Flying Bullets in Devil's Territory: A Historical Western Adventure Book

Rate this book
The only thing missing from Noah Bradshaw’s peaceful farm life is a chance to marry the beautiful Ruth Younger, the woman of his dreams. Unfortunately, fate has other plans for him... When folks around Willow Bend start mysteriously disappearing, everyone rushes to attribute it to a supposedly cursed cave at the base of Willow Peak. However, when Ruth's brother vanishes off the face of the earth, followed by Noah's brother as well, the brave farmer is determined to find them at any cost.

Will Noah manage to get to the bottom of a dark mystery even when all the signs show that he's signing his own death sentence?

Luckily for him, Noah has Ruth on his side, and together they begin a perilous journey towards a giant mousetrap. It’s not too long before they realize that it’s not witches they must contend with, but ruthless criminals ready to disperse fear and death. From that moment on, it all comes down to one choice; risk it all in order to rescue their brothers and the other prisoners from men who will not hesitate to shoot them on sight.

Serving justice is a risky path full of obstacles...

Outnumbered and outgunned, Noah and Ruth hatch a desperate plan to save their kin. Yet, even before they can put their plan into effect, Noah is called on to show how fast he can draw his pistol. Will Noah and Ruth survive the perilous mission and rescue their loved ones? Will they take down the ruthless figures who want to see the world burn?

A pulse-pounding drama, which will make you turn the pages with bated breath until the very last word. A must-read for fans of Western adventure and romance.

"Flying Bullets in Devil's Territory" is a historical adventure novel of approximately 60,000 words. No cliffhangers, only pure unadulterated action.

Noah has his hands full from beginning to end, as there are no slow downs in this exciting story!

As always with Mr. Grayson's exciting series of ongoing adventures, this compelling series of one exciting episode after the other will definitely appease anyone's desired expectations! I was unable to put this compassionately heartwarming series of unending excitement aside until the final paragraph had been completed!
The Author's outstanding storylines successfully maintains your undivided attention immediately and the excitement never wanes! The outstandingly descriptive characters were effectively chosen for their compelling assignments! Even the bad guys devilment was interesting throughout the entire series of ongoing western excitement!
I sincerely recommend this superbly entertaining revelations of unending adventures to all but especially to you western folklore addicted fanatics, as your undivided attention is captured immediately, and each new episode supersedes the previous one! You non-western readers will definitely enjoy following these dedicated individuals in their quest to bring justice to those responsible for wrongful misdeeds throughout the entire book!!!😃

Action packed adventure with suspense

Ruth and Noah have been neighbors for some years but lacked the nerve to start a relationship. Suddenly one day Randy went missing. Randy is Ruth’s brother. The next day or two later Isaiah was taken. This had been going on for sometime without any clues as to who was the culprit. Ruth and Noah were determined to go out looking for their brothers. It took them into the mountains which were said to be haunted and dangerous. It leads them to an illegal gold mine where the missing were being used to mine it. The adventure begins.

I enjoy historical fiction and this book did fine. But - the editing was terrible. The subjects would make a statement, and there was a question mark at the end of it - multiple sentences. Another thing I noticed was the use of British words where we would not use them (ex. sat instead of sitting). Also, I don't know if Grayson's trying to sound like the old west, or it's his natural writing, but sentences didn't flow; he used too many words where just a few would've been fine. And "Pards" - never heard that shortened version but in his books.

Enjoyable Reading

I enjoyed reading a book I could let my younger children read and not worry about the language. Great storyline and seems very convincing to have really happened in those wild days of the west.

Greed

How someone’s greed can hurt so many people is hard to believe. Thanks to a sister and a brothers love they will not give up until they rescue them all.
