Anthony Calkins is a young man struggling with alcohol. Homeless, he reconnects with his grandfather at Royalwood - an assisted living facility in Chicago. There he learns that his grandfather had many of the same issues earlier in life and together they battle their demons. Each discovers romance and through love and support of some new found friends living at the facility, Anthony has a rebirth. Life at Royalwood holds many surprises for Anthony as he secretly spends much of his time there. And his new found elderly friends learn a few tricks from Anthony as well. Chicago Moon is a funny, poignant story of second chances, and illuminates the human spirit, bringing out the good in everyone.
