Fans of The Hunger Games - the next wave of dystopian intrigue has arrived!

Troy is a professional employee with 35 years of federal service in the Intelligence Community. He was born the day that man first stepped foot on the surface of the moon. This marked a profound event in space exploration history. He developed a fond appreciation for the planet and the majestic beauty of all of its living things.

Inspired by science, nature, and outer space, he hopes that readers will enjoy immersing themselves into this captivating dystopian world, and at the same time garner a deep appreciation for Earth’s precious resources.

It's a bit unsettling to think that some day planet Earth will succumb to the forces of the solar system. Somewhat more comforting, though, is the notion that given the sheer size and complexity of the universe - mathematically speaking, there is a high probability that another Earth-like planet exists. If it does, can we find it? Can we travel there? Will we discover other lifeforms?

Now, consider an Earth that has become dreadfully overcrowded. One which is depleted of its life-giving sustenance. One which has reached its maximum sustainable population. What will we do?

MAXIMUM CAPACITY is a unique adventure that plays out in a world that seems impossible, yet is frighteningly eminent. The result - a fascinating journey into a futuristic dystopian society where population control requires that the good hunt the bad.

This Sci Fi / dystopian hybrid challenges your imagination from all angles. Troy is excited to present it to you today!

Did The murders have to be done in such a cruel and inhumane manner? In front of everyone? Could this happen to our world? These are the questions, Maximum Capacity, by Troy Suesse left me wondering. This novel is science fiction at its finest, yet it is so close to reality that it scared me. A suspenseful story that kept me wanting to know what would happen next. The rule: with the birth of each new child, an existing person must die. That was the way to confront overpopulation. This was the order in a world driven almost to extinction.

Suesse’s novel details how each human must contribute toward the “common good” of the survival of mankind or become expendable. And in this new world order, the good hunt the bad. Those who commit a “violation count” are marked for termination. What happens when all the criminals are exterminated, only the good remain, and new children are born?

The author’s writing style arouses the readers’ way of thinking with frightening new ideas. His style is abstract, yet believable. The earth is expiring and people are struggling to survive by searching for other habitable planets. Do other earth-like planets exist, and can they be found if they do? Suesse captures the readers’ imagination with chilling semantics, pulls the reader in, and leaves them unsettled about the possible outcome.

Then Suesse introduces the Venom Society. As intimidating as they sound, the Venom Society have alabaster complexions, dark glasses, and tophats. They orchestrate the vicious murders of men, women, and children.

Maximum Capacity, by Troy Suesse, deserves 5 out of 5 stars, not only for its excellence in writing, but also for its choice of wordplay, control of the narrative, and chilling effect on the reader. The possibility of this happening to our world is real. And it's frightening.

Troy Suesse challenges every human to do their part to ensure the functioning of society in ‘Maximum Capacity. In this well written and awe-inspiring book, the author uses science fiction and fantasy to bring to light elements in life that make existence precious and life worth living. For how long will the earth last if humans keep living the way they do. Is there another place in the universe where life can be present in the possibility of earth’s extinction? How fair are resources divided across the world? ‘Maximum Capacity’ is the book you need to reflect on complex as well as simple matters of life.
In the book, the reader is plunged in a dystopian world where the earth is completely dying. The people have to think hard, and think critically as the moves they make will affect their chances of survival. In this dystopian world, almost everyone is forced to work for the good of the society. A new planet has to be found and the search for this new planet is mind-numbing, exploratory, and a tad harder than the people imagined. Walking with the characters was a rousing affair. As a reader, you get to virtually enjoy the adventure as well as learn of survival tricks. The author’s style of narrating is too good that you do not want to put the book down.
I recommend ‘Maximum Capaciy’ to avid readers because the story telling is not only stimulating but also electrifying. The story is engrossing and the plot is incredibly broken down. Troy Suesse incorporates fictitious events with real life happenings to get the reader to relate with parts of the story. I enjoyed the conversations among characters and how benevolent the chats felt. Troy Suesse is an overall remarkable author, creative and charismatic in every sense. This book is a great read not just for fantasy readers but any other avid reader that enjoys a profound, fascinating and riveting storytelling.

