They're real. This mystical creature is tall, terrifyingly beautiful, and not at all what I imagined friends of Santa Claus to look like. And this one? This steamy Christmas novella was exactly what I wanted. I had read and enjoyed this author before, so I knew chances were good I’d like this one too. And score…I did!
In this cute, little fantasy story, Eldrin the elf was banished to the forest for disobeying the rules. He fell for a human. Big no-no.
And once that human named Clara wanders into said forest, he can’t help but take her. And keep her. I loved how he was so eager to meet her needs and willing to do whatever it takes to make her happy and satisfied and want to stay with him. Not only is he caring and sweet and protective, but he’s also nice and growly and bossy in bed.
This was charming and fun with lots of humor, and also unique and magical with plenty of steam.

A short steamy read. Who knew Christmas Elves were so hot? I didn't but Elf Eldrin is in this book and Clara is the lucky lady that gets to find that out. Yes there's plenty of steamy scenarios in it but there is also a sweet naivety between Clara and Eldrin that I liked. Elf-napped was a good read

Elf-Napped was a great short fantasy Christmas themed book. Who knew an elf could be as growly as Eldrin?

READ THIS BOOK! This is probably my favourite story of the "Filthy Dirty Christmas" series so far. I love the elves and the introduction we are given to their world, it was well done despite being a shorter book. I was so happy to see an MC who was actually hesitant and concerned about the crazy insta love supernatural being instead of just accepting it and jumping him right away. The spice and magical connection still come and are perfect in every way.

Okay, i usually don't like fantasy novels, but this one was pretty cute.
First, i love the author, so for that I'm willing to give it a try from there.
This was a story about a girl who's roommate set her up on a date. She was not into the guy, but he was acting erratic and ran into the woods behind the tree farm. She managed to find another guy who captured her off, and from there, it all went crazy.
He said he was one of Santa's elves, and wanted her for himself. For forever.
This story is perfect for the week leading to Christmas. Read it and you'll enjoy the banter and the prose of this handsome elf.
And of course, this HEA is something you'll never expect but adore!!!

This was so intriguing, Elf falling for the human he was looking over. He falls for Clara and she has an inside joke with her friend about losing her virginity to Legolas because of obsession with Lord of the Rings. When she taken by an elf and embarks on your fantasy.

