Wrath, War and the Woe Trumpets has Amelia heading back to Caledonia but this time, accompanied by Maddy and Harry. Astar is trying to keep her distance while coming up with a plan to defeat the three archangels who are determined to bring about the apocalypse. With three of the Seven Deadly Sins hanging out with the Four Horsewomen, book two is full of action and suspense.

Maddy follows Amelia to Caledonia mainly out of jealousy, but her character development throughout the entire story, her ability to see through her envy and notice Astar for who she could be was done brilliantly. Before this book, Maddy was never a stand-out character for me, but she has quickly become one of my favourite Seven Deadly Sins.

In true T.J. Dallas fashion, Wrath, War and the Woe Trumpets is hot and sexy and I’m pretty sure can teach most people a thing or two about how to spice up their lives, but it’s so much more as well. Just like in the first book, the world-building is epic, and the research that has gone into the storytelling is impressive.
And the cliff-hanger! Whew!!!

Not me screaming at how this book ended. Wow. What a ride this one was. T.J. wrote yet another incredible story.

As I said in my review on Prewrath and Rapture, I was looking forward to more Astar and I was not disappointed. Astar is the star of the show. That vulnerable side we see is written to perfection.

For a minute I was about to lose it at Maddy, but thankfully she got it together. Princess 100%.

I’d keep going about each character but just read this book (after reading the Pride Trilogy and the first book of the Wrath Trilogy of course). I cannot wait to read book #3.

Oh and not that it needs to be said but the steam is muy caliente 🔥🔥🔥

If I could give 10 stars, I would. And then add another ten on top. Those characters are… god, I love every single one of them. This was a bloody brilliant rollercoaster. I don’t think I could love them more and yet here we are. I’ve lost my heart to this and I never want it back. Astar, my love? Ahhh. If you don’t love them all, who hurt you? I can’t wait to see how this continues.

I think overall, some parts of the plot feel a bit bumpy, it is a very ambitious scope and an important aspect of the books is the smutty fun, so I understand how it can become very tricky. I am not complaining at all, the characters and their relationships are the big stand out and the world building was tenderly cared for.

Of course the book is super steamy and I love it. I like learning more about the characters. It was great to see Madison open up and make a friend she her own fears that she has to deal with. Seph seems so sad and her job is very stressful. All the characters touch my heart in one way or another and I want them all to be happy and loved.

I was lucky enough to receive an ARC version of this book via Booksprout in exchange for an honest review.

First off I have to say that I love these ladies so so much. I just want to be friends with them all and be part of this group of amazing badass women. Second, damn the spice in this one just went up a whole other level. This book felt like it was absolutely packed with it and boy was it steamy as hell. I loved seeing the various pairings but especially loved seeing Maddy and Persephone's dynamic. Honestly, though all of the scenes were sexy, sensual but also felt natural to the storyline.

I feel like Maddy is the one we've seen the least of throughout both series and it was great to explore her character more. After what she pulled with Lara in the Bartender series I wasn't the biggest Maddy fan but I was definitely won over in this book. I liked seeing more of her vulnerable side and the way she and Zillah bonded over how their own powers don't reflect the person they truly want to be seen in the world. I also loved seeing her thaw out and the progression of her relationship with Astar.

The whole gender-bending side of Greek Mythology is fantastic I loved the introduction to Hades and I'm secretly hoping she may just pop up again in the next book. I can imagine her causing some mayhem amongst our favourite ladies not to mention some sexy scenarios.

It feels like every single one of these characters has so much depth and nuance about them. They all have their flaws and struggles and TJ portrays them all phenomenally. You really feel for these women and what they go through in life. It's not all orgasms and sexy times, it's the connections they forge and nurture that I love the most.

This book has a bit of everything and the suspense towards the end had me eager to carry on reading. I kept sitting on the edge of my seat wondering what was going to happen then breathing a sigh of relief before being swept up into the suspense all over again. Another fantastic book from TJ and I am now eager to read the last instalment because I need more of these ferocious, sexy, fabulous women in my life.

No one can weave a story like TJ Dallas! And include hot sex,, woven into the story. She's done it again, this one heart poundingly awesome too! You can't put it down! Three of the 7 deadly sins come together with the 4 horsewomen to save the world. Or do they?
You're in for a treat (as always) with a TJ Dallas book! Definitely 5 stars!!

Once again the horsewomen need Wrath's help. This time Emilia is joined by Maddy and Harry. Envy should not be underestimated as Astar discovers while trying to deal with her feelings.
The archangels resort to underhand tactics before the trumpets sound the death knell of the world as the horsewomen and sins know it.
Maddy learns how precious friendship can be against a background of threat and incredible sexual tension.
Once again T J Dallas has exceeded my expectations and left me hungry for more.

Dallas continues her fabulous storytelling and character development in Book 2 of the Wrath trilogy. We’ve gotten to spend quite a bit of time with the Sins but this installment in the Wrath trilogy continues to build the depth of character for Emilia and Madison specifically along with some more of the Horsewomen. The story kept me so in it that it was a very late night/early morning to finish it in one day. The relationship between Emilia, Maddie, and Astar is a huge piece and how each handle the dynamics and events that unfold are beautifully told. I loved seeing the huge changes Maddie makes from the impact of being a mother to interacting with Harry and the Horsewomen. A tenderness and vulnerability that only Emilia has been privy to continues to emerge and she starts to open up to some others. There is also a central love triangle and working that triangle out is both painful and beautiful. I absolutely love how the story continues in the battle with Michael and the archangels to prevent the end of the world. