About the author

Over twenty years ago, Kevin White went on his first mission trip to India. He's been staring at the need and opportunity to fulfill the Great Commission ever since.

Kevin is the Founder/Executive Director of Global Hope India, a mission organization providing access to the gospel to Indian Nationals. He’s now traveled to India over fifty times, hosting a thousand people on mission trips.

Kevin and his wife, Shelly, have three adult children and one grandchild. They live in Cary, North Carolina.

I consider myself very lucky to have read this book in advance before it's scheduled release not only because it was worth the time, but because it has enlightened me in a whole different way! This book should be read and shared to the world because it gives a clear message about what we should do to experience God's presence in our lives everyday and keep it that way - and believe me, it's not as complicated as we thought it should be.

While we are head-deep into the uncertainty of the current problem the world faces - the disease pandemic called COVID-19, we tend to also stray away from the Lord in an attempt to be fully in charge. Get to the Point by Kevin White provides us with a brand new view that we do not need to charge full-on on whatever lies in front because we have God. He is in charge, and with Him, nothing is unclear or pointless. For if we live close to God, He renders guidance and provision to aid us in all the debacles of life.

A friend sent me a softcopy of this book and I must say that the author has done justice to the subject matter. A timely piece. One that will make you not want to do anything else until you finish every word.
Most books in this genre are usually boring, but Kevin has presented this spiritual truths about the Holy Scripture in an interesting manner. This is certainly a book I recommend to every reader. By the way, I have sent a copy to some of my friends.

I love this little book, recommended by a friend. The daily reflection is short and to the point, with bible references for further reflection. I read it in the morning, keep the main thought uppermost in my mind throughout my day, then re-read it at bedtime. It's been a great anti-anxiety "medicine" for coping during Covid, reminding me to trust in God's love and His plan for my life. I honestly feel it has enhanced my relationship with Jesus.

This book is so amazing. Actually, praying the Word of God has been THE most powerful- healing-comforting-convicting- encouraging-centering things I've incorporated into my prayer life. I was struggling for the past few years, sometimes I questioned God, feeling alone but when I read this book, I was englightened and I feel the presence of God within me who gradually transformed my life into a better person now. As I've started to read, one included Bible verse entranced me as it served as a reminder. According to Psalms 46:1 (NIV), "God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble." In this verse, we should underscore the "ever-present" used to describe our God. With this book, we contemplate - if indeed, we are in His presence, and we are in His. Are you? With only a few pages, this book will fill you in a brimming manner. Therefore, I give it five stars.

In this book, I found the gift that no presents from worldly relationships or occasions such as Christmas, Valentine’s Day, Halloween, etc., could ever beat. It’s the gift of life Jesus awarded us when he died for our sins and the gift of presence from God. Humans are imperfect and are sinners, however, forgiveness is offered by God to His children. With repentance as highlighted in this book, may we be forgiven and brought closer to God. To sum up, this is such as great read!

Often books like this are an endless menagerie of words and concepts that are very difficult to process. Author Kevin White writes at a level everyone can easily understand that we can practically apply to our lives.
