Trigger warning! This may not be considered a “dark” romance, but I would say it is toeing the line. If dark romances are not for you then this book might not be either. This book is not recommended for those under the age of 18 or those who may be sensitive to certain situations. You’ve been warned!

I suffered through this one. The writing was decent but the book was way too long with not enough plot for too many pages, along with wobbly character development () and too many sex scenes.
There were some nice action parts in the second half of the story but too few too late. I would have rounded up if the book had been trimmed down to half its size.

Strong, Sexy, & Rough
If you are looking for a hot and extra spicy love story than look no further. Alejandro & Irma are the couple for you. Their love for each other is one that will gut you, make you laugh, & cry all while rooting for them to figure out what they both really want.
Irma has always relied on herself for everything. She has Matches who she works with and is her partner in crime on their hustles but for the most part she is alone. She knows this job taking from Alejandro is going to be dangerous and could back fire but she won’t back out. She thinks the job was successful but when she is kidnapped by Alejandro she knows she is in trouble.
Watching them grow as a couple is very sexy and full of hot, steamy scenes that will make you see how much they mean to each other. There are several obstacles in their path and they will have a lot to overcome. However, watching them figure it out and make their way back to each other is intense and fulfilling. Happy Reading!!!

I received this book as an arc
Bad ass FMC. Good things do come in small packages. Our FMC Irma, has had a tough life. She’s living proof what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger.
The world and character building takes some time. Lots of back story. But, it’s needed.
MMC,Alejandro, beautifully built, golden Adonis can have what he wants, when he wants. If you say no, he’ll just take it. So he takes Irma.
This book, to me could have been in two parts. Either way, you still get the full story. The forced proximity, kidnapping, mafia angst, this book has it all. The 3rd act break up gave me heart palpitations, then had me in a choke hold.
**Warning: keep a thesaurus and dictionary nearby. You will need it

This is my flat out honest opinion on this book. Will contain some spoilers from my favorite parts of the book!
The beginning of the book took me a few pages to really get into. Irma also known as Fynn explains this job she thinks is going to be so easy, (and actually it pretty much was for her) ends up getting her captured. I find how Alejandro recognizes her scent to be very clever. He knew it was her that was in his office immediately, and when she was no longer on the yacht....BINGO he was right.
When she was at festival.....dancing....it gave me chills reading she felt eyes on her and scanned the area and seen him. How he knew it was her standing that far away sent an alert through the book to me. I was literally yelling at her through the book to turn and run 😂 But he confirmed it when he danced with her and knew it was her immediately.
Fast forward a few chapters. His way of caring for her is so sweet and gentle. Her emotions is all over the place. Who can blame her? I mean if I was captured and held prisoner for a month and starved to nearly death I wouldn't know how to feel ethier. She doesn't want to admit she is attracted to him even with him being so kind, gentle and caring. The wedding she starts to come around...fast forward more the explosion of the plane....that's when her love really shines through. She had the chance to run and leave him lying on the ground but she didn't she stayed and helped him, protected them both until his brother and men got to them. Everyone knew she was in love with him but it wasn't until he kept asking her why she saved him that she finally admitted to them both she was in love with him 🥰
When he technically forced her to leave (thinking he was doing the right thing) my heart broke with her...when he took her back realizing he made a mistake I was mad with her. He loved her and she loved him and the ending really showed that.
This book made me feel every emotion. Job well done!

‘His to Bedevil”’ is an amazing romantic novel by author Stasia Mars. This is the first book in the series Men of the Mafia.
The story presents Irma, a thief and con artist whose mission is to trick and steal something from Alejandro Martinez. But he is not an easy prey. Soon Irma will get involved in a dangerous situation she won’t find easy to escape from. Or would she even want to escape from it?
I really liked this book. It is a gripping read impossible to leave aside until you finish it. The characters are very well-developed and realistic, each of them with their marked personality. The descriptions are detailed and vivid. Some of the scenes are steamy hot!
I think that what I enjoyed the most about this story is that it is not only romance. The book is full of thrilling moments as the author creates tension with unexpected twists and turns.
I cannot wait to read more from this series. I highly recommend it.

Ok so I am absolutely in love with this story- as I sit here and write this review, I remember myself saying once and only once before has a book enraptured my senses. Don’t get me wrong I love books - all books. Yet it takes a certain way with words to make the book actually speak to you- this one has. So in my journey of reading I have now come across three books that will forever be the ones that judge all others. And it’s only book one!!!
The way they love is brutal - dark and utterly wondrous. The characters travel through their own journey yet they don’t mind us being voyeurs.
This is not for the faint of heart- so if violence and darkness doesn’t thrill you- I suggest you find yourself a kiddie book. However if you get tingly when things go dark then welcome to, His to Bedevil.

I absolutely loved it and enjoyed every bit of it! I knew it was going to be such a great, guilty-pleasure book the moment I read the somewhat poetic synopsis of this book. And I was not wrong! His to Bedevil by Stasia Mars is a Mafia romance book that left such a good impression. In this book we are introduced to Irma and Alejandro Martinez, two characters that are supposedly opposed to another but ended up tied together in an unforgettable, thrilling journey.
I love these kinds of romance stories. It's very edgy and it takes you out of your comfort zone. I found the story of this book with so much depth. It is not like your ordinary romance book that gives you butterflies in the stomach. It is actually intense. Plus, Alejandro Martinez is such an irresistible Alpha hero! I greatly recommend!

