As an Award Winning and International Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and Kobo Best Selling Author, I have always been an avid reader. I joke that I "cut my romance teeth" on the old historical romance books. I’ve written as a hobby for over 30 years. In 2014, I finally gave in to the characters in my head pleading for their story to be told. Thus, Emma's Home was created.
My first novel, Emma's Home became an Amazon Best Seller in 3 categories within the first month of publishing. Its success was followed by the rest of the Fairfield Series and then led into the Love's Series. From there I have continued with the romantic suspense Alvarez Security Series and now the Saints Protection & Investigation Series.
My books are filled with sweet romance and hot sex; mystery, suspense, real life characters and situations. My heroes are alphas, take charge men who love the strong, independent women they fall in love with. I worked as a counselor in a high school and have been involved in education for the past 30 years. I recently retired and now can spend more time devoted to my writing.
I have been married to a wonderfully patient man for 35 years and have 2 adult, very supportive daughters. When writing, my dog or one of my cats will usually be found in my lap!
First of all , thank you Maryann Jordan for sending me an ARC of Josh! I have not read one book of yours that I have not loved ! The LSI series is incredible !!! Each character is introduced so well, that the reader feels as if he or she is an old friend . The suspence & action is outstanding but the intimate parts are so hot ! When the Josh & Pippa come together it’s definitely making sweet but hot love , never sex for the sake of it . Another book with a hit right out of the park ! Waiting for the next one with my breath held !
I absolutely loved this story! Pippa is an awesome heroine. She washed up on Josh’s land and needs his help but she is far from helpless or hapless.
“You don’t have to worry, Pippa. I promise you’re not alone. We’re in this together, and I’m gonna make sure you’re taken care of.”
Pippa witnesses a murder when she is in the wrong place at the wrong time. Josh and the guys of LSI help keep her safe. With Pippa’s help they untangle the mystery so she can have her life back again.
“She had the strangest sense that she was in the presence of Superman. Josh had the ability to appear so unassuming, almost quiet and shy. But there was a strength in his body and intensity in his gaze that made her feel as though he could see right through her.”
This story is a part of the Lighthouse Security and Investigations series and although the characters from the previous stories appear throughout, it could be read as a standalone. This is a wonderful story in an amazing series and all are worth diving in! -5 Stars-
You would think by book number 11 of a series the author would be in a rut and produce a book that was just OK. But, when the author is Maryann Jordan that is definitely not the case. As usual I was drawn right into the story of Josh and Pippa and could not put it down. Outstanding characters, beautiful romance, and suspense to keep it lively. I also enjoyed the introduction of Carson from LSI West Coast. Looking forward to many more LSI stories.
Josh Lighthouse Security Investigation Maryann Jordan
The Lighthouse series never fails to take you on a suspenseful journey with characters who embody right over wrong. Each hero draws you into a battle to save the heroine because it is the right thing to do. Josh is no exception as he saves his surprise from a danger she unwittingly falls into. A touch of suspense and romance mixed together to bring you another late night page turner read. I received an ARC for an honest review.
Pippa’s part time job is working for a catering firm as she finishes her college degree many years later than she wanted to. One fateful client and her life is now in danger. Lucky for her she ends up on Josh’s property. Lucky for her Josh and the LSI team are just what she needs for safety and to solve the mystery. Lucky for her, Josh in a single, computer geek just like her. Lucky for her, he is as interested in her as she is in him. With the help of LSI, Josh and her own mad computer skills the mystery Pippa has caught herself in is solved and those involved will be caught. We also are introduced to Carson the co-partner with Mace of LSI west coast branch. He is “shadowing” the LSI team and learning Mace’s business plan that has been so successful in Maine. This allows the reader to gear up for the new LSI series which I am looking forward to! I enjoyed this latest Lighthouse Security series book. A good mystery with a HEA romance of Pippa and Josh. I received an ARC to provide a accurate review of this book.
