It was meant to be the last party before the end of summer, the last party before the group of friends are split up forever.
But someone has other plans for them…
At a cabin in the middle of the woods, on a remote island, the friends gather for a party. Not knowing that for some of them, it could be the last one they’ll ever have.
The killer is out there and watching them, and they’ll bide their time before striking again.
After all, the secrets are out.
In the thrilling fourth instalment of the bestselling Summervale series, Will the teens survive and make it back to town for graduation? Will they be able to leave this cursed town behind? Or will they perish before someone can raise the alarm?

This is one series that I have been loving and if you love YA thrillers that keep you entertained and then leave you wanting more as each other book ends on a cliffhanger. At the end of Book #3, we read as Darcie's dad had reached his near end as his secret had come to light and soon the murder spotlight was on him. Darcie’s dad's felt backed in a corner and tried to kill her and his friends but didn't succeed. Stacey's secret was also revealed in their game of truth and dare. In Book #4 Spin the Bottle saw Stacey completing her community service and the friends Darcie, Stacey, Austin, Dane, Bobby, and Dylan celebrating their last summer together before college at Bobby's cabin in the woods on Capulet Island. Of course, nothing good ever happens on islands and cabins in the woods as terror and secrets will come to light. I did love the twist at the end when Darcie's family history was revealed and shows why her father chose to settle in Summervale. I am now looking forward to Book #5 and hope it goes more into the details of Summervale's crazy history and Darcie's connection. Like the previous 4 books, book #5 also ends on a cliffhanger.
Book 4 of the summervale series is another great instalment and the teens are looking towards their future. Dane and Darcie wish to move to California for college, and they spend time away with their friends for one last hurrah. Little do they know that a killer is nearby and after revenge. Readers will enjoy spin the bottle and I’m sure they will also be eager for the next book, like me. Read it!
