This was a very good and very interesting book! The topics tackled were heavy but the way the author told this story held me as reader captivated. I’d recommend this book to anyone looking for great writing, great chemistry, and steamy sessions…. This is the book for you 💖

Loved it!!
I’m not going to lie…I was expecting this story go in a different direction. Normally when I read stories that have BDSM there is a huge emphasis on that and while you get a back story its never quite enough. But this one…Danielle did her thing!! I had a favorite couple of hers but Freddie and AJ have me thinking I should change it. I loved their journey. I literally finished in three hours and it would have been shorter had I not kept going back and rereading parts. Their story lept off the pages and kept me interested. It was an amazing read

Sexy but emotional read!
This was a departure from what this author normally writes but she delivered! You could tell she did her research because the story felt authentic, not forced. Talk about two emotional stories in one. Kismet intervened because Freddie and AJ definitely needed each other beyond what took place in his Dom den. This story was heartbreaking where in both instances you witness how parents selfishness can put their children's lives in danger. I would love an update on AJ and Freddie because they deserve an HEA, for real, for real.

This book is so well done. It’s sexy, deeeeeep, erotic and just satisfying as heck 🙂💪🏾💪🏾. From beginning to end it takes you on a romantic ride that I didn’t want to get off of.
The characters are so well written and their stories pulled me in and I was treated to a glimpse of life and love that was so encompassing. All of it was very well done.
And the word building, whew! I definitely recommend this book.

Okaaaaaayyyy!
This book was just perfect. We got a great dose of BDSM erotica but just as much love and backstory to make this book so very enjoyable. I absolutely loved these two main characters. The things they both went through were so terrible and they were what each other needed in their lives. Trust and believe me guys you definitely want to read this book.

I really enjoyed how Starlight gave way to Freddie, it's just sad that she had to go through so much hurt to get there. AJ was a good book bae, and his back story was quite interesting. It's too bad that things like what happened in his family do indeed exist in real life.
The BDSM wasn't as intense as I would have liked. Hot, but low flames, not smokey and steamy. I was irritated when that large check was deposited via mobile app. Lol!
Hopefully we get more of these from Ms. Burton.

Surprisingly good!
I surprisingly loved this book! Freddie was not at all who people thought she was. It took her some time, but she finally stood in her truth and blossomed. I wasn’t sure I liked AJ at first but he grew on me. I loved how both of them helped each other deal with their family traumas and how their love for one another grew. Glad I took a chance and read this book!
