Liam: Der Weg des Wolfes

Rate this book
Ein schwangerer Omega auf der Flucht und ein heißer, brummiger Alpha ergeben zusammen eine ziemlich explosive Mischung.

Eli will raus aus seinem goldenen Käfig.

I liked that Elis mating bite from Steve started to fade bc it wasn't a real bond. I've never read that before.
It was a cute lil story. Rolled my eyes a few times, but I had fun.

I didn't like being in Steve's pov. Total dick. I'm glad Eli told him the babies weren't his.

Off to the next brother.

Liam Griffin is a grumpy shifter who thought he didn't want love, until he met an omega who came to stay at his family lodge. After a family tragedy that tore he and his brothers apart while condemning their remaining parent to death, he resigned himself to staying away from others.

Eli Reeves is an omega who is being abused by his forced alpha. Unfortunately, it was a business transaction and Eli was seen as nothing more than a financial commodity. After Eli ends up with a black eye and discovers he is pregnant, he does the only thing he knows to keep he and his pregnancy safe...he leaves.

Eli ends up on the doorstep of a broken down lodge far away from prying eyes and into the heart of his true mate. Both men have their guards up, and understandably so. Liam never expects to feel so protective of the omega. Eli sees the beauty in Liam that he refuses to see in himself.

Imagine the shock and anger that his brothers display when they find out an omega is at the lodge. They all see trouble on the horizon. Enough of that has cost them dearly, but Liam refuses to back down. Eli is his to love and protect.

After time way from his abusive alpha, the true mate begins to form and Eli's old mating mark begins to disappear. Breaking the forced mating hold he once had.

Unfortunately, Steve isn't giving up. His inheritance depends on his ability to produce heirs. Steve's father and Eli's family are just as cruel and cunning as his former alpha.

In the end, Lucas and Logan more than rise to the occasion to protect their newfound family members.

Everything works out with a few surprises.

Running isn't exactly living!

I loved this book and I am eager to read the next two in the series, I generally find shifter books are either really good or just blah! This one was fantastic!
Liam is the oldest of three grumpy, growly werebear shifters, because of their father's wrongs the townsfolk shun them and they punish themselves with a solitary, tension filled existance...until Eli lands on their doorstep. The moment he sees him Liam knows Eli is in trouble, trouble he would normally avoid, but Eli is his, his fated mate and he cannot turn him away. Eli gives Liam a reason to live and it is great to see Liam emerge from being uptight, grouchy and a little cold into a thoughtful, loving, protective and happy guy, with a very happy and settled bear!
Eli realises he needs to escape to protect himself and his unborn cub, but he has been abused by his family and then by Steve, he has no idea who he can trust or if the things he has been told about Omega's alone in the world are true...but he knows he will die if he stays with Steve. He may be runninv but for the first time ever he feels freedom and his self doubt begins to fade, could he possibly make a new future for himself and his baby? He meets Liam, a huge, grizzly Alpha and although he is a little intimidated by his size he also feels safe and like he is....home. Can it really be true? Has he found a safehaven and possibly even.....a mate?
I loved that a timid battered Omega was able to have such a calming effect on the three alpha brothers, showing them that they are worthy of love and respect too. Fantastic! And available on Kindle Unlimited too! Bring on book 2...

when you meet your true mate
Eli had never truly felt love. His family never valued him other than he was a Omega so they could use him to make good connections when he was old enough to mate. And that is what had happened to him. They had given him to Steve a mentally abusive Alpha who made his life hell. Steve forced a mate bite on Eli but he knew he wasn't his true mate. All Steve wanted was a slave to look after him and a baby. He had kept him from everyone, not allow friends. But he had gone one step too far when he left him with a black eye. Eli knew if he stayed he would hit him again and now he had something to fight for. Eli was pregnant.
Once he knows that Steve has gone out Eli makes plans to runaway. He had found a place called Grizzly Mountain Lodge on a computer search.
Eli gets ready looks around and hopes he never sees Steve's home again.
When he finally reaches the lodge he is taken back at how run down the place looks but its the perfect place to hide out. When the owner comes out Liam is thrown for six he looks at the Omega in front of him and he has a feeling of protectiveness about him. He will do anything for him. But Liam has his own problem and has a secret and he just hopes that Eli will see pass it.
This is a brilliant read. I really liked Eli and Liam. I even liked the grumpy brothers. And im super excited to hear their stories. The story was very addictive and i found the plot exciting. This is a short and sweet read and I am super excited for Fel Fern's next book Bring it on!!!!

Can a runaway pregnant Omega wolf find safety and love with a grumpy bear? Oh yeah!

What a wonderful first book in the new Grizzly Mountain Lodge series! I will definitely reading the rest of the series. This book has it all: an abused, pregnant, daring Omega wolf, a grumpy grizzly Alpha, fated mates, two equally grumpy brothers, a vile abusive ex, danger, unwavering support, and rogues. Eli runs from his gilded cage & an abusive, arranged mating. Fleeing to a remote lodge, he immediately feels safe. Liam & his brothers Lucas & Logan are feared by the townspeople, because their father went rogue. But Eli isn't afraid. As his mating mark fades away, Eli knows he was meant to be with Liam. Liam accepts that Eli is his mate. He doesn't care that Eli is carrying another man's child. Their love will unite the brothers into a new family. Even the appearance of Steve, Eli's ex, can't change things. Yes, there is abuse, Yes, there is violence, shifter violence. But it is necessary to advance the story. Ooh. Did I mention babies? You will love this book!
This book contains adult themes and language, mm sex and is intended for mature readers only.

Abusive Alphaholes & Rogues

Omegas were not treated as equal citizens in this Omegaverse. Omegas were thought of as no better than Humans who were lowest on the Shifter dominance chain. Families didn't value Omegas - only bargaining chips for family alliances. Horror stories were told of what happens to unprotected Omegas who ventured into the outside world by his family/parents and his arranged mate. The courageous young man experienced excitement, joy, fear, and panic when he got his first taste of freedom.

The scared Runaway Omega didn't like being treated like a commodity, servant, punching bag, or sex slave. What he didn't mind were the other men - who temporarily diverted his so called "owner's" attention away from him. What the Lonely Omega stumbled across in plotting his escape were three tough, snarky Alpha Grizzly Bear brothers. As much as he changed the life of one of the Alphas, he benefited as well as the other two brothers. Life wasn't easy, but it was so much more happier for all concerned.

Ultimately this is a story of reputation, grief, guilt, rage, brotherhood, and the healing power of love.

Eli Reeves, a pregnant omega, has been abused by the partner he would never acknowledge as a mate, the one who should have cherished and cared for him. Even Eli’s family treated him as an object to be traded away or sold. Now the physical violence had started. Now carrying a child, Eli could not imagine putting that child at risk of Steve’s temper. So Eli chose to leave and sought sanctuary at Grizzly Mountain Lodge when fate took him there. Liam runs the lodge that his parents had left to him and his brothers, and he didn’t have the heart to turn the feisty Eli away. It doesn’t take long for Liam to realize he wants Eli to stay… forever. Can a snarly werebear and a werewolf Omega find a HEA that will heal both of them?

This is a good story of second chances to find happiness. The characters are well-depicted and likable as they find strength and courage to not give up and to take a chance of making things right. Grab your copy and see if they both find what they needed all along.

This sweet, heartwarming Mpreg romance was really an enjoyable read. The plot is delightfully well-written & entertaining with likable characters that are quite unique & they develop good chemistry between them while they go on their emotional journey of discovery as they continue to develop throughout the story-line. There is good support from the secondary characters.
There is: a pregnant male omega wolf shifter (Eli) finally develops a bit of a backbone & goes on the run, away from his despicable abusive alpha (Steve) & comes into contact with a alpha male grizzly shifter (Liam) & his brothers (Lucas & Logan) at their mountain lodge then the attractions begin to flare but there is danger on the horizon, various kinds of shifters, mates, rogues, some twists, drama, intrigue, threats, danger, threats, confrontations, conflict, violence, memories, insecurities, strange attractions, fantasies, sibling disagreements, protectiveness, contentment, love, contentment, some steam & a happy conclusion for this couple.

Just because you're small, does not make you weak! Eli, is an Omega wolf. Steve is his forced mate, arranged by their families. He was the first Omega born into his family in generations. He was with Steve 6 months and Steve started getting physically abusive. He didn't tell Steve he was pregnant and decided to run away knowing Steve would only escalate his physical abuse. He knew he was not safe in Nestor City where his wealthy family saw him as an asset to leverage. He decides to go to South Pine, Montana. He booked lodging. Did he erase his browser? Liam is an Alpha grizzly bear. He and his brothers keep the lodge open, in memory of their parents. They never have paying guests until Eli/Ben arrived. The brothers, Lian, Logan and Lucas were taken aback by the not submissive Omega. Do they let Ben/Eli stay? Does Liam act on his attraction? Wat does he think of Steve's fading mark on Eli? Is Eli still feeling brave? Very nice story. All the brothers have their own unique personalities it will be fun getting to know. Does Steve ever find Eli? Well done!

This is a new series and the way it starts off, I can't wait for the next book. I really enjoyed this story. It is engaging, well written and fun. Eli an omega werewolf shifter escapes from the home life prison where he was held captive and abused. He had never gone out into the world alone but to save his unborn child he makes the momentous decision to leave. He ends up at the Grizzly Mountain Lodge. It is there that he meets the innkeeper Liam, an alpha grizzly shifter. Liam is the oldest of three brothers who are keeping their parents memory alive with the lodge. They actually didn't expect any real guests so Liam is surprised when Eli shows up. Wanting to turn him away but unable to send the worn out pregnant Omega out into the driving rain, Eli and Liam's adventure begins. Eli quickly becomes the glue that brings the three brothers and the lodge to life. I loved the book.

Eli finds his true mate...

