Cade (The Pursuit Series )He thought they were destined to be together – until a tragedy tore them apart.
Cade Decker?
I must have been dreaming. There was just no way he was real. He couldn’t be. Things like this just didn’t happen. Cade Decker left five years ago without looking back and that was the end of it.
I would recognize those deep hazel eyes anywhere.
I clutched my stomach, transforming myself back into the girl I was all those years ago. The girl who damn near lost her mind the first moment she first saw Cade, who got caught up in the intensity of his gaze…
Filled to the brim with wild emotions, mystery, and a dash of thrilling suspense! This romance series is perfect for fans of second chance and military romance!
This book is filled with action, mystery, suspense, murder, and a psychopath. This is a story of a second chance romance that is told in a 5 part serial series. Tally and Cade had been together in high school but they kept their relationship quite because of Debs. Debs was Cade's Twin and Tally's best friend. On the night of their graduation party, when they were going to come out in the open about the relationship, Debs is brutally murdered. Their plans change and Cade joins the military and Tally stays home and becomes a nurse. They both blame themselves for what happened to Debs. Five years later Cade ends up back in their home town. Just as Cade comes home girls start turning up dead the same way Debs was murdered. From their things get crazy, you won't be able to put the book down until you are finished. I would definitely recommend reading this book.
I received a free ARC of this book in exchange for an honest and voluntary review.
A high school murder and misplaced guilt. The story is fast paced, but I am not sure why it is in five parts. Each part has a bit of cliffhanger, but the end is wrapped up neatly in the fifth part. I felt parts were predictable, but it was still an entertaining read.
Cade and Tally’s second chance love story was a good read. They experience a tragedy that caused their lives to take different turns than planned. Then Cade and Tally come face to face again. There’s suspense, wonder and shock. But they come together and get their happily ever after after all.
I received an ARC copy of this book for an honest review.
This story got very intense a time or two. In fact, I had to put it down a couple of times. But it comes to a happy ending, and we like that part. Thank you for your time, Talent and the story.
