Short, sweet, and dirty, with some Christmas magic thrown in for fun.
There wasn’t much to this, but it was sweet.
And totally filthy and sexy.
I’m glad I picked it up. This is exactly the kind of Christmas themed book I enjoy.

Stars strong- huge lumberjack type reindeer handler (yuuuuummy) and virgin, much younger, tiny ex-besties sister. Loads of possessiveness and dirty talk, solid steam. Ending tried to do way too much (0 to 1000) but overall one of the stronger novellas in this delicious series.

Dani Wyatt writes these Alpha, over the top, growling men who know what they want and go after it once they catch their eye. Dodge has been drawn to Heather from the moment he met her but she was too young. Now she’s a woman and is totally focused on her and her only.

HOT DAYUMMMM!!! This was a scorcher!! Totally smutty with an ooey gooey sweet center! The hero is one step away from a Neanderthal. He’s loved the heroine since he first saw her, when she was too young for him, and has known she’s his soulmate. He’s waited for her to come of age. I got the impression he may even be a virgin, but it wasn’t explicit.
Safe. Possible virgin hero. Heroine is a virgin and belongs only to her hero, gives him the gift of claiming all her firsts. No others, sharing, cheating or abuse. HEA with epilogue years out.

This book was very nice! It was very over the top with a possessive hero and a dainty, delicate heroine.
I definitely recommend it when you're looking for something short, extremely safe, and (let's be honest) unrealistic. That said, I really enjoyed it and will read again.
Our hero, Dodge, has been attracted to Heather for a long time and been waiting to make his move while still thinking he is not good enough for her. The heroine is also extremely attracted to him, but they have never shared more that a few words in passing.
There is a bit of family drama that gives the book just enough backstory to make it more interesting atop of the romance itself.
The trope is grump and sunshine, which I love.

I'm so torn between liking this & being grossed out
I would love this & their love story IF it hadn't started when he first saw her at 13. I know he didn't touch her until she was 18 but the thought of a grown man being in love with a 13 year old bothers me. If you erase her age or edit it to a more acceptable age, I would have loved it. I just couldn't get the thoughts a dirty old man & a freshly turned teenager out of my mind, even if it was from a distance & she was untouched by him until she was 18. The want was still there & I just can't with that.

This could have been a fairly standard smutty read but certain overtones about the relationship between Dodge and Heather left me feeling a bit discomfited. This also isn't a particularly Christmassy read by and large, aside from brief mentions of snow, the fact that Dodge looks after reindeer, and he has a Christmassy nickname that he gives Heather. On the plus side, it was a quick read.

Wonderful!! This was a nice quick, short read.
Dodge and Heather see each other when she is thirteen. She was with her grandparents at the annual parade. Dodge controls the reindeer and sees her their eyes locking onto one another. Now Heather is eighteen but she wasn’t at the parade and Dodge looks for her at the local bar. When she finally arrives her brother offer to buy him a drink, and Heather takes her brother up on his offer. Dodge and Heather sit in the corner booth talking. He asks her why she missed today’s parade. He knows she hasn’t missed it in five years. She tells him that her and her brother are moving back and going to be living with their grandparents. He ask her if she wants to come over later to see the reindeer and she tells him yes. Dodge leaves to get cleaned up and ready for Heather. Heather arrives on a ATV but it flys up, wheels bouncing on the ground. She flys off and he races to see if she is alright. She tells him she likes to make an entrance. He tells her she isn’t riding back on that he’ll take her. When she goes into feed the deer they surround her, he tells her they never go to anyone but him. When they are finished she tells him she needs to get back for dinner. He asks her when she is coming back if he can pick her up, she told him she was sleeping over. She tells him to meet her at the end of her grandparents driveway. Later that night she sneaks out and he tells her he was about to come find her. He carries her into his house, he tells her she will be his from now on. Their lips connect and they begin to kiss. He tells her she is his Christmas miracle, he tries to undo her shirt but the buttons are too little. He rips open her shirt, and tells her he’ll buy her another one. She takes the rest of her clothes off for him, he kisses down her body and tells her she needs to asks for what she wants. She can’t say the words she wants so he coax her. When she does he he rips into her. She tells him she’s waited for him, never kissed another. She wanted him to be her first. He tells her she is his snow angel as his mouth descends between her legs. He tells her to look at him as he takes ownership of her. He tells her he’s waited a long time for her. He pulls her on top of him and tells her to ride him. After he tells her he is keeping her and she tells him maybe it’s her keeping him. She wakes to the smell of pancakes and he tells her he was going to bring them to her in bed. After they eat, Dodge gets ready to feed the reindeer she tells him she wants to go with and help. As he leads her outside and they stop the fence to the paddock has collapsed in several places. Some of the reindeer get out so they go and get them back. They find out two are missing they look for them in the road. They find them at her grandfathers barn but her brother is standing with them. Her brother tells her her grandparents want to see her, so she leaves Dodge and head inside. A phone call comes to Dodge before he is back in his house. Heather brother has a lawyer looking over the original contract because they have photo proof Dodge can’t take of the deer. He hears Heather outside crying so he sets the phone down and goes to her. She tells Dodge she had nothing to do with it, she tells them her brother told her he's been planning this, to take over his land as soon as her his guard was down. Her brother is the one that left the deer out of the paddock. He asked her what his plan is, Heather tells dodge her brother wants the oil that's on his land. Dodge starts to laugh and she asked him what's so funny. He asks her what her grandparents said about all of this. She tells him they don't know she didn't talk to them. He tells her her brother can't do this he has no control. Her grandfather comes knocking on the door and makes her brother apologize, then comes in and they tell her the whole story. Her grandfather tells her she is going to have controlling share, her grandfather asked her why she looks so comfortable in the house of their families oldest enemy. Dodge explains to her grandfather that she won't be leaving his home anytime soon. He tells him they're going to the jewelry store to pick out a ring and they will be married tomorrow. Six years later, at the annual Christmas parade, Heather has two year old Stacy on her hip with a bulging belly. Dodge comes with their other two kids Riley and Doug. Dodge wants to bring the trailer around to let out the reindeer when a contraction hits Heather. She tells him someone is comings he loads up the trailer and they head home. This time they are having another girl. They hurry home before the midwife arrives. Dodge tells her he loves her from the first day. She tells him she loves him always have and always will.