I am very pleased with this reading! The author, who has a very creative mind, weaves a clever web of intrigue in this well-written science fiction story that captivated me from the opening chapter. “His to Bedevil” is the first installment in a six-book series and the good news is that they can be read in any order.
The main characters, Alejo and Irma, are amazingly described, and their emotions are very well written, at times I was able to feel their love, frustrations and passion. Stasia Mars did a great job keeping me engaged right until the end.
Romance novels are some of my favorite kinds of books, but sometimes it’s difficult to find good ones. Clearly, this is not the case! I’m looking forward to read more from this author. Highly recommended piece!

Part of a tension-filled kind of saga, His to Bedevil is the first installment to a six-book series featuring Irma and Alejo, a couple ready to go for everything they propose.
I consider this crime thriller a successful example of this genre and one with overlapping subgenres as well since readers are exposed to heightened feelings of suspense, excitement, surprise, anticipation and anxiety in just one book.
The opening chapters set me up for the tone of the book. I felt immersed in the storyline right away, partly due to the way the characters are described and developed and also because I think the topic of romance the author embedded in the tale is a plus.
Definitely, there is a little bit of everything I want to read in these kinds of books. Great pick!

Absolutely loved Irma. She was so stubborn, so strong and didn't bow down to anyone. Given a raw deal with life, but she found a way to survive and thrive. She had one friend and he was her partner. Until she got in over her head and met him.
Alejandro met her on his boat. He was known to be ruthless and if she got caught she was done. And not done with her job, done with life.
Alejandro was captivated by her. With just one look. He wanted more. He tracked her down and imprisoned her but the rest wasn't what she thought it would be.
Tears...I was heartbroken, but put together again, then broken again nd back together, this story, this love and their connection...I felt every piece of it! Incredible!

It is an interesting sci-fi novel about a dark romance for young adults. The story develops around Alejo, the main character and Irma, his girlfriend.
The job of the author is amazing. It is very well written. Mars was able to transmit different emotions on every plot line. I really liked it because it was fresh and original, without exaggerations that didn't fit the story. I enjoyed it and I want to read more about the series! I recommend it to lovers of romance and adventure.

Whether you're having trouble finding a decent romance novel, this is one you'll be glad you read. "His to Bedevil" is the first book of a six-volume series, and the best part is that you may read them in just about any sequence. Stasia Mars' creative genius was instrumental in deftly crafting a net of intriguing well-written sci-fi fiction that would have you fascinated from the very first page. The lead protagonists, Alejo and Irma, are incredibly portrayed, and their emotions are extremely nicely expressed; an incredible narrative of love, despair, and passion. This is an excellent piece!

He must set an example and he knows the perfect way. Will there be an HEA or will Irma be left to pick up the pieces of herself alone in the end?
A thrilling ride which will leave you guessing at the twists as they come around. I really liked Irma’s defiance and determination, and her eventual surrender was well written. Alejo was intimidating and that bad boy we all love to hate. Great story!

Wow you want steamy, hot and sexy, this is that story
It started out as a job and ended up what she could only have dreamed.
Irma was a fierce independent woman who fell for her mark. You could tell when they met on the book it was gonna be one hell of a story.
The obstacles made my tear up but how they found their way back and realized better together was amazing. I have already added more by this author to my TBR

I smiled, I cried, I rejoiced
This is one of those books that will have you running the gambit of emotions. It starts off dark, stays that way for quite a bit and gets a little lighter towards the end. This is a HEA, and boy am I glad cause I could've k*liked the MMC myself for his foolishness! I enjoyed this book more than I thought i would and will probably read the rest in the series to see who else falls madly in love. There were some great side characters in this!

Sexy & wanting more 🥵
I didn’t want this to end. I absolutely loved Alejandro and Irma’s story. Sexy and steamy in all the right ways. I was rooting for them as a couple despite the obstacles. She thought she could take from him but he had other plans. It’s intense. But definitely worth the read. Highly recommend.

This was my first mafia romance, and it did NOT disappoint! Seeing the relationship between Alejo and Irma develop and grow into something dangerous and amazing made it so I couldn't put it down! I was hooked from the very start and I cannot wait to read more in the series as it releases.

Such a good book
This author is new to me. I came across a video on her social media and I'm so glad I did. This book was so good. It had me hooked from beginning to the end. Irma is such a strong character. Irma and Alejo are just perfect for each other. I cried for her and cheered her on for her strength. I can not wait to read the next book in this series.

UNFINISHED but had to speak
Ok, I’m not finished yet but there is nothing happening besides a lot of soft-core showers. She’s busted, at his estate, over being tortured and now living the life (kinda) because they have her BFF. Now headed to Cuba. And it’s only 30%!! This book has a 4.39 rating! This is my second attempt. Is it me?

It was a long, but great read. Alejo and Irma were smoking hot… mouthy, strong female and dominating, grump who falls first. The smut was smutted well, and the HEA was my favorite part. The only critique I would give is that it maybe should have been two books. All the events were interesting, but it felt like a lot of action for one book, for me.

OMG, I loved this book, it took me 9 months to read because I have kids, but you get whiplash on this book. love the erotic scenes and then the romance that came with it. If you want a hot and heavy book this one is to read.

I did not want to put this down
I was immediately obsessed. The connection between alejo and Irma was wild!!! I honestly was so mad at alejo multiple times! The suspense and action throughout the entire book was great too! I loved every bit of this!

This book is incredible! It’s spicy, I love the story line and I love the characters. It is genuinely one of my favorite mafia romances. Stasia Mars blew me away and I couldn’t wait to read more and more!

This was my favorite in the whole series! I loved the interaction between the two characters, and I love that she's a badass! However, I did not like that she forgave him for an the bad he's done to her. I like the go between this two characters, and you definitely get some feels in this story.