Wonderful!! This was a nice quick, short read.
Eldrin meets Clara when he is watching over her for Saint Nick. He takes a special interest in her and then is banished for loving a human. Clara’s on a date, they go to a Christmas tree farm when he decides to head to the woods and cut down a tree. He’s been drinking and she know this isn’t going any further. She follows him to make sure he comes back but they are greeted by a creature she’s never seen before. Eldrin know who Clara is and calls her name, she thinks this is a joke. She stumbles to leave but falls down and he tells her he will help her. He picks her up and takes her to his home. He strips all her wet clothes off of her and burns them in the fire, she is after all his Queen now. He lays her on his chest while she sleeps to make her warm. When she wakes she can’t believe she is so comfortable. When he tells her she isn’t leaving she jumps off him and looks around. Confused as to who he is and where she's at. He introduces himself and tells her where they are. He tells her he is a Christmas elf. He tells her they are to perform a bonding ritual to tie them together. He gets her food and something to drink, because she is confused. After she eats she tells hims he should go he needs to get back to work. He tells her he doesn’t work for Saint Nick anymore he fell in love with a human, her, and is the reason for his exile and his key to happiness. He bends down and kisses her while she feels all fluttery inside. She talks to him about what he knows about sex and foreplay then explains what she wants. She tells him she likes to cuddle before to feel safe. He asks her to tell help him understand what else she needs. They begin to kiss, and he shifts her so she is straddling his hips. He slides his hands down her body and begins to pleasure her. She tells him she is ready for him and he lays her out on his bed and lays on top of her. He tells her he needs to go slow so he can stretch her. They hold each other for a long moment until his hardness takes over once again. She asks him if she can leave and he tells her no. They are now married as they performed the bonding ritual. She is shocked she didn’t know and he tells her it’s possible she is also pregnant. He tells her how he can speak to trees and plants. They they go on a walk so that he can show her. Her prison becomes their love nest, she doesn’t know how long she is there. He pleasures her in other ways. He tells her they are going to find a Christmas tree and she protest. He asks her if she would like to finish her date at the tree farm with him. When they prepare to leave two figures appear in front of them. Clara is shocked when she sees Reba and Deacon standing in front of her. Reba tells her she needs to explain what is going on. Reba tells them both after Eldrin left five years ago all the elves united and began to revolt. They banished the current Saint Nick, today they voted on a new Saint Nick. They want to offer Eldrin the position. Clara can’t believe her best friend Reba is all part of this, but she and her boyfriend are part human part elf. Clara tells them she needs to take a walk. She tells Eldrin she is upset her best friends and roommate has been manipulating her life. He tells her she can leave but she tells him she doesn’t want to. He tells her she needs to decide if she is coming with him because he needs to deliver presents. She tells him lets go deliver presents. Ten years later Clara is skating and Eldrin can’t believe his children in their hideous outfits. It’s Christmas his only day off. Their children Sugar, Plum, Candy and Winter help Clara with her skating. Moments later Clara leads Eldrin into his empty workshop. She gives him a gift but its human made. He bends her over and pleasures her. She asks him if he had a good Christmas and he tells her he did. She gives him one more gift she had his kilt let out a few inches and wants him to wear it later for her. This dirty series is the best so far and this one dealing with supposedly cute elves . Clara has this fascination of Legolas, still a virgin well into her twenties and the very best, best friend ever who kept hooking her up with weird dates but her last hook up was to the Christmas tree farm with a drunk (or so we thought ). Oh, the shenanigans she gets into that lands her on the doorstep of her very own Elf …yep you heard that correctly. Eldrin an elf who has been exiled for loving a human or really paying too much attention to a human, the one and only Clara so living in the woods talking to the trees and protecting the woods from the outsiders that is the job given to him. But, on this last date her drunk date ventures into the woods of EL and he gets his girl convincing her to stay well now that is another story and telling her the whole truth well that comes later on as well but wait until you see the twist their story takes, who is who and where it leads both of them guess the one question is does it lead to happiness?

Elf-Napped is the type of fairytale romance that I usually love, but this one fell a little short for me. Abby Knox is one of my go to authors because she has these great, quirky yet grounded characters set in interesting plots. This story has all of that, but seemed more disjointed than her other books; it felt rushed to me.
The best part of the book is the characters. Eldrin, the elf hero, is this great contradiction of confidence and naivete that makes him a fun read. Clara, the human heroine, is kind, caring and feisty. I also loved the whole premise. For me, the problem was the pacing. This is a novelette and the two characters didn't even meet until chapter 4, then it sort of raced on from there. It's still a cute story, just not what I expect from an Abby Knox book. I'm giving it 3.5 stars

Clara has been obsessed with elves her whole life but she has yet to find someone who fit the bill. She decided that she would follow through on one more date, but after that she was done. And, while following said date through the notoriously haunted woods, she meant it! That is when things got out of hand…in a good way.
Eldrin had been banished to be the protector of the woods when his obsession with a little human became a little…extreme. There was something about Clara that just called to him. So, when he catches her stumbling her way through his woods, he decided to look at it as a gift. Now he just needed to convince her.
This was not my favorite of Abby Knox’s stories. I think that it had potential but needed more room than Abby’s usual novella-style provided. I like the idea of a dark twist on elves (which is what drew me in) but the Santa stuff kind of knocked it over the edge for me. 'Elf-Napped' by Abby Knox is part of the multi-author A Filthy Dirty Christmas series and tells the story of Clara, a human female who loves all things elves, and Eldrin (El), a banished Christmas elf. El used to keep an eye on Clara when she was a child to make sure she stayed on Santa's nice list but as she got older he no longer had to monitor her. However, El fell in love with Clara and still watched out for her sometimes. When he got caught he was banished to a pine tree forest to protect. Much to his surprise years later Clara stumbled into his woods while on a blind date. He had to save her and maybe have the chance she would fall in love with him.
Ms. Knox wrote a charming addition to the series. The interactions between El and Clara were sweet and steamy. Though this book is short it is well written with great characters, witty dialogue, and an interesting plot. I loved the epilogue. I enjoyed this book and recommend it to anyone who likes a quick but satisfying read with their glass of eggnog.