Loved it! This story was so good. Eli who is an abused pregnant omega finally gets up the courage to leave his abusive keeper...hate to call him mate/partner because their is totally no love between the two. Thank goodness he stumbles upon the Grizzly Mountain Lodge. There he meets his soul mate in Liam. Liam and his brothers were so broken until Eli came into their lives. This was a sweet story about second chances on both sides. Yes it has some violence but just the right amount mixed in with the sweet romance to keep this a page turner that keep you wishing the story will continue. Hopefully we will get more with the rest of the brothers and their soul mates.

"Liam" received TWO AND A HALF stars.

The plot moved fast, which in some instances was good, others it felt like too many parts of the story had been cut.

The novel gained *stars* for these items:

* gained for: "The book caught my interest in the first five pages."

1/2 * gained for: "I thought about the book when I was forced to set it down and re-enter society."

* gained for: "There were no info dumps, poor writing, or copy edit mistakes that jerked me out of the story."

The novel failed to gain stars for this item:

NO STAR gained for: "I was sad when the book ended. I wanted more!"

NO STAR gained for: "That's it. I'm hooked on this author. I will automatically try anything she/he/they writes."

Liam is book 1 in the Grizzly Mountain Lodge series. This is an enjoyable mpreg story as Eli, a pregnant omega, runs away from his abusive mate and finds himself at a mountain lodge run by three brothers, Liam, Logan, and Lucas. Liam takes a protective interest in Eli and they become closer the more time Eli spends at the lodge. I love how strong Eli is. He made a choice to protect his unborn child and found his true mate in Liam. Having Eli around is good for the brothers and the lodge. I look forward to more from this series.

Eli is a pregnant Omega. His "mate" Steve has gone from just verbal to now physical abuse. Eli realizes he needs to leave for his well being and that of the baby. His family chose Steve as a mate. He packs and runs while Steve is at work. He finds Grizzly Mountain Lodge and the werebear brothers who run it. Liam, Logan and Lucas have felt cursed and dark since their mom died, their dad went rogue and they had to put him down. But Liam feels the spark of the mate bond with Eli and hope for happiness. Love the ending.

Great story

3.5☆
Great character development and an interesting storyline. Eli is an omega wolf shifter who finally breaks away from a lifetime of being belittled and abused. Liam is a gruff alpha bear, he and his brothers run the lodge and are gfeared by the locals. The attraction is instant between Eli and Liam and soon a connection develops that leads them to love and a heartwarming HEA.
This book seriously needs editing - it detracted from the story and often took me out of the moment. Otherwise this was an enjoyable story.

A thoroughly enjoyable story

I really enjoyed reading this story. The storyline was strong and easy to follow. The characters in this story are endearing but strong. The tow main characters bounced well off each other. There was an instant attraction that they fought against at first, but eventually they caved and enjoyed their love for each other and recognised their fated mate.

I thoroughly encourage anyone who enjoys mpreg shifter stories, to grab a comfortable chair and enjoy reading this story.

Okay

More or less what I expected, but for someone who wrote lots of books, the number of errors was eye-opening. Way, way too many. There's no reward for lack of proofreading.

Abused omega wolf, Eli, runs away from his not-a-mate to this out of the lodge where he meets his fated mate, bear shifter, Liam.

Kindle owned, freebie, book in series, standalone, paranormal, wolf shifters, bear shifter, alpha/omega

Big growly Alpha, Brave Omega

Battered pregnant omega Eli decides he needs to flee his current situation before he and/or his unborn child gets irreparably hurt. He ends up at Grizzly Lodge run by the Griffin brothers. Sweet story, my personal favorite ending, HEA. Not complicated, simple, no major twists or turns, some family tensions. Could definitely do with some editing for grammar, missing words, and so forth.

Good story but...

Love the premise of the book, three alpha brothers living together and trying to live down their late father's mistake. Eli and Liam are a great match and the story flowed well. However, I did have an issue with numerous grammatical errors. For example, wrong tense and missing words in sentences. Still, I did enjoy Eli and Liam's story. Warning: brief mention of mental and physical abuse.

Good Story, Needs Editing

I enjoyed this book, and thought it had a great start, but it needs some editing help. There are missing words, incorrect words, and spacing issues. None of them make the story unreadable, but it does pull the reader from the story. I'm hoping the errors aren't common, because I'd like to read more of the series.

First book in the girzzy mountain lodge series and i really enjoyed it. Liam and his brothers are funny, adorable and incredibly likeable. Eli is a pregnant Omega on the run from his mate and family, he books in at the brothers lodge looking to only stay for six nights bit ends up staying for a lot longer. Can’t wait to get to Logan and Billy’s story.

This was such a cute read. I really like Eli’s backbone in this. As an omega, he had always been treated as less and as a piece of property. He finally stands up for himself and I really enjoyed that aspect of this story.

Liam was gruff and grumpy and everything I love in growly alphas. Once he decides that Eli was his, he didn’t let anything stand in his way. An overall cute omegaverse read.

Eli escaped from an abusive situation and had found the love of his life, Liam (bear shifter), who owned a lodge in the mountains with his two brothers. There was intrigue, some violence, passion, family, and love. This was a very enjoyable and captivating read.
