his fist hits his side. Pax tells him he didn’t have to hit so hard. Then they both tell each other they are good. Angelo calls Nori and tells her he is proud of her and whatever she does as long as it makes her happy he is happy. It’s after nine at night she gets a knock on her door, without looking she opens the door to find Pax there. He asks her if she checked before she opened the door, she didn’t. She tries to shut the door but he blocks her. She tells him they had their holiday fun, but now he shows up everywhere. It’s late and she is sure he wants her to be his go to ho ho ho. She feels he is playing her he’d never want a chubby girl like her. She tells him goodnight. She ask him why he’s here and he tells her he wanted to ask her if she wants to watch a movie. She tells him she’ll pass and asks him what they are doing, hooking up. He tells her he not sure where she got that from. Her neighbor Clyde comes home and asks her if she is alright, she tells him she is. She tells Pax to have a good night. She tells him to stop with the secret Santa stuff too. He tells her he just wanted her to know how special he thinks she is. She tells him guy like him don’t end up with girls like her. She tells him she’ll see him tomorrow, and shuts the door. The biker asks Pax if he alright, he goes over and shares his story about Nori with the guy. They sit and drink beer as they talk. Pax thinks he is in love with Nori and needs to prove it to her. Nori wakes the next morning and doesn’t want to get ready for work. She know she’ll have to face Pax. When she leaves, her porch is covered with Christmas trees some real some fake. The walls are wrapped in garland and lights twinkle making it feel magical. Pax stayed all night on her porch, he tells her this is just the beginning. He tells her last night he came to tell her he loves her but he messed it up. He tried to ignore his feeling but couldn’t, when they kiss under the mistletoe, he know he had to have her. He asks her to be patient with him and give him another chance, by her side always having her back. He gives her a kiss then kneels in front of her he asks her to be his girlfriend. She tells him yes and then he ask if he can drive her to work. Pax dresses up as Santa for their Christmas party at work. He talked Angelo into giving the workers two weeks off. Nori’s mom is happy they are together she’s already planning their wedding and having babies. Nori sits on Pax’s lap at the party, she gives him an envelope telling him how much she loves him. He tells her she doesn’t have to, but she tells him she loves him and wants to be by his side and will always have his back. They get married just before Valentine’s day, February eighth. Just two days before Christmas Pax walks into the house and it’s quiet. Nori is retching in the bathroom. She tells him she is fine, he wants her to go to the doctor. She tells him she is pregnant, she know they didn’t talk about having kids yet. He tells her this is the best Secret Santa gift ever. Over twenty years later Pax comes to find Nori putting out mistletoe. She tells him he is more handsome now than when they met. He tells her she shouldn’t be putting out the mistletoe, but she tells him her mom did it for them. The door bell rings and they stare at each other. She tells him she’s in love with him and he doesn’t get it. Their son Jeremy and his best friend Elsie walk in. They stand under the mistletoe and Nori point it out to them. Some traditions are too good not to repeat.

This story is my second fav of this series so far ( in a review I wrote for Jane Fox's books addition to this series, I'd explain part of the reason I loved her book so much was in part due to my disappointment in books by authors I generally expected more from and found they were usually consistent in that when reading these multi author series, if I wasn't " living /liking the series as a whole" , I counted on the fact that the handful of my fav authors in the bunch would at LEAST deliver a decent story; but this far I'm sad to say, I was unpleasantly surprised that more that a couple of books from authors I normally hold to a higher standard on their own, but for what ever reason, I didn't even like their contributions to this series I had high hopes in liking.... ) But Back to what this book is specifically about and the reasons I liked it. 1. The main male and female characters were written in a great way; these romance books often have this seemingly unavoidable trap when it comes to creating a plot line that has it climax, conflict, conflict resolution and finally an HEA... Unfortunately to get there more often than not there's a definitive situation you can pin point and the fault can clearly be pinned on one or the other MC( toooooo often something we see a mile away that makes you want to sack which ever , the mmc or the fmc responsible ) but we don't get that here, Pad manager to be a balanced amount of "ott alpha" that we love to read in this genre, but his mistakes were not a plot trsp, but rather a typical example of " duh it's male behaviour they really can't help get were born with that y chromosome " mistake, and not something you felt was obvious and want to reach in to smack him for.... If that makes sense... Additionally, our fmc, Nori, wasn't weak willed, waiting for the dude to go caveman to gauge how she should take her dude on what to think about their