This was a fun short story. I enjoyed it. Clara was on the worst date ever. She should have stayed home to watch elves in Lord of the Rings, rather than be talked into this date. It was supposed to be Christmas and winter fun at Holly Berry Farm. Instead, her date is drunk at 11am and wandering off the property and into the nearby forest to cut down a tree. Rather than leave him to freeze, she follows after him. Eldrin was one of Santa's elves who fell in love with Clara when he saw her save a little boy from a kidnapper. From then on he spent all his time watching her (stalkerish) and eventually St Nicholas punished him for his fixation. He lost his job, home, and elven community and instead had to guard their sacred land. After not seeing Clara for five years, he finally sees her when she wanders into the forest and he has no plans of letting her go. Great world building. A fun read. 5 stars.

Elf-napped was a cute story. It was a simple love story with a magical twist. Eldrin is an elf who’s part of a elvin community who watches over children to determine if they are naughty or nice. In the course of doing his job he becomes smitten with Clara, to the point that he doesn’t know how to walk away from her and no longer watch over her when she gets older. It ends up causes to get exiled from the elvin community. Somehow fate has another plan. It leads Clara back to Eldrin into his magical world. Clara is unsure of things at first thinking it is all a dream or something. Soon she realizes it is all real. The ending is even more magical, something you will just have to read to believe…. While I thought this was a cute story it definitely was a bit different and something I was not expecting.

An elf and human love story.
I really liked this Christmas holiday story. It was entertaining and enjoyable. The characters were interesting and likable. Eldrin was an elf but also a stalker for a while. After his love for a human was discovered, he lost his ability to stalk his love. Clara has had a thing for elves for years. Since she can’t “really” date an elf she has gone out on dates that have been increasingly worse. Her date leading up to Christmas was the worst one yet. Eldrin was ecstatic to find that his Clara was in his woods and he wasn’t going to lose her again. Clara wasn’t prepared to meet Eldrin but they end up getting to know each other very well. I loved their happy ever after. I recommend reading this book.

I don't always read the come on blurbs of books, I go by the covers and titles. Never thought the book would go the way it went. I had so much fun reading Eldrin and Clara's love story of a lifetime. Who wouldn't want to meet an Elf like Eldrin. Eldrin was assigned to watch certain children for the naughty/nice list. The current Santa was a tyrant and banished him because he had feelings for Clara. Clara met her best friend and roommate, Reba. Reba helped her find dates for a certain purpose that will be clearer when you read the book. As time went by, Clara ended up in Eldrin's woods. The descriptions from this point on are out of this world and awesome. I enjoyed this book a lot, I hope you will as well. Ho Ho Ho!!!! Written by Cindy :)

Who wouldn't want to meet an Elf like Eldrin. Eldrin was assigned to watch certain children for the naughty/nice list. The current Santa was a tyrant and banished him because he had feelings for Clara. Clara met her best friend and roommate, Reba. Reba helped her find dates for a certain purpose that will be clearer when you read the book. As time went by, Clara ended up in Eldrin's woods. The descriptions from this point on are out of this world and awesome. I enjoyed this book a lot, I hope you will as well. Ho Ho Ho!!!! Written by Cindy :)

Eldrin was enchanted by one of his charge - Clare, to the point that he was exiled from the North Pole. Clare does not have the best luck when it comes to finding dates, each one seems to get worse and worse. When a blind date ends her at a tree farm, her world is about to be flipped upside down.
Elf-Napped is an interesting flip on the how you look at elves and Santa. Eldrin and Clare's story is one of heat, passion with a suspense and twist that will have you glued to the end.

First things first; I like the cover of this book!
Elf napped is a novella in the ‘’a filthy dirty Christmas’’ collection.
This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read.
I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. Eldrin is an elf that has been attracted to a human for years. After being banished, he never expects to meet his human in person. Will Clara give Eldrin a chance?
The chemistry between Eldrin and Clara is clear to see and I liked them together.
I liked the ending and the epilogue for this story.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read.

