Denise Walker thought she was handling her sudden un-engagement well until she found herself unable to drink coffee or get a good night’s rest. To combat the blues, she turned to marathons of Law & Order and writing romance novels, except she hasn’t told her editor at the paper or any of her family. Her best friend advises that the best way to get over a man is to get under a new one, but when Denise is suddenly confronted by her past, she must decide which guy (if any) is the right one for her.
This book is hilarious, has a awesome, strong & super likable MC in Dee. The whole cast of characters is super endearing (I love Kent!). This is a MUST read for 2022 & I can’t wait for the second one!
I have truly enjoyed reading this book. I loo k for different genres of books and I happened to see this book and thought, why not. I am so glad I did. I loved it!! Just want to know if there is a sequel? If not, it really needs one. Keep up the great writing!!!
I may be biased because I'm lucky enough to know the author, but I found this to be a delightful book! I loved Denise, along with all the characters, honestly, and felt like I knew them, and rooted for her and her journey. It was enough reality to feel like I was there, but enough romance to feel like a little dose of escapism. Cozy romance indeed!
I really loved this book, especially the friendships of the characters. The writing was great and the flow was too. Off to purchase some blackwing pencils
