Walker visits his niece when she is in labor. He meets the younger woman and his nieces friend Mabel. Their attraction is instant and they fall head over heels for each other😍😍😍 Instalove,sweet,romantic and safe with a sweet HEA and no drama❤️❤️❤️

Writing their own love song
Walker is the fourth book in the Love Baked In series. Walker Monroe is Mabel's uncle, if you read Macarons & the Mountain Man: Sugar & Spice Nights then you will remember Mabel, North, Uncle Walker and of course Evelyn. Walker has remained living in Montana, somewhat stuck in his life with it being on repeat each day and the same nightmare each night. Let's just say that we get the details of exactly what happened to Mabel's parents and it is not pretty. But one night Walker is woken up from the nightmare to find North on the phone letting him know it is time, Mabel is having the baby. Evelyn is the store manager at the Sawtooth Bakery in Stanbery, Idaho. She is the one that hired Mabel when she moved to town last year. But at twenty-seven this is not her dream of having her own catering company. She has been working hard, with also Mabel's help, to get to a point where she has enough clients and jobs to quite the bakery and make the catering a full time business. So when she gets the call from North that Mabel is having the baby she quickly realizes that she is not nearly ready, as in her plans to train Mabel to take over being the store manager and be able to have enough time to fulfill the jobs she has scheduled over the Christmas holidays.
Walker and Evelyn meet at the birthing center in town when Walker is holding the new baby girl, Twila, and Evelyn walks into the room, losing her ability to speak when she lays eyes on the very big and handsome older man. Walker has not wanted to come to Idaho even though Mabel has continued to invite him there. But with the baby he quickly realizes that he is a Great Uncle now to Twila and wants to spend a bit of time there. When his boss gives him an ultimatum to be on the private plane back to Montana or else he takes the or else, after all he can write songs from anywhere in the world. This gives him some extra time and after talking with Evelyn he offers to help her with a wedding catering job that weekend. As it turns out that weekend job turns into a forever as these two grow closer quickly.
I really enjoyed this sweet and entertaining story. It does jump a bit at times but the story still holds together and is easy to follow. I loved that Uncle Walker and Evelyn got their story, and that it was together. They are both wonderful characters and the story-line is lickable delicious with a hit of naughty spice.

His ultimate muse
This book is about Walker and Evelyn. The first part of the story was terrifying and tragic, and even though it was part of a memory, the dream was awful! I felt sick! It was written so realistically! But, the birth of a new life gave the story a new lease on life too.
Evelyn works with Walker’s niece Mabel at Sawtooth Sweets. Given that Mabel has just had a baby, Evelyn needs an extra hand at the bakery and with her new catering business. Walker offers that help, despite his boss telling him he needs to head back to Montana for work. As a songwriter, Walker can work from anywhere, and decides to do just that!
Walker and Evelyn get get close one night when they’re working on a wedding together. Sizzling-hot chemistry and a hot tub equates to too much temptation to deny. They’re sweet and passionate, and the possibilities runs around in both of their heads and hearts. But what will Mabel think about this?
This instalove story was full of drama and many emotions. It was good to catch up with other characters from other books, but I did feel like the story ended too abruptly. There was so much left up in the air – and where did the name Twila come from? The author has a new series coming up (Diary of the Sisterhood), and promises we’ll see some returning characters. So, fingers crossed we’ll find out more about these wonderful romances being built in Wylder Bluffs. I give this book four and a quarter silver fox stars.

Even though Evelyn has free rein of the bakery, her dream is to cater large events and was planning to hire Marble as manage of the bakery, so she can get her business off the ground, now she has to wait for her dream a little longer. But in comes Walker into her life, the large, sexy uncle of Mabel, who captured Evelyn heart when she first lays eyes on Walkers picture.

The phone ringing wakes Walker up from yet another nightmare about the accident he's told that his niece Mabel is having her baby. Walker heads to the hospital where baby Twila captures his heart from the moment he held her in his arms. That's when Evelyn walks in to see him holding her best friends baby. Evelyn has a crush on Mabel's uncle and even though she has alot of work to do with the upcoming wedding that she's catering she couldn't miss the birth of Mabel's baby. Walker is captivated by Evelyn and he offers to stay and help with the wedding Evelyn can't afford to say no she needs the help. You really need to read this sweet and steamy story to see what happens. I would definitely recommend reading this book.

First things first; I like the cover of this book!
Walker is the fourth book in the ‘’loved baked in’’ series.
This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. Walker is a man that has been through something heart breaking. Evelyn is a woman that is rushed off of her feet. When she meets her friend’s uncle sparks fly but will love blossom?
The chemistry between Walker and Evelyn is clear to see and I liked them together.
My heart hurt for Walker after what he had been through and the flashbacks he got.
I liked the ending and the epilogue for this story.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read. I look forward to more books from this series.

There really isnt anything better than finding that instalove especially with someone who will help you get through a really rough patch in your life.
This story started off amazing, then tragedy and I was instantly on the floor crying as I was having Alexa read this book to me. I was literally crying for Walker. Crying for his past, his future, his present and everything that he lost and what he will lose because of how he felt.
Then in walks Everly, and its like life finally got brighter for Walker and I was finally able to stop crying for him. He was able to help her keep her life together while she was able to finally bring him out of his dark. This book was amazing. I would have liked to have seen a little longer epilogue for this couple but other that that 10/10.

He went to his niece's place because she had her baby and she was his only family. He meets Evelyn and everything changes for him. He helps her out with her business and works for the bake shop. Walker is in town because his niece Mabel just had a baby. Evelyn is Mabel boss and friend. Walker and Evelyn meet when they are visiting Mabel. Sparks fly between them. Soon Walker is helping her in the bakery and not wanting to leave. Will he have found a reason to stay in town? Will they both get their chance at a happy ending?
This is an amazing story that will draw you in from the first chapter on. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

Walker the silver fox has his own baggage that he is resistance and letting anyone help him with. But he is a songwriter and he needs a new way to write songs. Going to Idaho to visit his niece seems to be the ticket. The age gap is there now so detrimental as like some of the other books that I’ve read like you can see it. Evelyn has less than after walker since she saw him in a picture a year ago. What are you gonna do now in person? No cliffhanger.

'Walker' by Tarin Lex is the fourth book in her Love Baked In series and tells the story of Walker, who goes to Wylder Bluffs for his niece, Mabel's, birth, and Evelyn, Mabel's boss and friend.
Ms. Lex has written a charming addition to her series. The interactions between Evelyn and Walker are sweet and steamy. Though the book starts out on a sad note it ended happy. I enjoyed this book and recommend it to anyone who likes a quick but satisfying read with their coffee.

Walker was haunted by the tragic deaths of his brother and sister in law. When his niece called him to come to her when she had her baby he met Evie. He was instantly in love. He had never thought he could feel that way. Evie was captivated by Walker, she wanted him forever. This was a beautiful romance. Loving , caring, hot and steamy with a wonderful HEA

Another great book in this series
I love so many of the Rutherford brothers in this series. This is a fun one for sure with a sweet new life that’s born and brings two more people together. I love the crossover of characters in this book Ans how everything intertwines. Lex is a great author to cross over multiple series and keep everything straight. Each book can be read alone but it’s so fun to have the background of each.

While at the hospital with his niece Mabel who is having her baby Walker meets Mable's best friend Eveyln and sparks fly. Mable has been crushing on Walker since she saw his picture on Mabel's phone. I absolutely loved that Walker found love and Mabel is so perfect for him. This is a short, sweet, age gap romance between two people who find each other at the right time. A quick insta love read. Walker is still haunted by nightmares from his past but is able to ease the pain with Evelyn’s help. Evelyn is smart snd hardworking wanting to own her own catering business. This is a well-written story, fast-paced with an entertaining quick to read older man/ younger woman storyline. Walker meets Evelyn when she visits her friend Mabel(Walker's niece) in hospital to meet the new baby....Walker is instantly smitten with the beauty who walks through the door. He knows between the baby and Evelyn, he's ready to open his heart to new love.. sweet story.

If you have not read book 1 2 3 you need to go back and read those books before you read this one . This series is so good I love the characters the storylines is awesome I can't get enough. This book is worth the read .

Loved now that you get all the backstory with this one, which also relates Mabel’s storyline. Enjoyed that Walker finds happiness and helps put to rest some of his guilt that was out of his control. The ending to the Baked In series wrapped up everything nice and sweet.

I loved this book! With tragedy behind him, Walker will come to Wylder Bluffs for a happy occasion and it will bring him to the one woman he can’t live without, Evelyn. He only means to visit but fate has other plans for him.

Through The Pain
Walker has been punishing himself for years for something he is NOT responsible for. I loved this book for getting me share his pain but more importantly his healing. This age gap love story has some of the most touching, soul searching and self realized writing. Just WOW!!!👍

What a wonderful story. Walker and Evelyn are such a well matched pair. I love how they clicked from the very beginning and the chemistry they have is sizzling. Evelyn has the ability to help Walker deal with his feelings and nightmares he has been struggling without even realizing she is doing it. A fast paced read with a wonderful story and a great HEA.

This feels like the main character himself is telling his love story. Of how he found his muse, his redemption, his love and he is about to propose. I wish I can witness that.