Josh is the newest addition to the Lighthouse Security Investigations series and is the story of Josh and Pippa. Josh is the last of the ‘original’ keepers to find his Miss Right. He is the tech guru of the Keepers and he meets Pippa in the wildest of ways, on his own property! Josh lives in a beautiful Victorian house with a cool bunker in the backyard and it is right on the water with beautiful views. Pippa was working as a caterer on a yacht when something bad happens and she knows that in order to save herself she has to get off the boat – so she jumps into the water, swims to shore and drags herself up to Josh’s backyard where she collapses from exhaustion. That’s where they meet! Josh brings her in and takes care of her ultimately getting her to tell him her story. Pippa is a college student just working a caterer job to earn money while she finishes up her degree. Even though she is a strong and brave woman (Obviously – she jumped off a moving yacht into the ocean to swim to shore!), she is absolutely terrified about what happened and doesn’t know who to trust nor what to do. Josh is patient, kind and sweet and she quickly realizes that she can take a chance on trusting him. As he brings his fellow Keepers in to hear her story so that they can help her, they all realize that she is pretty badass. She insists on helping the Keepers because she is a computer whiz too. They allow her and she is ultimately pretty helpful for them.
Josh and Pippa are similar characters in that they both were loners, for different reasons, but still loners. They’re both strong and loyal individuals on their own and when they come together they’re on fire! There is an instant attraction on both of their parts but so much uncertainty due to Pippa’s vulnerable situation that they think they should take their time, but they just can’t. While it might seem like the relationship is rushed (the duration of the story is one week), they just organically come together and seem to fit together seamlessly and even though it’s only one week, it feels strong. There is good character development for them both and introspection knowing that they want to grow to be able to easily accept this new person in their lives. There is also a ‘Maryann Jordan’ 😉 element of suspense involved that was good too, but the best part of this story was the romance and the characters. It is always good to catch up with previous characters and get caught up on their lives. It’s good to see families expanding and marriages coming and others staying solid.
One of my favorite elements of this story was the introduction of Carson, Mace’s new partner of the West Coast Keepers. Having him in Maine, shadowing and learning how the original team functions was such an organic way to introduce him to us. It’s going to be fun watching him get set up and going with his business and see if any of the east coast guys decide to join him. Plus Mace’s parting comment about seeing Carson at his wedding and Carson’s absolute refusal to admit that was a possibility? Dude, have you even MET Maryann Jordan? 😊
I just can't get enough of these Keepers! I did not want this one to end. Josh (Lighthouse Security Investigations, Book #11) was fantastic! It tells the story of Josh and Pippa. Josh is the computer wizard for the Keepers. He is a nerdy, muscled, tattooed, HOT specimen who owns an old Victorian house. He fell in love with this house because it has a WWII bunker in the back of the house. He has the bunker setup with computers and everything else he needs to be able to work at home. One night during a horrible rainstorm, something sets off his perimeter alarms. He sees something on the camera by the bunker, and he goes out to investigate, and he finds an unconscious Pippa lying outside the bunker. Pippa is also a computer nerd, but she is also beautiful, strong and in a lot of trouble. Her life has not gone according to plan, and because of some setbacks, she has had to put her college education on the back burner. Now she is completing her education as an older adult and works for a catering company earning money to help pay her bills. It is on her latest catering job working as a server on a yacht for a private party that she witnesses something horrifying, and her only solution to get away without anyone knowing that she is a witness, is to jump overboard. She sees a light offshore, but it is quite far, and it is pouring out, but she is so scared that adrenaline helps her swim to shore. The light she sees is the light on Josh’s bunker, and she is in terrible shape by the time she reaches Josh’s place and goes unconscious. I don’t want to have any spoilers, so I will stop here. Josh and Pippa’s story was amazing. Two beautiful computer geeks who have an instant attraction to one another. Each hoping the other feels the same way. Pippa and her computer skills prove to be quite helpful to the investigation. Their chemistry is off the charts. Not only do you have their love story, but you have this mystery/drama going on, and the Keepers are trying to solve it before anyone finds out that Pippa survived. You also have the introduction of Carson, a good friend of Mace’s, who will be heading the Lighthouse Security Investigations on the West Coast (a spinoff!). He is there to watch and learn, and he is quite impressed with what he sees. I highly recommend Josh (Lighthouse Security Investigations, book #11). You don’t want to miss out. I have read every single one of Maryann Jordan’s books. I love her character development. I also enjoy that her characters recur in other books in the series. Each book can be read as a standalone, but it is best to start with Mace (Lighthouse Security Investigations, book #1) because as I said the characters from previous stories appear and you will know who they are and their places in the story. Each book is amazing. There is always a love story brewing. You are also guaranteed to have mystery and action in each story that has you on the edge of your seat until the very end. I cannot wait to see what Maryann Jordan has in store for us next. I received an ARC copy, and I am voluntarily leaving my honest review.