relationship, not due she get preoccupied with outside characters and let what their options " might be" shape how she let herself feel, ex brothers best friend( too often, something I find annoying the sister of the story is in a constant state of sorry over how their brother will react when the relationship is revealed, and it rests on the mmc to fix any blowback while the fmc waits in sadness.... I hate that, ) but here we had Nori, acknowledging that sure her brother might have an issue, but she didn't let that consume her every thought, more , she was waiting for confirmation about the relationship from "her dude" thinking simply, " if hate for Bro to react and it affect his friendship with his bf, out a pin in that for now, cause if his be isn't gonna step up there's no use thinking about something that would be an issue of we're not going to the next level in the relationship and this public... " ect. I didn't explain that correctly, let just say she was her own person an rational to where her concern may more with how it might affect Pax's friendship, rather that feel like she had anything to " answer for" so To speak, if it came to her personal happiness, which was refreshing cause I hate when a sister is made to feel like she need decent her relationship just because dude was friends with the brother first... If they're happy together , Bro should be glad end of story! Ha... Ok I'm rambling now.... This is too long a review already so I'll have to fav on quickly the other reasons I enjoyed this story , the side characters, even with them barely being mentioned in passing, made me interested in and hoping for this author to write their story's PLEASE(ex her bro and " Emmy" , Emmy only being brought up in Congo but still the set up for a good book was there... Also Nori's neighbour, biker dude Clyde, small mention, but would LOVE Robber his book and where his world is and who might turn him from non relationship minded, to smtten.....
Ok sorry if I just read through all that above, SHORT VERSION, DEC CLICK AND READ!

Secret Santa, part of A Filthy Dirty Christmas series (Nori was the little sister to the MMC in the first book of the Fast & Flirty Motors series. If you read this one first, you won't have any spoilers from the series because this story seemed to take place before the two main characters of the Fast & Flirty series got together.), was about 37-year-old Paxton "Pax" Frost, the co-owner of a garage and 26-year-old North "Nori" Vega. Paxton was best friends with Nori's brother Angelo. They had served together in the military and when they were discharged at the same time, Paxton's buddy told him about the business he was starting in his hometown. When he suggested perhaps going in on it with him, Angelo accepted and they became business partners. A year into that partnership, Paxton saw a picture hanging on his BFF's wall and was told that they were his sisters...including the baby sister, Nori. Paxton fell in love with that picture. After having been away from home for quite a few years, Nori finally moved back home and began working at the garage with her brother and Pax. Six months later, during their Thanksgiving gathering, Pax and Nori shared their first kiss. It wasn't until Christmas was getting closer that the heat turned up between the two main characters, and then all bets were off. While this was a short, sweet story, there was still some angst and drama to keep the reader's attention. Not a lot, but enough to be interesting. The spice, however, was sparse. There also wasn't any push/pull or conflict to stir things up. It was more of a very flat plot that didn't go very far. It was a bit disappointing that it was so short because it left a lot of information out, and the one spicy scene wasn't enough to hold the reader's interest. Both main characters were mature and fully developed with plenty of room to grow. Only they didn't do much growing, but that was because there wasn't enough time for them to do so I only gave this a three-star rating, but since it was part of another series that was centered around the FMC's sibling, perhaps some more of Nori and Pax's story will come out in the Fast & Flirty Motors series.
I read this through KU. I liked this book and would’ve bought it if there were more than 1 Smexy scene. Now don’t get me wrong it was really hot, tablet melting scene but ONLY 1 and rest of book had 0 scenes. The book length could’ve fit more than 1, just saying🤷🏻♀️. The other thing that I wasn’t that much of a fan of was when he came to her house at the end of the book and she completely overreacted in my opinion. She barely let him talk. I do understand that he should have communicated better and things but come on he can’t be expected to communicate if she only allows him a couple of words and interrupted before he could get a sentence out and she just running off her assumptions. They hadn’t had any smexy times but that 1 day but he was showing up every wherever she was and not expecting or even trying to get in her pants, lol. Now I would’ve still bought the book, this wasn’t a deal breaker, but like I said I want more smexy scenes😜😜 Now after saying all this I’m still very interested in reading more about these characters. I hope there is a book about her bro and Emmy. I would even like to read about their children’s love stories. I will keep my eye out for some more books about these characters.
