Australia: The South Land of the Holy Spirit

A look at the history of European colonisers to Australia through a Christian lens. The 14th May – the day of Pentecost 2006 - marked the 400 year anniversary of a European calling Australia the ‘South Land of the Holy Spirit’. The same year a Dutch ship, recorded the first contact between Indigenous Australians and Europeans.