This is book eleven in The Lighthouse Security Investigations Series and it is Josh and Pippa's story and it is definitely a must read. Josh used to be a CIA operative but now work's for Lighthouse Security are there computer person as only the best are chosen to work for them. When a storm rolls in and the alarms on Josh's property keep going off but it is Josh that has the surprise of his life. When Pippa sees something that she wasn't supposed to see while doing the catering on a yacht she jumps overboard and ends up on the shore of the house where Josh lives but she realised that she is in danger and needs to lie low so they can't find her only to realise that she has the help of the people that Josh works for but she is afraid to put them in danger not knowing just how skilled they are. Pippa is a skilled computer analyst so she has a lot in common with Josh so as the keepers work to find all the information they need and the people responsible the chemistry and connection between Josh and Pippa gets stronger but danger is just around the corner waiting to strike but will they be able to keep Pippa safe long enough to solve the case giving Josh and Pippa the chance to be together and get there happy ending which is just what they deserve as they are so perfect for each other and make a great team only time will tell what the outcome will be. I couldn't put this book down as it had you turning the pages to see what would happen next and kept you on the edge of your seat and it was a real page turner and so addictive. Maryann Jordan is an amazing author and writer and she certainly knows how to keep her reader's attention and her story's have so much depth and are full of action and I definitely recommend you read this book, series and other books by her and you will definitely not be disappointed.
This book is the story of Josh, LSI's resident computer expert, and Pippa, the woman who literally followed the light to his home from the sea. I was excited to read Josh's story because although he's been present throughout the series, there wasn't a lot known about him except he was a genius at his craft and a genuinely nice guy.
We learn that in addition to being a computer whiz, Josh fits the very definition of Renaissance Man. I have to say while I loved his physical description, his intelligence along with being such a great guy was what really drew me to him. But I digress, lol. Josh has watched his fellow keepers fall for ladies on their missions, but he's not sure if that is in the cards for him. Who knew that all he would have to do is go outside his home to find her?
Phillipa, aka Pippa, is about to graduate with her degree in computer science with a specialty in cybersecurity. Already she's the perfect woman for Josh! While going to school, Pippa works for a catering company, which lands her in hot water when she witnesses something she shouldn't while serving aboard a yacht at a senator's "fundraising" event. Needing to get away, she takes the life preserver and jumps into the water, ultimately carrying her to the shore where Josh's property lies.
I loved Pippa's personality. She was no-nonsense and determined not to be a victim. She and Josh bonded immediately and while it was quick, I felt like their relationship developed appropriately, just at warp speed! I think that's just how it is with some couples. It definitely was for me and my husband. Also, I thought she was amazing in how she helped the Keepers with her case. There's nothing I didn't love about this book. I can't wait to see what happens with Pippa. Could she eventually be the first female Keeper? Congratulations, Maryann Jordan, on an amazing 5-star read!
