Action packed mystery with an ex-navy officer pulled into a missing person situation by a friend and former navy friend. But the twist is, Alex is Alexandria. What follows is a Stephanie Plum type main character minus a goofy sidekick. An involved plot, interesting characters, action packed, and great descriptions add up to a fun read. It was a little confusing at a couple points because of the number of characters and locations, but the mystery was a good one with many humorous moments! I would definitely read another book in the series as this one was enjoyable and engaging.

I enjoyed reading it - however I am crotchety about poor use of pronouns (grammatical errors) which means a star less in my rating system, and- I have been trying to think of a polite way of saying this and have failed - I think the title is crap. It does not really relate to the content and hints at gutter language that is not respectful of women. (sorry - that is my soapbox opinion) Received as a complimentary copy from the author in return for an honest review.

Loved it!
Loving this series right from the start. Alex has resigned from the Navy and is now unsure what she’ll do. So far moping around isn’t going to cut it. Maybe helping her good friend find a missing boyfriend will do it. Looking forward to more mysteries with Alex, Addy, and Judy!!

Fast paced hilarious murder mystery with some of the wildest women in decent literature. Once I started it, I don’t think I put it down. Great characters, murder and romance thrown in.
