So cringe.
I really need to stop reading these horribly written books on these free reading apps.
It had promise at first, Amara has a 2 yr old (who has incredibly advanced speaking skills, but that's not actually addressed in the story) and the father, Zavier, didnt know until she somehow reconnects with him by unknowingly taking a personal chef job with him. He's a billionaire of course, and their son was conceived after a one-night stand.
So the writing bothered me with how abruptly things change and how juvenile the dialogue was at times, but I kept going. Then the author threw in half-assed side stories.
An ex-fiancee who returns to say she had Zavier's child.
An ex-boyfriend who suddenly wants Amara back and is claiming paternity.
The meddling mother-in-law who wants her son to marry the ex.
The best friend who secretly dates Zavier's older brother.
The crazy ex-fiancee and a gun.
It was all just so poorly written. It's an easy read, and a fast one, but it wont be memorable and it isn't satisfying because the author basically dumped all the HEA she possibly could into the end. You wont feel connected to any character and you'll mostly think they're being quite immature.

Omg idk... I really didn't like this. It started off OK and I installed the app, and suffered through all the ads to read it but, honestly, it wasn't worth it. There were many grammar errors and you could tell the author didn't speak much english.
Honestly, save your time. Read Vanpelts by Brandy Slaven. So good but so sad!