Josh, the LSI computer specialist, recently purchased a Victorian style house. While most “manly” men wouldn’t be caught dead owning a Victorian house, Josh chose it because of its location and uniqueness. It has a secret WWII bunker on the property. Josh has set it up to be LSI’s emergency computer hub. Due to its importance, Josh set up a state of the art security system to protect his property. When a storm rolls through, his alarm sounds along the shore. When he goes out to investigate, he’s surprised to find a beautiful woman washed up on the shore. He quickly gathers her and takes her to the safety of his home.
Pippa, a computer science-cybersecurity student, is extremely smart and determined to complete her degree. Due to life’s circumstances, Pippa is one of the oldest students in her class. Pippa works for a catering company to earn money to complete her degree. It’s not her dream job, but she makes good money—especially during private parties. It’s during a private party, on a yacht, that Pippa witnesses a murder. Fearing that the murderers can identify her, she makes an impulsive decision to jump ship. She sees a light in the distance and swims in that direction. The next thing she remembers, is being lifted off the shore and taken into a home. Pippa, scared for her life, requests no police or hospitals. So Josh calls his LSI buddies. They quickly begin working the case—while Josh vows to keep her safe.
Another amazingly suspenseful story by Maryann Jordan! This novel had many surprising twists. Josh and Pippa are a perfect match. We are also introduced to Carson in this story, so I expect we’ll soon have another LSI team to enjoy! I can’t wait. I read a gifted copy and all opinions stated are my own.
Josh, a Keeper for the LSI, finds a woman on his property, drenched, cold and passed out…so what does he do…he brings her into his home, warms her up, calls in reinforcements to check out her well being and let’s her stay the night. He knows she is hiding something, afraid of someone and his protective instincts go into overdrive….what is about this woman that he wants to help….and keep. Pippa has no family, just graduated and witnessed a crime, with no one to turn to she accepts Josh’s help but doesn’t want to put him in danger…until she finds out who he is and what he can do, along with his team she starts to feel safe…what is it about Josh that makes her want to stay and want him to keep her….read and find out. Sooooo good and another hit in the LSI series with past characters and an introduction to a new West Coast LSI team, which will no doubt be another keeper. Josh and Pippa, great together and compatible, Josh has finally found someone who understands him, his geeky side that others couldn’t relate to. Pippa is strong, resourceful and perfect for Josh. I loved the no drama between them, the steam, and suspense as the two work together, along with his team, to find evidence and put those responsible away to keep her safe. *I voluntarily read an advanced copy and expressed my honest opinion*
Absolutely beautiful story. Nothing can beat a trip into the Lighthouse Security world. Each book is just a fantastic addition. Josh is such a beautiful character. Caring and full of love, doesn't hurt that he's a total alpha male either. I know we tend to think of computer geniuses as geeks but Josh blows that belief right out of the water. I love his openness. His instant attraction to Pippa is total addictive and filled me with jealousy. If only men like Josh were real is snap him up so fast his head would spin!! Pippa couldn't have landed anywhere better. Such a brave and independent character. Her deep seated need to find the evil that targeted her friends is totally bad ass. Her love and loyalty admirable.
Maryann Jordan is a remarkably talented lady who has a wonderful ability to create these wonderful worlds. Spellbinding characters. A family in the truest sense. People with a fundamental goodness in them to want to protect and serve. Maryann brought to life a chemistry that would make you sizzle. Camaraderie and brotherhood that welcomes you into their inner circle. This story is a fantastic addition and totally addictive. Definitely not to be missed. Way more than 5 stars!!!
Josh is the computer nerd of LSI but he is just as muscled, handsome, and protective as the next Keeper. He is happy living in his "Victorian Dollhouse" with an awesome bunker in the backyard. Quite honestly the way Ms. Jordan describes the house makes me want to find a house like that with bunker and all! That is one of many reasons why I like her writing. I get just as lost in the houses she describes as I do in the stories she writes.
This story is about Josh and Pippa and how she helps LSI bring down corruption at the political level. Throw in the Russian mob and the FBI and you have a wonderful story. She weaves a bit of mystery and suspense into her love stories and hooks you in from the first chapter to the last.
