Focusing on my future is getting harder and harder with the campus bad boy wanting all of me. He’s not just bad either. There’s a darkness in him I don’t want in my life. Yet, I’m drawn to him like a moth to the flame. Messy black hair. Piercing green eyes. Sinfully sexy with rockstar appeal. He’s the poster child for hot, broken, and rich. Stay away ladies. This bastard is the most notorious student on campus. His rich, ivy league heritage has everyone pre-judging him. And maybe they should. But, as always with the worst guy in the room, there’s more to him than meets the eye. I have plans for a big future, and they don’t include him. He’s got other ideas though… Wicked, wicked plans.
Chloe is a hometown girl from Tennessee who loves a great short romance, drinking coffee most of the day, and hanging out with family. When she's not writing, she can be found playing the piano or surfing Facebook! Having been a reader all her life, she's hoping that you'll find yourself lost to time, laughing and falling in love all over again with her books.
Wow, this series just gets better. This is Ruby and Bryson's story and it's one wicked one. We met Ruby in the last book and it's been fun getting to know her better. She's a strong woman who takes charge and doesn't let Bryson run all over her. The book was well written and hard to put down. The characters are well defined and complex. The story line has some twists and plenty of drama. I read an advance copy via the author and voluntarily chose to review it.
This college bully and opposites romance storyline is entertaining, engaging, steamy, and has great main characters. Our bad boy, rich and entitled hero and studious good girl heroine have had opposite upbringings. We learn that our hero who is a bully was also bullied and after an unfortunate accident meets the heroine. While they are together through his recovery, he learns to heal and mend his ways creating the opportunity for a HEA. I liked this enjoyable book. I voluntarily read an ARC and this is my honest review.
Hang in there, Ruby. He can’t stay mad forever. C. Morgan know how to write a villain who is full of himself. You will want to smack him right out of this book. Rich, entitled, playboy, unflappable Brysen is finally getting a dose of his own medicine. He has always depended on his father to “fix“ anything, but he can’t do anything about the accident and his injuries. He thinks he is hot man on campus because everyone bows to him, especially the girls, and he can say and do whatever he wants with no consequences. Enter Ruby. Ruby has been studying hard and keeping herself invisible on the college scene until she sees Brysen‘s car crash and stays with him until the ambulance comes. But does he say thank you? No. What a jerk. As you read this book you will want to just strangle him, but you know it’s because his father constantly puts him down. Brysen has got to change his ways or he is going to be left with nobody. His friends are fake and his “one night stands” are just a distraction. Absolutely fabulous. The words just totally fit the two characters. Amazing book.
College love is the best. And when you have to work at it and it comes out better, then that is what true love is.
But Brysen is an ass. He is a rich kid who has nothing to worry about as far as money goes. He gets into fights and is an all around jerk. He has a family that just doesn't seem to take. His sister is the only one in his corner.
Then there is Rudy. She is from a loving family. She knows what she wants and how hard she will have to work at it to get it. But she has no worries that she will not get to where she wants to be. Her mom and dad are in her corner and her loving family is in her corner too.
But when Brysen gets into an accident and Rudy is there to help him, will this be a good thing? And when it turns out that they will be thrown together to help get Brysen back on his feet. Will this be a good thing???
Hmmm well you will just have to read this book to find out. Great characters and Dax and Haddie from book one show up too.
Great Read!!! Back at Edgewater University we get to know rich bad boy Brysen Burke and pre-med student good girl Ruby Sprite. Brysen’s dad Tommy is all about keeping appearances and trying to keep his son in line by holding his trust fund over his head. Ruby is a good girl always studding to keep up with her classes and a favorite among her teachers. After a bar fight and a car accident these two are thrown together. Ruby becomes Brysen’s physical therapist and isn’t taking any of his barbs and gives it right back to him in spades lol. They get close while Ruby is helping Brysen get better and the bad boy starts falling for the good girl. Ruby is showing Brysen that people do care and makes him want to do better. This book is a great bad boy that falls for the good girl. I received an advance copy from the author.

Wow, this story will keep you reading into the wee hours and you will want to slap Bryson on the side of the head a few times. The story follows Ruby and Bryson. He is a freshman who’s a snobbish rich kid who’s dad got him in to this Ivy school and Ruby is a serious student who works hard. is a very driven, focused college freshman. Brysen’s dad holds the money and Bryson feels frustrated and trapped. His father wants him to finish college. Brysen gets in a bad car accident, and not only was Ruby the one to find him, but she also became his physical therapist. She doesn’t take his crap or is manipulated by him. This was a compelling read I enjoyed very much. I voluntarily received a beautifully coloured and covered arc copy with appreciation from the author and I liked the book enough to buy a copy as well.
