This book came into my life at exactly the right time. I was stepping into a bigger role at work and struggling, second-guessing myself constantly. This book focused on tools to start showing up with internal fortitude.

It’s not just motivational fluff. It’s practical, direct, and written in a way that makes you feel seen. The advice on boundaries, mindset, and leadership stuck with me, and I’ve been able to apply so much of it in my day-to-day. If you’re trying to grow in your career and need a little guidance and fire, this is absolutely worth the read and worth the money.

There are some good ideas in this book, and it’s a lightweight, quick read. However, I found some of the sweeping generalisations about the differences between men and women frustrating - perhaps these are aspects of my ‘nature’ that I’ve already addressed, but I didn’t identify with much of what was said about women, especially with regard to communication.