Earth has become overpopulated and there isn’t enough houses or food for everyone. The Venom Society has risen to power to bring forth innovative ways to control the human population. In order to keep the population under control the Venom Society punish those who have done wrong, punishment by death. Zinnia is an orphan who takes on the responsibility of taking care of her brother by doing what she must to feed him even if it means breaking the law.

Maximum Capacity by Troy Suesse is an intense and thrilling futuristic sci-fi novel that will have you captivated from the turn of the first page. Similar to the Hunger Games this story is gritty and raw and isn’t just about tournaments, it’s about survival for everyone. Suesse’s writing style is diverse and intriguing and he thrusts the reader into the drama immediately. Zinnia is a relatable character that I really enjoyed reading about and was rooting for her the entire time. Kamalei is another interesting character because she is part of the Venom society, but she also shows compassion for Zinnia. Each character is well developed and complex as they have their own obstacles to face. The author’s descriptions are vivid and I felt like I was watching a movie. I appreciated that the author showed the reader rather than told us what was going on. I also thought it was interesting that even though people were being punished by death on Earth The Venom Society was also exploring different planets that humans can live on. This shows the complexity of the characters but also the internal battle they faced with trying to control overpopulation.

I highly recommend this unique read for those who are looking for a gripping tale of survival.

Maximum Capacity by Troy Suesse is a dystopian science fiction novel that’s set in the future when the earth has finally reached its maximum and can no longer sustain humans for much longer. As a result of massive population growth, resources are no longer sustainable, and major restrictions are enforced to prevent further population growth. There are several aspects of this story unfolding: the search for another planet that’s sustainable or carefully monitoring the earth’s population with various rigid and sometimes brutal practices.

While the author paints a horrific picture of the future, there is a sense of hope when some people work together towards improving life and their survival. It’s a provocative story that draws on many concerns we face currently, including climate change, pandemics, and how the population copes in a crisis. The story is both unsettling and encouraging at once, as the narration moves quickly, with lots of action, character development, and unexpected turns and cliff-hangers in between.

I found the story unfolded like a movie, with descriptions offering vivid visuals and peculiar situations for characters. It’s a cautionary tale that deals with the problems humanity faces and how close we may be to experiencing the same in the future unless there are significant changes made today. I found this book highly readable and engaging, and rate Maximum Capacity by Troy Suesse 5 out of 5 stars for its powerful message of hope amid a bleak and unpredictable future.

An enthralling novel
Maximum Capacity by Troy Suesse is an enthralling novel. It’s an absorbing dystopian that grabs the reader’s attention from the very beginning. In this story, set in the future, the earth no longer has enough resources to sustain most people, which has resulted in significant restrictions on new births and how societies survive. There are limited resources, and shortages are common. While the restrictions are intended to keep people alive, despite the grim circumstances, inhabitants are ready to attack and violate orders in order to survive or fend for their own.
I found this story to be well written and the author gives readers a lot to think about in terms of survival and life in general. Suesse brings a lot of “what ifs” to mind, especially regarding precious resources and how a lack of sustainability can lead to desperate situations and in some cases, chaos. What if we run out of water, or food? How would a community react to a sudden change in conditions, and is there a glimmer of hope?
The author does a spectacular job of finding hope and humanity amid the darkness and how people can organize and work together for a better life. I really enjoyed the dialogue and the well-developed characters, their personalities, and how they deal with difficult scenarios. This book kept me on edge throughout the story and exceeded my expectations. I give Maximum Capacity by Troy Suesse 5 out of 5 stars and highly recommend this book to fans of dystopian and science fiction. It’s an excitingly brilliant novel.

A solid debut from a new author! Suesse has imagined a dystopian society of the future where earth’s resources are limited and humans are pitted against each other—sometimes violently—to survive. Fans of science fiction and space adventures will enjoy this fanciful take on a futuristic society. The story is engaging and fast-paced. While this genre is not one that I choose to read, I enjoyed stepping out of my comfort zone to read something different.

An enjoyable read, which kept me occupied during a couple of long plane rides. I found the first half of the book to be more engaging than the second.
