Secure Her This was an incredible book and Saoirse and Zach were a fantastic couple. There was violence and cruelty and love and devotion; death and birth; excitement and action as well as peace and calm, in fact everything a reader could want to keep them riveted to the story. I couldn’t put it down and lost sleep reading until I found out what happened. I have really enjoyed all the Secure books but this one has to be my favourite and I can’t recommend it enough.
Secure Decision The basis for this story is evil and ugly but unfortunately happens all too often but above all of the betrayal and abuse this is a love story full of twists and turns and exciting plot twists. Ellie and Wes are so good together and so supportive of each other. That Ellie has survived at all is remarkable and testament to her strength. That she is such a sweetheart having gone through everything she has and still become an incredible therapist is amazing she has been betrayed so many times by those who should protect her. The Chase team are her salvation and it was wonderful to see Troy other than over a video link. Wes is a rock and I honestly don’t know when he gets any sleep and yet he takes care of Ellie and runs the training centre, watches over Troy and puts his paramedic skills to good use. The ending was beautiful and now I can’t wait for Troy’s story.
Secure Return Man’s inhumanity to man came to mind as I read this amazing story. Troy has always been a figure behind the veil so to speak and it was great to finally read his story along with Gwen’s. It is a harrowing story and not easy to read sometimes, but it is a compelling read that is hard to put down once started. The attention to detail is incredible and the plot(s) are all too real unfortunately but no less important because of their horrific nature. The story moves between the past and the present and ties them together seamlessly and there are no loose ends. There are some very emotional parts so have a tissue handy.
Brilliant. Powerful. Emotional. Heart wrenching. Romance that evolves during desperate times. Family by choice. Fast paced and exciting. Nothing more needs to be said.
