First read by this author, and I am hooked! If you are looking for suspense, drama, secrets, lies, a whole lot of violence with a dash of love; this is it! This read quickly went from zero to a million, you hear me?? 😂 It was so action packed, there were times when my heart was racing and I literally ducked and was dodging bullets while reading, it was that intense! The characters were smart, talented, loyal, and badass all at the same time! Just when we thought things had calmed, here comes the ish again! What is up with Grant? He is no regular firefighter! Not with those connections to the underworld! What?? Can't wait for Callum's story next! Great start to the series! 👍👍👍

Action Packed Ride!
When Dorian and Sabrina see each other for the first time there is an instant attraction (especially on his end) but events of that night prevent them from getting to know each other. Years later they’re reunited and instantly hit it off. As they’re navigating their new relationship, danger comes looking for Sabrina. Secrets are revealed and it takes an entire extended family to deal with these secrets!
I liked this book a lot. All the characters were likable on their own ways and you just wanted to spend more time with this big extended family. They say there was a beast inside Dorian but I don’t felt like we really got to see it. He was protective sure but no more than any other alpha male. I was glad Sabrina was able to get in on the action though.
This had a little of everything romance, suspense, tons of action. It kept my attention from start to finish.
The only reason this isn’t a 5 star is there were some grammatical errors. While they didn’t take away from the story or my enjoyment of it, one more pass and this would be perfect. Also, I wasn’t a fan of the implied thing with Zara and Grant but that’s just my personal preference. Also I though for sure after the tease there would be a pregnancy but nope!

What a masterpiece!! Worth 10⭐'s!!
Where do I even begin to describe the magnificence of this book?! There is WAY to much to unpack. As the 1st installment of this series this book had be glued from beginning to end. Dorian is a no nonsense cop who fell hard for Sabrina a culinary student at a community event that got interrupted by gunfire. Years later their worlds would intersect again. But unbeknownst to them their lives were about to change.
This book was everything! Phoenix Rizen brought her A, B, and her C game. This is the ultimate mafia book! So much drama, action, suspense, romance and heat! I loved how each character had their unique talents. Even Sabrina! Who knew?! I'll never look at a Ginsu knife infomercial the same way again. Uh uh. The women ALONE were some bad behind chicks. And what's up with Tina? That girl is SCARY! I can't wait to read her story. Like I said there's too much to unpack. You HAVE to read the book. And trust me, it does not disappoint. At all. 💯% amazing! I can't wait for Callum's story. I'm definitely a new fan.

What!!????
This book was off the hook. Talk about non-stop action... I didn't want to put it down. There were some typo's but they weren't bad enough to mess up the entire story. I can't wait to read Callum's story and to find out exactly who all are the members of the new company

I loved it
I love this couple & the supporting cast. I loved the family vibe of this story. Its a great action romance with humor & plot twists. I'm excited this is going to be a series. I love myke!! I hope it's her with cal. I cannot wait to read the next one.

Great! Next please!
This was an excellent read. All charters have well thought out storylines. Very few grammatical errors and the flow of the story was perfect. I will definitely enjoy reading again before book 2 comes out.

Just Gangster!!
This was one adventure ,you are going to want to take.The writer weaves a story that is so good that you don't know you are hooked until you are well into the story. The writer gives us a little bit of everything and them some. We get a cast of characters that are likable and relateable. This was a well written and thought out story ,with one heck of a plot.So looking forward to the next installment of what promises to be a spectacular series.

Dorian (The Watchful Eye Series Book 1) is the first book of the series and my first read by this author. I love romantic suspense with all the action, explosions, knifefights, gunfights and car chases. This book introduced us to all of the characters, Sheroes, Heroes and Villains. These men are off the chain but these women are straight up @$$kickers and the sexy scenes are off the charts!! I'm so excited for book 2. Phoenix Rizen ,awesome job!!! I'm anticipating the next book!❤😉

Too Hot To Handle!!!
This was My first read by Phoenix Rizen. This book was everything and more. It gave romance, passion, mafia,action, high speed chases, mystery, and the importance of family.Dorian was an amazing read and I can't wait for The next Watchful Eye installment CALLUM.