A former marine Pax returns home and is co-owner of a garage with his best friend Angelo. Spying a family photo, he sees Nori, for the first time. At Thanksgiving a piece of mistletoe and a matchmaking mama, they are given no choice but to kiss. Nori is a curvy girl, working for her brother and his friend, no way would Pax be interested in her! Hooohooo I LOVED this story! It's an instalove, insta-connection, steamy, passionate, dirty talking, Christmas ladden inneundos...and a misunderstanding in which a grand gesture saves the day! The story is well written, fast paced, with wonderful characters that are easy to like and empathize with! There's an epilogue with a HEA 💓
For me this was such a fun book, when you're laughing at the end, that's good. Paxton is an ex-service member operating a business with his best friend, Angelo. He also has fallen in love with Angelo's youngest sister. Nori also works with them. Paxton finally decided to approach Nori. Sparks and fists do fly. You'll have to read the book to find out what happens. I really enjoyed it and hope you will as well. Written by Cindy :)
I'm buddy reading the Filthy Dirty Christmas books with Michelle as they come out this year. For our mini reviews we're asking 4 questions...
(1) what did you like/dislike about the hero? I liked this hero a lot - Pax is the brother's best friend and he's older. He is definitely going to dote on Nori.
(2) what did you like/dislike about the heroine? Nori "North" was very likeable too. She is independent but also has a hesitant side - a nice balance. I really enjoyed the little tidbits of Hispanic culture that came with her.
(3) how would you rate the romance/steam factor? This one was not as steamy as the others; it was more of a sweet romance with some fade-to-black/assumed steam. And I enjoyed it. Nori is not a virgin - thank you!! - and she's not over the top sex crazed either. Another nice balance.
(4) overall rating and why? I gave this one 4 stars. It was a sweet romance and I could see myself enjoying more with these characters.
Qualifies for COYER Fall Scavenger Hunt Item #6 - Read a book with a Christmas theme.
What an enjoyable story! I loved it. It had all the holiday mini drama and the hunky hunky Santa, who was head over heels for his kinky elf. I liked the part when the two guys talking, getting the male perspective, that some actions while good, don’t tell the whole story. That something as important as forever, never ever should be questionable. And it worked, right up to a happily naughty ever after.
Best friend’s sibling is one of my favorite tropes and this one was done really well!!! This short read has everything you want - Alphamale with a soft spot for a sweet heroine, instalove with little relationship drama, completely NSFW scenes and the sweetest HEA ever!!! Nori and Pax’s tale is one not to miss. Loved it!!!
Nori is cute and Pax is hawt! As both of them come to terms with wanting each other with some entanglements like her brother, there’s some miscommunication, some steam, and a happy ending! I especially liked the business Pax and Ang are in, and want to see Ang and Emmy’s story, next.
It's the most wonderful time of the year!! 🌲🌲 I love this time of year, especially when authors I love drop hot, sweet reads onto my kindle! (I had it on pre-order and there it was, first thing this morning!). Read in one sitting, I could not put this down and I loved every word of it.
A wonderful read in The Filthy Dirty Christmas series. Nori is such a great character and Pax is so ready to be her holiday happily ever after. Mayra has given us the greatest Christmas treat with this awesome story.
Pax is holding back and waiting. Nori is the love of his life and deserves better then him but he just cant hold back anymore. The stunt her mother pulled on them just proved how good they are together.
¡Qué mono! A delightful and playful Christmas romance. For a shorter story, it didn’t feel rushed. The ending felt full circle, tho some of their little drama felt like the first time those thoughts came up. All in all, a sweet OMYW treat.
I thoroughly enjoyed reading this hot and sexy best friends brother story by Mayra who is favourite author of mine. This sexy steamy book had the insta love story I like and it was a quick and wonderful story.
Paxton is obsessed with Nori, his best friend's baby sister. Nori is nursing a major crush on Pax, who is her secret santa. Each is anxious to keep us brother Angelo in the dark. Did I mention that they all work together? What could possibly go wrong?