Her characters are strong, diverse, handsome, protective, and realistic. Pippa is in no way a damsel in distress. She is smart and thinks on her feet but also takes time to digest information and process it in her brain. Josh is much the same and they make a great team.
This story introduces us to Carson who will head the spinoff series LSI West Coast. More stories to look forward to. Who could ask for more?
Another wonderful read in the Lighthouse Security Investigation world and while it does read as a total stand alone do yourself a favour and read the entire series you will not be disappointed and as the past characters are in this book you will know more about them. This book also gives us an insight into the new LSI West Coast that are future books in the series. As always this book is the perfect mix of suspense and drama with some hot romance thrown in for good measure a smooth read that flows well and draws you into the world it creates
Pippa is making ends meet working for a catering company while she finishes her computer engineering degree and it is this job that puts her in trouble when she sees a murder and connections she shouldn't see Her only way to escape is to swim for safety this washes her up on the shore of Josh's home a beautiful Victorian with its very own WWII bunker. Now it will be up to Josh and LSI to keep her safe as they unravel the case and Josh finally finds the woman that's perfect for him Who knew there was another computer geek just like him happier with their solitude than been social Is it a match made in heaven you will have to read to see
I always get excited when another book comes out from Maryann Jordan in the Lighthouse Security series. I have loved every book and this one did not disappoint. Josh the resident computer geek loves seeing all his friends fall in love but he is happy living in his Victorian house with his WWII bunker and his backyard on the water. Pippa is a 27 year old who works for a catering company while going finally finishing her college degree. Pippa washes up on Josh's shoreline setting off his security alarms. I will not give anymore away but Josh finally found has his love. It's another wonderful story from Maryann Jordan with the right amount of romance and suspense. You can read as a stand alone but once you read one you will want to read them all. Such a great series. Great secondary characters and we get introduced to Carson who will be heading the LCI West Coast offices so I am excited about reading stories from the coming stories from that branch. Highly recommend.
This is the 11th book in the Lighthouse Security Investigations series and it can be read as a standalone. Josh works for Lighthouse Security as a computer specialist, but he used to work for the CIA. A big storm hits and the alarms are going off on his property so he goes to investigate. Pippa had to jump overboard when she accidentally saw something that she shouldn't have while doing the catering on a yacht. It was the only way to get away. She ends up on Josh's property and she was the one setting off his alarms. When Josh finds out what happened to Pippa he promises to help her and protect her. But Pippa isn't a helpless heroine, she's a computer analyst too. Pippa is scared of putting others in danger though and doesn't know if Lighthouse Security can help. This book is amazing with romance, suspense, action, and wonderful characters. Maryann Jordan is a fabulous writer and she definitely hit it out of the park again with this captivating book. I voluntarily received an ARC of this book from the author, but the thoughts and opinions are my own.
Have you ever found a series that you never want to end? Lighthouse Security and Investigations is one of the many series that Maryann Jordan has written that I never want to end.
Josh, like all the Keepers is strong, smart and protective hero. Pippa was also strong but wasn't so stubborn you wanted to scream at her for not taking the protection being offered to her. I won't give away the plot but let's just say it kept you on your toes and at the edge of your seat.
Maryann Jordan is an excellent writer who always keeps her readers intrigued. Her books are well written and her proof readers and editors ensure that the grammer, spelling and research of any minute subject matter details are correct. That is something that always turns me off an author. They use Marine Corp or Seal terms incorrectly relating them to another branch of service.
The sad part of about the book was that I finished it! Now I have to patiently wait for her next book to be published!
Josh is an operative for Lighthouse Security Investigations (LSI) better known as a Keeper. He is the group’s computer engineer but does do some fieldwork. When Pippa washes up on his beach, he knows she needs help. Pippa is preparing to graduate with a computer engineering degree. After witnessing something horrible, she escapes and makes her way to Josh’s shore. Will she be frozen in fear and distrust or will she allow Josh to help her and keep her safe?
