Love triangle done right.

A beautiful story with lots of romantic and dynamic elements. MC of this book are Alina and Jax or Jaxson. It is a love triangle that will keep you guessing. Authors writing style is one-dimensional and yet it maintains the suspense at a heightened level. It will take hold of readers attention, delivering layered emotions. Several characters are developed presentably, maintaining a parallel plot that lends to the overall energy.

Grab your copy of this skillfully written musical and thrilling book.

Lovely romance, good music and beautiful horses

Even as I started with the story, two things caught my attention almost immediately. One, the author's deep interest in music. Be it Stacy's interest in the piano or her songs or Alina's musical talent which catapulted Alina into fame, the author has brought out the different flavours of music in the book.

Second, the author loves horses. Jax or rather Bernado's love for horses and the way he taught Jax to understand the animals, was excellently described by the author.

Stacy and Alejandro's romance was quick and life-long. Their love product was Alina and she had been encouraged to follow her talents and she chose music. Jax on the other hand even before his parent's death loved horses and Bernando brought it out better. The death of his parents was grieving at first, but Bernado helped the boy rebuild his life. Bernando sees the boy's talent and even helps the boy achieve his talents at the Olympics with the help of Sir Charles.

That is when disaster strikes in the form of Randy.

Randy seems to be a confused and revengeful character. But his reasons and his parent's actions which resulted in his turning out the way he did, was well brought out. His love for Daria also made him more human.

The way he handled his parents was actually good to read about.

Randy's fear at the music academy after having fired the gun at Alina was well-captured by the author.

Bernardo's last tango was a sweetly brought out chapter and it was lovely to read that.

The romance between Jax and Alina was also lovely.

Overall, there were moments of love, music, fear, adventure and some nail biting suspense in the story making it a nice, enjoyable read.

A Romance, Drama and Thriller All Wrapped In One Thoroughly Satisfying Package

This novel has everything: an intelligent, detailed unfolding of the plot, the characters and their relationships, which definitely raises the stakes for the drama, romance and thrills to come. There’s also edge-of-one’s seat tension, action and excitement.

This reader enjoyed the way the talented author reveals her characters’ back-stories, giving the reader an understanding of their motivation and actions, so drawing the reader into a more intimate relationship with the all the characters.

Denise Kahn also displays an incisive grasp of psychology and human nature, including understanding PTSD and the making of a sociopath (or psychopath?). In this story she reveals the sad reality that many who initiate evil against others, end up blaming their innocent victims when they are punished for their evil actions and even intensify their hatred, becoming obsessed with seeking revenge, instead of spending their energy to reform themselves.

Added to all the above, this reader appreciates the incredible amount of detail the author put into this book. From the cultures of multiple countries, to professional equestrians and therapy horses, celebrity private labelling photo shoots, the rise of a pop star and more.

And for those Romance fans, you’ll enjoy the way the author takes her time slowly and tenderly unfolding the love story between Jax and Alina and the tastefully written love scenes between Alejandro and Stacy.

I highly recommend this very satisfying read that left this reader uplifted and optimistic.

This is a really great book with lots of depth. It’s mainly a love story but has some elements of a thriller. I loved the main characters too. The author shows great knowledge of languages as well as all the different types of music, musical instruments, dances, and horses from every country in the world.

The only downside would be that I felt all the detailed descriptions pulled me out of a really interesting story to the point I felt a lot of the writing belonged in a non-fiction book rather than this one. For me, it killed the tension in the thriller part of the book as follows. As the killer was about to wreak his vengeance at the party, the author went into a detailed description of what varied and exotic foods were on the table. I felt this book has the potential to be so much tighter and suspenseful if it didn’t have all the lengthy descriptions like that.

Despite that, it is a well-written, excellent read, where good always prevails over bad. I would recommend it to friends who love romance and thrillers as I realise this is only my personal view and others may disagree.

Page turner!

If you're looking for a captivating escape that combines international intrigue with heart-stopping danger and a touch of romance, then this might be your perfect pick. Buckle up for a whirlwind adventure alongside Alina Alonso, a talented singer on the run from a mystery stalker.
This book is more than just your typical celebrity romance. It whisks you away to stunning locations around the world, from the jungles of South America to the glitz of the Mediterranean. Along the way, you'll encounter a fascinating cast of characters, including daring helicopter pilots, skilled musicians, and even Olympic equestrians. The author's love for different cultures shines through, making the story rich and informative.
What truly sets this apart is its focus on Alina's strength. She's not just a damsel in distress; she's a determined woman facing danger head-on. The romance subplot adds a layer of sweetness to the story, but it's the unexpected twists and thrilling escapes that will keep you turning the pages late into the night.