Eldrin has been watching Clara since she was little, since he was the elf Santa assigned to her. But he fell in love with her and has been exhiled. Now that he finds her in his woods, he takes his chance to be with her, whether she likes it or not.
I'm going to get the bad part out of the way. The first part of the book needed better writing. The interactions and dialogue were not written well, and it almost made me DNF. BUT once I got past that part, and Eldrin takes Clara, the writing improves, and the scenes they are are pretty good. He does speak oddly, so it takes some getting use to, but otherwise the remainder of the book was great. I wish that the author would have spent a little more time in the scenes and added more detail, but overall the story was fun and steamy.

This .. was such a weird one.
I couldn’t really get into it.
The guy did speak so inconsistently - one time he was speaking in an old english kinda way, almost like a conservative British guy, the next he said things that would be normal in a modern romance.
Even before he „read“ a romance book.
Then his speak pattern took a turn completely and was completely modern. I just … no.
Be consistent.
The plot twist was absurd and it also happened in the background. Come on. The elf’s unionised and chose him as new Santa clause?
Sure sure. It was simply impossible to make the ending even more convenient.
Ugh. Yeah. No.
It was an okay read. But such a weird one as well.

Eldrin was exiled from the North Pole for his obsession one one particular human female. He is assigned to protecting the woods from human interference when he sees her, he has waited so long to find her.
Clara is on another lousy date, the guy has been drinking and it is morning, now he has her in the woods, she trying to stop him from cutting down a tree. She loses track of him but finds an honest to goodness elf, he is huge, and he is not letting her leave.
This a nice take on the North Pole story, it was steamy with an over the top alpha elf.

Love it. Loved the concept of this one, loved the characters - this was such a great read. Totally different from anything holiday I have read and I can’t say I’m mad about it. This was such a fun take on Christmas elves. Clara gets lost in the woods on a bad date but who just happens to be there? An exiled elf that fell for her a long time ago. Once he takes her back to his home, he tries to convince her she has no choice but to stay. This was such a fun fantasy read and the twist at the end was pure gold!

I thought that this was a great book. I really liked Eldrin and Clara together. I really liked the connection and the chemistry between these two. Eldrin, the elf, has been obsessed with Clara, who has been obsessed with elves, and thanks to a wayward date, Clara is now within Eldrin's reach. This was a really good holiday themed book and was a great addition to this series. I would recommend this book and Ms. Abby as a wonderful author.

I received an ARC from the author and am voluntarily leaving my review. This is a short paranormal romance and part of the Filthy Dirty Christmas series. Eldrin fell for Clara like a ton coal. He lost everything because of her but it is fixing to be worth it. She made it into the woods he protected. When they finally meet, Clara is going to learn a lot about real elves. Fast paced, once forbidden, steamy love story. I liked the characters and how they interacted once they met.

This was such a fun story. Eldrin was banished from the North Pole because he loved a human, Clara. He went 5 years without seeing Clara until she ends up in his woods and he's never going to lose her again. Clara wasn't really prepared to meet a real Elf but I love the journey they take together to understand and participate in the dance of love. This was a great naughty story with some nice thrown in. First, let me start by saying that if captivity in romance is a turn-off for you, this book may not be for you.
That being said this is a contemporary fantasy/paranormal romance in which the hero steals the heroine. Eldrin is hilarious and his discovery of the human body was the funniest! Together, Eldrin and Sophie are just the best. And the scene where they first do their mating ritual…HOT!
So if you ejoy spicy short novellas this books is just for you!

Fantasy-obsessed heroine finds herself abducted by a real-life Christmas elf... only this one puts Legolas to shame. He's tall, gorgeous, and possessive in the usual alpha sense, but he's also an absolute cinnamon roll. His genuine feelings for Clara are endearing. What can I say? I'm a sucker for blatant escapist fluff. Eldrin and Clara are adorable and that twist at the end genuinely surprised me.
Also - the way these elves can basically absorb/read any book in existence via telepathy with trees? Ummm... that's kind of ingenious and I need this ability in my life ASAP.