This story caught me off guard, much like the one before it did. It was apparent very early on that Brysen himself was the victim of a bully, so it made logical sense that this would be how he would interact with the world. Hurt people hurt people. In fact, there was a short period of time in the beginning that it was Ruby I had trouble connecting with. Brysen has a difficult journey to walk in this book, and I found it to be an emotional roller-coaster. I was quickly pulled into the story and carried along for the ride. I was in awe of the growth he undergoes, and even Ruby has a few lessons to learn. I enjoyed this book and I’m looking forward to seeing what’s going to happen next at Edgewater. I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book from the author.
WICKED PLANS An Ivy League Alpha Novel, A College Bully Romance By C. Morgan Once again, C. Morgan does a bang up, great job with this well written story. This is the 2nd book in the series and Ruby is Hadley’s (from last book) roommate. Ruby has had a loving supportive upbringing, Brysen has always come up short from his parent’s expectations. The only person he is close to is his sister. What everyone thinks they know about him, is mainly wrong, except the bad boy part. Ruby is intrigued by him from the start, and he notices her too. This is told from both Ruby & Brysen’s points of view. This is a 5 star story.
Brysen and Ruby attended college together and were both freshmen. He’s really arrogant, moody and angry all the time because of his home life. She has worked hard all her life to make something of herself. Two opposites. Then something happens that you would think would change the way he thinks about life, but no, not then. They have this rollercoaster friendship/relationship going on. This story is informative, emotional and gives you all the feels while reading. This book gives all the details of a rich family versus a normal family. Can they both survive each other? I recommend that you read this story to find out. It is well worth the read.
Bryson is self entitled jerk and thinks he can do anything he wants. If he gets in trouble his father takes care of it. He’s a freshman and acts like he’s the king of the campus. He has a car accident and Ruby, another freshman that has her life under control and has lived quietly, comes across it and stays with him until help comes. You would thinks he’d thank her but he doesn’t he treats her terribly. This is the start of them being around each other. He has to contend with his injuries but makes Ruby miserable. Will he ever get his life under control and grow up? I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
The story of Ruby and Brysen. He's the College bad boy trying to get his parents attention. She's the good girl always studying, at the Ivy league University on a full ride scholarship. She has two middle class loving supportive parents. Brysen hardly attends classes but then both of his parents are alums and he was grandfathered in.. He's from old money and his parents only pay attention to him when they are bailing him out of trouble so he obliges. Ruby and Brysen get to know each other when after being in a serious accident Brysen is sent to the physical therapy clinic on campus and Ruby is assigned to his case. I really enjoyed reading this book. It is a standalone easy read HEA.
This is the second book in the Ivy League Alpha Wicked Rich Series. This is a great College Bully Romance. Ruby and Brysen's push and pull relationship is emotional, steamy, and captivating, filled with drama. They share a sizzling chemistry. Brysen is rich, arrogant, and enigmatic. Ruby is strong, independent, and determined. They are fantastic opposites characters. The story is told with both POV's, which is great! I loved to follow them in their journey to love. It was fun to see again the characters from the first book. I loved the amazing characters, the gripping storyline, and the great ending. This is an amazing Series, and I highly recommend it.
This is Book 2 in An Ivy League Alpha Novel Series by this author. It is a steamy, enemies to lovers romance between nursing student Ruby and campus bad boy Brysen. These flawed but likeable characters and the unique plot make for an interesting read. It is a love story filled with drama, angst, steam, sweetness, frustrating moments, and twists, plus appealing secondary characters to keep the reader interested. The main characters share an undeniable chemistry and connection. An engaging read with a happy ending.
I received an Advance Reader Copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving my honest review.
Brysen is the epitome of entitled rich kid, and thrives on being the bad boy, but as you get to know his family dynamic, you understand why. It is known that bad attention is better than no attention, so at 19 he is also a very broken boy. We met Rudy in book 1 and get to know her more in this book, as she continues her physical therapist education, and Brysen is her 1st patient. Boy is he in for a surprise!! Be prepared for a range of emotions as you read their journey, individually and eventually together!!