Well!!! this was very different yet very familiar;
First time reading this author and it was actually very good after I pushed through to read it all the way to the end. This was very good yet all too familiar. It actually remind me of a Jack reacher, Bourn identity or any action type of movie where it’s a never ending action and book 1 which is about the Mob/Mafia has it in spades.
I like it and at the same time, didn’t like it because reading that type of genre or watching it, it’s completely different and I prefer watching it than reading about it.
That said, I do believe that these characters minus Dorian and Callum were perfect. I thought Dorian, for the book to be named after him, was too soft, too sheman…. I mean Brina was more man than anything and let’s not talk about the others, Devin, Trace, Grant and to me the best was Dante.
Now the ladies, I personally loved Sabrina, and Zara; all of the others from Myke to Tina to Reece is a no go for me in the relationship scheme but in the bad ass one, well they are the TRUTH!!!!
I don’t think I will be reading anymore of this series only because it was just too much of action with not a lot of Romance .
You can tell this author is extremely comfortable writing about fighting and weaponry etc… than romance and whatnot. I mean these people do not go on dates, to the clubs, do their nails or simply have couple stuff, so unless she comes out with something in this vicinity with the white male black woman moto but with tons of romance sprinkled with some actions, I will wait because not only is there a pattern (book 1 is the mob, book 2 is the gangster/kingpin/Cartel) I prefer watching my actions than reading them: it just not the same feeling!

This is a new author on the scene. But don't let that fool you. The Watchful Eye , Inc series will be one to watch. This first book in the series Dorian is full of masterful men & women who can be gentle but know to use whatever is at hand & handle business. There is mystery of secrets, sibling rivalry, betrayal, loss & love found. Dorian is all male but has such a tenderness for Sabrina. Sabrina is no ones pushover & can hold her own. While Dorian is all law enforcement. Sabrina has many talents but cooking at her own restaurant is her main joy. It was a pleasure to read of professional women handling business. Guys shouldn't get to have all the fun. Together with a wonderful cast of characters you will be rooting for them all to handle business. The romantic relationship between Dorian & Sabrina have a great chemistry between them wether making love or just laying the foundation of a positive relationship grounded in respect, loyalty & love. I enjoyed this & cannot wait to the next in the series. ❤

But, a drive by shooting occurred and Dorian being on Patrol had to protect the kids and people that Attended the function. Dorian missed his chances with Sabrina at that time. Some years later he was invited by Zara Callum's sister to dinner at her friend's new restaurant. He meets Sabrina again and they decide to pursue a relationship after spending time to get to know each other. Meanwhile, Sabrina mom's past put her in danger to be killed. Sabrina learn secrets her mother kept from her as she finds out about the threat against her. Dorian, A seasoned detective and Sabrina, an up and coming chef, first see each other while serving at a community center. Gun fire erupts and the opportunity to speak to each other is missed. Eight years later, they meet again when Dorian meets with mutual friends to have dinner at her restaurant. Sparks fly and kindred souls meet.
Lots of intrigue! Add in mob bosses, unsolved murders and current orders for execution, and you have a makings for some exciting reading!! I totally enjoyed reading this and look forward to getting the sequel!! Question: Will Sabrina's dad, Grant, reveal his dark connections in the sequel? Will he have a love connection will Callum' sister. What about the Angels of Death and their MC connection?

Like at first sight, to connection at second meet to love and HEA...TWE has fire, passion, and action. Once the momentum picks up, it's like a 🎢 so get ready for the ride. Sabrina and Dorian was a match made perfectly.
However, for me personally (just ME)...I don't care for the pairs that was hinted throughout this book. Well at 2: first, Callum BUT mainly, Zara & (_)??? Why, the idea of them being together is weird. Not only because of the age, but the change of dynamic from friend to step parent of a person that is the same age as you 🤔 no matter how they spin it, it's going to be weird.
Devin, is who I look forward to. I hope Rizen pair him with Knives (you'll understand once you read this)....She's a badA and he's INSANE. A pair like that makes a great read, lol.

I always feel like somebody’s watching me
They’re eyes everywhere and Sabrina is none the wiser. She’s just an aspiring restaurateur who’s opened up her first restaurant and rental space. She caught the eye of a police officer Dorian years ago and as fate would have it she has caught his eye again after meeting through a mutual acquaintance. Their eyes connect and the attraction and chemistry is instant. There are more eyes on her tho and these eyes have ears and long arms that can reach far. A series of events brings some revelations of her past and new relationships. She will be protected at all costs and under their watchful eyes.
I enjoyed book one. It had a great pace, storyline and characters. The plot was excellent and the budding romance between Dorian and Sabrina was a nice touch. The heroes and heroines are fierce!

Great book!
I loved reading about Dorian and Sabrina! Their love was timeless! They saw each other eight years before they met again and it was a wild ride ever since. I really enjoyed all of the secondary characters, but was disappointed that her parents were not able to reunite. With all of the angst from his father and brother, I felt that they should have had a gotcha moment together. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed Grant's presence in the book, but would have really liked it if her parents made it out together. That said, this was still a great book that I enjoyed reading and I look forward to Callum's story!