This is an action packed, edge of your seat read! For computer engineers, these two have an exciting and dangerous path. Pippa shakes up Josh’s life and makes him realize he has not been living a full life. Josh provides Pippa with some much needed safety and security. As usual with a MaryAnn Jordan book, this book was packed with wonderful well developed characters that she uses to weave a tale of mystery and intrigue. Great read. Looking forward to the next!
I received a review copy of this book from the author. I am voluntarily leaving a review.
Well what can i say, its hard to give reviews without spoilers but i dont like to rewen the story for others.
I'll start by saying that i've loved every book of this series as it mostly is some more then others but all are loved and i'm always impressed that Maryann has a way to make every book every story every character so very unique no two are the same, sure there all hunky alpha males but each so very different from the others theres no repertision and each and everyone of them get there own very special bad ass to love and charish
I realy enjoyed this story it was fast paced and every though the relationship happend quickly it never felt rushed or underdeveloped.
Would i read it again? Hell Yes Would i recomend it? Yup Will i buy it? Yup soon as i can get my grabby hands on the audiobook ;)
So take my review as you like but i sure felt like this book was every minute well spent and i cant wait for the next one.
This latest addition to the series had a slightly younger couple . Both are shy, quiet computer geeks, making their story a sweet one. Lighthouse Security Investigator and former CIA Operative Josh Appleton rescues Pippa/Philippa Everly when he finds her almost comatose, on the shore behind his home. From the moment he sees her eyes , Josh is smitten. As Pippa begins to trust Josh and tells him her real name and her escape from dangerous men and what she witnessed, Josh and the Keepers of LSI are determined to keep her safe . While the danger intensifies , so does the relationship. Will they get the bad guys? Will they give their feelings a chance? It’s always fun to “see” how characters from previous stories are doing. In this latest book, the reader is also introduced to Carson , the new leader of LSI West Coast. I was entrusted a copy of this book. The opinions expressed are solely my own.
The protective instincts of this alpha are activated as soon as he spots the bedraggled woman who'd washed up on his beach. He could tell she'd experienced something disturbing and will stop at nothing to keep her safe. Enlisting the help of his fellow Keepers, they are soon plunged into the world of dirty politics and the Russian mob. Even still, the feelings that blossom between these two characters is sweet to watch. Their shared interests help them defeat the bad guys in the end. I loved seeing Josh come out of his shell and the underground cavern at the lighthouse to take point on this case. You will enjoy reading Josh, but I would recommend (even though this one could stand on its own) reading the other 10 books first since those characters also show up in this one. We also get a peek at the leader of the new Lighthouse West Cost leader, whetting our interest for the upcoming series.
I was honored to receive an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. For LSI fans, this is another great addition to the series.
When Pippa witnesses a murder on a yacht, she does the only thing she can to get away; she jumps ship! Making her way through a storm toward a light in the distance, she finally succumbs to her trauma and exhaustion after she crawls her way up the shore toward the beacon of light.
Josh finds an unconscious, soaked to the bone, barefoot woman in his backyard and every protective instinct he has roars to life. After she regains consciousness, and he gains her trust, Josh learns of her ordeal and wants nothing more than to keep her safe, and become her Keeper.
No bad guys can ever escape the wrath of the Keepers when they find their soul mate; not even murdering politicians. Josh is the latest LSI member to find his love while on a mission. A great plot and enjoyable read.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
Josh and Pippa are both computer nerds but are their feelings real or just because of circumstances
Pippa witnessed a murder while working on a yacht and before they figured out what she knows she sees lights on the shore and jumps in the ocean swimming for the light not knowing it is the property of Josh. That is the best place she could have ended because Josh and the other Keepers are able to keep her safe while investigating what she witnessed. Their instant attraction is hard to fight and after just a coup!e days all the Keepers realize that she is the one for Josh even if he hasn't realized it yet. They realize she has some mad hacking skills because of her cyber security degree and involve her in helping to search for information they need. Will they be able to really keep her safe until they finish this case? Will Mace hire her to help Josh with all the computer geek stuff?
