What a sweet little gem.

A hidden little (very small book) gem from long ago that filled my heart when looking through it with the kids. So few kids today get the sort of freedom required to make these hiding places, not to mention the unstructured time to do them. Hopefully more people will find this book in their libraries and kids will return to being kids.

A wonderful find! We recreated some of these forts and had a lot of time enjoying the great outdoors :)