Outstanding

This book is absolutely outstanding. If you want to delve into a book and be given a huge hug and travel the world from your armchair, this book will not disappoint. The main characters are explored extensively and their lives hold foundation, honesty and integrity. You can even understand and feel compassion for the villain. The back drop to their stories shows insight, diversity and unity. The whole story revolves around the worlds love of love. How so very different we are, and that each difference should be celebrated and not feared. That our differences actually unite us. As a whole we can accomplish so much more than as an individual, and these characters are the
performance of this statement. The love that flows from this book is heartfelt, real, beautiful and encouraging. What the author has done with this book is unimaginable and yet they've accomplished it so beautifully.

A love tale that transcends the ages

The story starts in 1990 and follows two people born in different countries both to loving parents. The girl, Alina, to a humanitarian Spanish/American couple who save people in war-torn or precarious situations and grows up in Spain to become an international music star. The other a boy called Jax born in America to parents who own horses. Unfortunately Jax’s parents die at an early age and he is brought up by his Argentine guardian and he eventually becomes an Olympian Equestrian. Gradually their travels through life brings them together with a bang (quite literally) and they immediately fall in love. A coming of age love tale that leaves you with a happy feeling in your stomach once you have finished and teaches you whatever life throws at you love finds a way. It was beautifully written.

Alina beautiful gorgeous tall and slender born to Spanish heritage born to shine. Two men want this beauty one wants to kill her and the other one fell in love with her first sight when he saw her in the TV. JAX gorgeous with Aegean blue eyes was raised by his Argentinian relative when his parents died when he was only young. He is raised in Florida surrounded by horses and he becomes a gold medalist Olympic champion but is always chasing his dream of Alina although he is a ladies man he could have anyone. When Alina is young she goes on vacation to lebanon and gets kidnapped and ends up landing the chopper so she is a tough cookie and mature beyond her years. The book covers China the Olympic Games, gulf war, Spain and more. At the end who will win Alinas heart you will have to read for yourself. Every chapter is exciting and moreish and unputdownable

Brilliant read loved it

The Thrill of trying to curve a bullet!

I enjoyed the book and I will say that my favorite spoiler free parts would be when you get in an accident and then take that person home to meet your parents who already know that person and then the intensity of having to pray that a bullet is just a little to high and of course after the trigger is pulled. Those parts of the story really pulled me in and it is well written. The three stars is because there are links in the story that take you to sales pages and eBay and it just threw me out of the story and I was not a big fan. In fact on page 328 I think it’s a broken link and again not really good for a smooth ebook read. I’d recommend this in the hardcopy only because you won’t run into the problem with links taking you out of the story.

Great read!

Jax parents were killed when he was 10 in a barn fire, Bernard was his guardian and over the years they built the ranch back up into a booming business. At 15, his dream was to compete in the Olympics equestrian team in 3 years time. For his 16th birthday Bernard presented him with Almea, a dark chestnut mare, his olypian partner.
This book takes you on a roller coaster journey with Jax through thick and thin, success and failure but most of all his obsession with the love of his life and how they become one. A great storyline that builds with each chapter, well written and keeps your interest as you are unsure which way things will go. Sure tugs at the heart strings at times. Great read!

If you are looking for a thrilling and romantic read, you might enjoy "Heart Song" by Denise Kahn. This book follows the adventures of Alina Alonso, a famous singer who is caught between two men: one who loves her and one who wants to kill her. Along the way, she faces many dangers and challenges, from a hijacked plane to a hungry caiman, from a mob of fans to a sniper's bullet. She also meets many interesting people, such as international musicians, helicopter pilots and horse riders.
The book is fast-paced and full of action, suspense and romance. The author does a good job of creating vivid scenes and characters, and weaving in details about music, horses and different cultures. The book also explores themes such as fame, loyalty, trust and courage.

different

It’s different from books I’ve read. At first I thought I had a romance novel but this read more like a suspense novel to me. It’s probably my mistake on that. So, I’m reviewing this as a suspense. Keep in mind I don’t read a lot in thus genre. There’s lots of characters. The main characters switched up though the book. There’s dangers, action, and a lot of shady characters it’s hard to know who to trust. I really like Stacy and Alex and their daughter. Randy just kept getting in tough situations. He worried me for a while. Jax was a true friend.

