Detective Bill Hendrix has always had a fascination with the supernatural. His partner Hank, however, likes to stick with facts. When they’re called to an apparent homicide at the local mall, none of the facts of the robbery-turned-murder scene add up. Bill begins to suspect they’re looking at the work of vampires. Before Hank knows what hit him, his partner drags him on a wild search for a group of murderers who could also be members of the undead.
Presented as a collection of cases featuring all things supernatural and paranormal, fans of The X-Files will love this out of the ordinary collection by the pulp horror author Gerry Griffiths.
This is a quirky, fun book that will appeal to fans of The X-Files, Black Mirror, and the like. It's broken into "cases" rather than traditional chapters, but there's a good flow from one to the next. Griffiths has a talent for writing interesting, relatable characters that I'd be happy to read more about.