Just finished my ARC of Josh by Maryann Jordan. I really enjoyed this story. Josh is the newest installment of the Lighthouse Security Investigation series. I like this series because it tends to have a little more suspense than some of her other series. Pippa literally ended up on Josh's doorstep after getting herself out of a bad situation. Josh and the rest of the Keepers help to get Pippa safely out of the situation she finds herself in. During all of this, Josh and Pippa get to know each other and another Keeper romance is ignited. We also found out from a visitor from California (Carson) that changes are coming to Lighthouse Security. A new spin-off series will be set in a new branch of Lighthouse Security located in California run by Mace's friend, Carson. It will be fun to read about this new branch in California.
I absolutely loved reading Josh . This is the eleventh book in the Lighthouse Security series . I love this series . Like all the others in the series . Josh is full of suspense and intrigue and definitely love . The characters are unique and interesting . I could not put it down . Josh is a former CIA operative and computer specialists for Lighthouse Security . He lives in a old Victorian house with its own WWII bunker along the shores of Maine . During a storm he finds a wet but terrified woman washed up on his property . He instantly knows she's his to protect and rescue from the dangers she's escaped . Josh and his fellow keepers step up to keep Pippa safe and stop the people after Pippa . I love this series and all the fantastic characters . I found myself pulled right in to the stories . I highly recommend taking the time to read .
I love Josh and Pippa! It was awesome to see Pippa from the start be a active participant in her story. I love that in this story the mission landed in Josh lap instead of the keepers being request to help. It allowed us to see Josh as more then just the keeper behind the computer screen. The story was made even better by the fact that Pippa was almost his equal in all aspects. It was great also how all the previous women were involved in this story since it took place right in there home town. It was great to see them fall in love with one another as they each over came the idea that they would never find what everyone else had. Even more is that they compliment one another and show that they can work together to solve problems under stress. A great addition to the story was the side story of Carson observing for the spin off west coast that is soon to come.
Josh is one of the LSI keepers and his specialty is IT, he’s at home, it’s storming and his alarm is triggered. When he investigates he finds a woman lying soaked to the skin and exhausted. The mystery begins. Who is she, what happened to her, how did she get there. This book is an exciting rollercoaster read and I loved every minute of it. You catch up with the other keepers and their wives and the scene is set for LSI West Coast. I’m so looking forward to reading this series too. Maryann Jordan is a fabulous writer and although each book has a similar theme- it’s a romance after all, the books are individual and definitely not repetitive. I look forward to reading everything Maryann writes as she always has my guessing right to the end. I love her twists and turns. I received this book from the Author. I’m voluntarily leaving my honest review.
Another great book from Maryann Jordan. Josh was bemoaning that the other Keepers met their significant others while on assignments. As the resident computer geek he tends to stay either at the compound or in his specially equipped WWII bunker. Fate had other plans and dropped a wet bedraggled woman into his lap, Pippa. Of course she need the assistance of LSI after witnessing a murder and jumping off a yacht. One reflection peaked my interest, that the Keepers find extraordinary women during their missions. As the story progresses we find that statement is true for her also.
We are teased by the introduction of a new character, Carter, an old buddy of Mace's. Mace and Carter have joined forces and LSI West Coast has been created. We'll have a new cast of Keepers and their adventures.
Another fabulous book and such a great addition to this series. From the first page I was taken with this book. Josh is a computer specialist who lives his life quietly in a quaint dollhouse home that also has an old WW bunker which serves as back up site for LSI. One stormy night his alarms go off repeatedly and he finds Pippa. Once he rescues her he finds he is reluctant to let her go. Pippa has had a few rough years but is also a computer specialist. There is murder, intrigue, suspense and a love that blossoms. There is interaction with the team from LSI and an introduction into LSI WC. Maryann your books never disappoint. This is well written and definitely worth reading. The story and characters are believable. I received an ARC for an honest review. Have also purchased as Maryann is a one click author for me.