A friend recommended this book, and I'm so glad they did, as I can see why featuring adventure music and horses. What's not to like? This is right up my alley.
Wonderfully written, absolutely delightful and thrilling. It's a slow-burn romance, but it offers so much more. With believable well-rounded characters, you would like to hang out with. The pace and attention to detail are excellent and drew me in. The plot twists will keep you gripped right until the end. I look forward to reading more from this talented author. I have no hesitation in awarding this book five stars. Well done.

Helicopters, Songs, and Gold Medals

The author weaves together a multi generation novel that follows the lives of two different men as thier lives entertwine over and over for two decades. Everything changes after an unexpected life or death accident brings unlikely friendship. The story is well written with a strong plot; however it was not as fast moving as my personal preference. It is definitely interesting; filled with heartwarming romance, imminent danger and of course a villain that you will love to hate.  The ending will make you......shhhhh, ---that would be telling.

For romance and adventure fans

I felt like I was watching one of those old romance/adventure films, reading this book. While this is not my usual reading fare, I found it was well written with several plotlines that ultimately merge together. From action sequences, horses and equestrian sports, to international music, this book was a fulsome journey. While some of the characterisation could have been better, I really didn't understand the point of the external hyperlinks. Was that for commercial purposes? Overall, this is a decent read for fans of this genre.

I love read this book

This book has a very good point of the real life story. I felt so impressed with Bernardo the way He could hand the life as a young boy on business. And I find kindness on him to helped and take care of Jax. I felt so sorry ,and bad for Randy because his life could be better if he didn’t choose violence. Be a bad man end up always in bad shape. Book has adventure stories also. I like it

A long read but worth it

This book takes you on an emotional roller coaster. Jax Randy and Alina are such relatable characters and you really see them develop throughout the book. It tells from each person's perspective. Bonus if you're into equestrian activities and horse riding too... but even if you're not (like me) you will still find plenty in here to keep your pages turning!!

Romantic and packed of action

The Heart Song is an exciting and romantic adventure. With a fan who wants to love her and an enemy who wants her dead, Alina’s journey is anything but dull. The book features hijackings, dangerous animals, crazed fans, and even a sniper, making it a nonstop thrill ride. Set across various international locations, the story is perfect for those who love romance, music, and adventure.

plot heavy

Heart Song by Denise Kahn was very plot heavy and I couldn’t really connect with the characters or any perceived internal conflict resolution. The dialogue was good but other than that it felt like an info dump, with more “telling” than “showing”. I gave 4 stars because the plot line was good, connecting worlds that wouldn’t normally collide. This could be the next person’s favorite read.

Exciting and sweet

The romance pulls you in from the prologue, but the story keeps you invested in a really interesting and intricate way. I loved the adventure and exploring different cultures as well as the overarching musical theme! I don't want to give away too much...you should just read it!!

A little of everything

Heart Song spans the life of Alina and Jaxson from childhood to a chance but somewhat planned meeting. Jaxson knew from the very first time he saw Alina performing he had to meet her, but more, he was desperate to make her his. Little did he know she was much closer than he would have ever expected. This is a very slow-burn contemporary romance

A captivating love triangle of revenge

Loved the storyline with moving to different countries and the characters were superb and exciting. It was a great read and kept me motivated to continue reading to the end. The only negative was when you read an exciting part, all of a sudden you are staring at bright blue of hyperlink that pulls the reader away from the story.

Cool book

This book was a refreshing change from my usual reads. It felt more like a suspense than a romance. While I don't typically read this genre, I found the numerous characters, action, and shady characters engaging. I particularly enjoyed following Stacy, Alex and their daughter, and Jax. Randy had me on edge throughout.

Unique Love Story

The author brings the feels with this muti-generation love story told in vignettes, from perspectives of each of the major characters. Sweet, sexy, funny, heart-breaking at times. The author shows the characters as they are in all their flawed beauty and shows how they became who they are. I’m excited to read other books from this tale Ted writer!