I received a free ARC copy from the author and freely give my honest review
This is a brilliant read not to be missed. Ruby and Brysen are both in the same year at college but that is the only thing that they have in common. He's a troublemaker and she likes to study and get ahead with her studies. When he sets his sights on her she knows that she should stay away but something keeps drawing her in. The chemistry between them is electric but will he keep pushing her away rather than giving into the feelings. So much drama and plenty of emotion and I absolutely loved the ending. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.
This is a nicely developed college romance about Bryson and Ruby. It is an enemies to so much more story that was interesting and intriguing. I really like the characters. Bryson is a bit challenging to like at first because he is a bad boy, entitled rich kid and jerk. He ends up getting into an accident and Ruby finds him and stays with him. She also ends up being his therapist. It is a rough start between them but things start to change. As things unfold you see a new side to the characters. This is a good story.
Ruby is a girl who has her head on straight and knows what direction her life is going. Brysen comes from a family of wealth without love and is a menace on and off campus. When these two meet he immediately is drawn to her looks but he doesn’t do “relationships”. When she helps him more than anyone else ever has and doesn’t do it because of who he is or what he has, will his feelings for her deepen? This is a good book with good characters within.
Great easy read! Although this story takes a while to get into the meat of the story, it moves along well and will keep you interested. The characters are engaging and have enough depth and emotional drama/battles that they make you fall in love with them. I really enjoyed Ruby's tenacity and strength and the angst and push and pull with Brysen was great! I was sent a complimentary copy and I am choosing to leave my honest review.
Wicked Plans by C.Morgan is an interesting, intriguing, steamy with ups and down and family drama..Bryce is a gorgeous college bad boy from a wealthy family and Ruby is a gorgeous goody two shoes and smart, studying hard for med-school for her to finish it early.but when their path crossed all change her quiet and peaceful time is in chaos because of huriccane Bryce who only do it just for his parents to notice him..I am volunteering to leave a review for an ARC of this book.
3.5 stars for the growly alpha who meets his match! Wow, what a capitulation we witness in Brysen! Transformed like the $6M Man, but on the inside. I really enjoyed how mature all the young people are, yet the author is able to show some aspects of them cutting loose and acting their age. Bryson and Ruby are magnetic fire together, steamy and intense. Dual POVs, well-written smexiness and a very realistic HEA for their point in life.
This is a well written college romance with strong characters in Ruby and Brysen. The author brings all the feels in this emotional story. She does a great job pulling you into the story and kept me reading with all of the twists and turns along with the building tension along the way. I enjoyed reading their story.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. All opinions in this review are my own and freely given.
A thoroughly entertaining to this series! It's a somewhat typical entitled bad boy (Brysen) meets less privileged good girl (Ruby) who he bullies because he's a self-entitled douchecanoe, who finally sees the light and that there's more to life than being insufferable after his accident. I liked seeing him make the changes to be not just a better human, but be the man who deserves to have Ruby in his life and by his side.
I love college age romances! Opposites romance the studies career focused college woman and the wealthy frat boy whose there to party and have fun. The characters are well developed and storyline floss along. I couldn’t put down. Another must read by author C. Morgan. *I was given a copy and am voluntarily giving my honest review.
This book is one I didn't want to put down, the storyline is so perceptively written and the characters are so well-drawn. You feel like you know these people and can't help wanting things to work out for all of them, but for them to do so isn't going to be easy.
I like this author's writing style and the way she brings the characters to life and look forward to reading more of her work.
Brysen and Ruby’s story is full of emotion and drama. They are both incredibly strong, likeable characters … although I have to admit there were definitely moments when Brysen was not soo endearing. This book is very entertaining, you will not be disappointed. This is a voluntary review of an advanced copy.
A great read that is well written with great characters. It will keep you engaged and turning the pages. It's a quick read but is packed with so much goodness or should I say wickedness. This is a really good story with a writing style you will love. I was eager to see if the main characters received HEA. I won't spoil it for you. Just know I can't wait for the next book.
This is a college bully story that takes a turn into a steamy love story. Ruby and Brysen are strong characters that will take you through the rocky road to the love that brings them together. The author will tantalize with the drama and the angst that will turn into lust and then love. You will be drawn to the characters and will be with them to the end.
Another great entitled bad boy meets nerdy girl story. Suddenly starting fights or challenging others becomes too much when an accident happens. His recovery gives Brysen time to rethink his life and his path forward. Could a little PT time with a nerdy, studious girl make a big difference?
