What a missed opportunity. This author chose to frame young generations through the lens of his political bias. Instead of providing a summary of GenZ characteristics and allow readers the chance to process and analyze it for themselves, this book tells readers what they should think about for every situation. Unfortunately, it is not an unbiased approach to GenZ. For example, the inclusion of critical race theory and race baiting in a chapter on how GenZ sees race is an unnecessary political influence on the conversation. This author has an outdated understanding of what post modernism is, does not even introduce the concept of Metamodernity, and limits their understanding of truth, gender, sexuality, and many other issues to a conservative biblical worldview.

I am greatly disappointed.

Reaching our current culture for the Lord has been something on my heart for years. This book lays out a clear pattern of how to approach discipleship in our world today. I liked all the author’s contributions to this collection. I will use them in the future as I teach these topics to both youth and adults. Recommended