Davis is Heather’s older brother and has always been a grade an asshole. When he hears there’s oil on Dodge’s portion of the land, he schemes to make it look like Dodge isn’t adhering to the terms of the agreement so that he can be kicked off the land and Davis can drill for oil. And a key part of his plan is making sure Dodge is distracted enough for him to act. That’s where Heather comes in. She’s been pining for Dodge forever, so she plays right into her brother’s hands bc Dodge had been pining for her too and he’s definitely distracted by her.
Not to worry though. Davis is also a class a idiot who doesn’t read the fine print, and Dodge and Heather get their HEA.
Spicy parts were underwhelming though, as was the story as a whole.

Oooo Holy Night, part of A Filthy Dirty Christmas series, was about 38-year-old Dodge Ronson and 1-year-old Heather Vredenberg.
Although they could recognize each other from just seeing one another, Heather and Dodge were merely passing acquaintances. Heather and Dodge only knew each other in passing since she had been 13 years old. Over the following five years, they had only ever "shared a few words here and there". That made the words exchanged between the characters come across as stilted and superficial, the way it would be between strangers who were uncomfortable with each other. Which, basically, is what the two main characters were.
There was a bit of angst and drama, but not enough to hold the reader's attention. The plot was easy to figure out, and the spice was...not spicy. The whole thing was bland from start to finish, which was a great disappointment.
Good grief, the grammatical errors in this story were so atrocious that they interrupted the flow of the whole thing. Words dropped, the wrong words used, the very tone of the conversations, and the punctuation errors were enough to make a person gag.
This book was so far-fetched it boggled the mind. And the epilogue only made it worse.
With everything negative and hardly anything positive to say about the story, it wasn't worth the time spent reading it. Nor was it worthy of more than a one-star rating, and that was being overly generous.

Dodge finally gets his girl
Loved this Dodge has wanted Heather for a long time ever since he saw he at the Christmas parade this year she had missed the parade but came into the bar he was in with her brother. Her brother has been scheming behind Heathers back and is using her to distract Dodge. Dodge is never letting Heather go she is his now and Heather loves him has for a long time but finds out about her brothers plan and goes back to Dodge so upset thinking he would think she has been on it to take the land and and house of him as he wants to drill for oil on his land butDodge knows different and tells her she is never leaving his side and her grandpa comes to the rescue and tells Dodge that he has done nothing to breach their agreement that was set long before he was born.

He has a contract with the family next door, which was signed by his screwed over great grandfather, that says Dodge can live on the land as long as it’s used as a reindeer farm. Once it’s not, Dodge has to go. But Dodge has no plan of leaving. He’s in love with Heather and waits patiently for her to come back to town.
Davis is the grandson of the family next door. He has a plan to get Dodge off the land so that he can get someone out there to drill for oil and find gold. He wants to use his sister Heather for the job.
Heather has always had a crush on Dodge. Her and her brother Davis recently moved back to town and she can’t wait to spend time with Dodge and his reindeer.
I was invested in this story because I didn’t want Dodge to lose his *country accent* land or his reindeer!

This was a cute and fast paced novella. I will admit it was hard for me to get through this book as it gave me the icks at times. Love this!!! Perfect if you want a shot read and you’re looking for an MMC who is obsessed, OTT and possessive. I would have liked to know if he was celibate since seeing her for the first time. I’m hoping he was because of how obsessed he was with her.

while I do love an age gap and taboo romances, this was just not it for me. While the smut was well-written and steamy the situation made me uncomfortable.
He became obsessed with her when she was 13 and he was over double her age. She is barely 18 when this story takes place. On top of all that, they are instantly in love and get married in a few days. I love an insta romance when it is a short book but felt nothing between them.

Well, it lived up the the title of Filthy Dirty. The emphasis was on the filthy not on the romance and definitely not on the Christmas cheer and celebration and family. There is a place for downright filthy books. A Christmas series is not one, nor is a collection involving other authors.

O Holy Night has definitely become one of my favorites!!!! Dodge is a gentle giant and makes Heather is…. But really she was already his before he even knew it!!!! I absolutely loved the way the author wrote this book!!!! I’ve never read any of Danny Wyatt’s books but I’m glad I came across them!!!!! Can’t wait to see what other stories I can read!!!!!

This was a short, sweet and filthy Christmas book. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. Usually sweet doesn't do it for me. But at Christmas time it hits the spot with all the magic of the season. I'm glad I took the chance on this book.

Fun read
This was a fun and spicy read. Not a fan of him wanting her in any way before she was an adult, that's why I dropped a star. Although he didn't act on it until she was 18, it still makes me cringe. Other then that I liked it, especially his caveman ways.

Absolutely loved Heather and Dodges story. I love how these two finally make things right between two fighting families. Heather is the sweetest character and I love how she truly brings a new light to Dodge. Love everything Dani writes.