Outstanding
You will love,love this book. It is fast moving with many twists and turns . Great family-friends dynamic and very powerful and strong characters. The bravery of both the males and females will keep you involved and cheering for the good guys. There violence and cruelty in this book but this evil dose not survive. The love making is intense, sizzling hot and passionate. You will kept at the edge of your chair and totally involved in the storyline. I am looking forward to the next book. Outstanding overall rating. You will not be disappointed by selecting this book.

Can't judge a book ......Sabrina and Dorian
Very intense read. Most of the characters presented a surface view of who they, but once you dig a little deeper a different person is presented. Sabrina and Dorian chance meetings after 8 years leads everyone on a wild ride.
There were family structures that are complexe with a few twisted and turns. Ao much was packed in this story.
Lovers strong women in the story.

This was an extremely intense, gripping story
I must be honest I didn't expect to like it at all as this is a new author to me, I thought I would not like it. So glad I gave this book a chance.
The fast pace and storyline were brilliantly written, it felt like a film - fast action film.
I like that the main characters were not soppy and had back bone, Sabrina was feisty when needed and all the characters had developed storylines which were just as interesting as the main characters. Well excited to read the next instalment.

Oh My Goodness
Love the cover, this is one of the best books I have read in a while. I love Dorian he is my new book boyfriend. If you like strong alpha men and equally strong women you will love this. There is so much I want to say but I don't want to be a spoiler. This book is Action Packed, hot cops, gun toting , knife slicing ladies. Oh I forgot 🔥🔥🔥 sex between Dorian and Sabrina. We do have a HEA, but it short lived, looks like the crime families are gearing up again. Looking forward to book 2, Kudos to the author 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

Wonderful Start
It's hard to believe this is the author's first book. I loved all the action and romance. Reading this story was a real adrenaline rush. The world building was so realistic, I had to keep reminding myself that this is the first story in the series and the other characters' stories haven't been written yet. I am so looking forward to the next book. I am hooked on the mystery of just who all these people really are.

The world building was so realistic, I had to keep reminding myself that this is the first story in the series and the other characters' stories haven't been written yet. I am so looking forward to the next book. I am hooked on the mystery of just who all these people really are.

I have a new author to follow
Great story. Drama galore! Loved the story of Dorian and Sabrina. Lots of side characters that I would love to read about. I know Callum is next but want Devin to get his story.
I als need to know the back story regarding Callum and his brothers and sister Zara. Who is adopted and how that came about.
Good long story with edge of your seat drama. A few missing words but you are able to supply them.

Good start
This was surprisingly good. It was action packed with only a few slow parts and a few errors, but not enough to distract from the story. I cannot wait for Callum's story and the other stories I think are shaping up. Spoiler: I really hope the author does not make Grant and Zara a thing. I dnt think I could stomach that match up. The bff of Sabrina hooking up with her dad....not cool. Anywho, this was a good read and I loved Dorian and Brian's story.

WOW
I heard about this series through Author Sonja B ..I asked, is this a paranormal?...was told no...I downloaded both books...this was sooooo good ..a page turner from beginning to end...the twist and turns had me up til 3:34a.m. to finish...the cast of characters are ruthless...I love love love it...I like how watchful eye was formed...I like the dynamics of the staff...I like the gangsta elements the most...#next

Can’t wait for the next story!
I absolutely loved and enjoyed this book. Can’t wait for quite a few other characters story to be told, especially Tina! Best of all there was NO cliffhanger which I hate, but we definitely are probably gonna get a few more books from this series. Looking forward for the next one. Definitely worth my money.❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

A very good read!
This story deserves 5 stars, but the errors cost it the 1 star. That said, what a read… Sabrina wasn’t your typical damsel in distress for a change and loved Dorian’s take charge attitude. I’m hoping book 2 will be Callum & Myke’s turn, but it seems the Natasha character might be his pairing. I guess we’ll have to wait and see. Get this book it’s good!

Intriguing
100x Yes! This was my 1st novel by this author, and I'm hooked. Hurry up book 2. This book involved more than the Sabrina an Dorian. Their extended family and friends were also involved throughout the entire book, which made for a very interesting read. Kudos to the author on this masterpiece.

Thrilling Ride
What an interesting semi-romance crime novel. A unique cast of characters sets the stage for a story of intrigue and suspense. It is not your typical romance novel which sets it apart from some others. Overall the story was compelling but there is a number of grammatical issues throughout the entire book which at times can disrupt the flow.

Remarkable Drama and Romance
The drama started early as well as interest in something or someone in this storyline. I felt it was well organized that I had no problem keeping up with the characters. This made the reading enjoyable due to the this fact. I really like the author's style of telling a story the consider their readers.
