After dragging herself through a history PhD (fuelled by a steady diet of romance novels) SJ Williams realised her true passion lay in fiction. With so many ideas bubbling in her head, it was only a matter of time before passion overcame reason and she took the mad leap in the dark that is setting out as a self-published author. One year after she typed the first word, she has finally made it, the proud parent of five novels brimming with adventure, romance, magic and just a little bit of history (that PhD had to be good for something, after all).
