I think I just hate read this. I hate it so much. The writing sucks ass. It’s so bad. I hated both Jack and Suzy (I think that’s her name). Abysmal writing, terrible grammar, inconsistent verb tenses, repeated and incessant use of ellipses, sometimes in the same sentence. This was unreadable. To anyone who powered through to get to the pumpkin man sex, I applaud you. I couldn’t do it. This was shit.

Now THIS was a proper Halloween read. You got a witch casting a spell summoning a pumpkin-headed demon who's been obsessed with her for two years and is ready to finally take what's his, and some humour thrown in too.

Some of the things that got me, other than the fact that he tastes like pumpkin spice syrup, were the 4 balls (why 4? More cum!! That is a legit line I'm screaminggggg), the pumpkin lube and the bottling of Jack's...juices.

I'm looking forward to Layla Fae's other Halloween books now, I'm sure they'll be very educational mhm.

I read this book for a handful of reasons:
*Quick read
*Monster p0rn. Duh.
*CURIOSITY.
*It was recommended in a reader group.

A lot of OMGs, lots of laughs, and plenty of ‘WTF DID I JUST READs.’

Was I shocked? Eh, maybe a little. I knew what I was getting into. Do I recommend it? Definitely. Only to those who can read it and know it’s all in fun and who are fans of monster romance/porn/erotica.

Pumpkin spice will never taste the same. ;)
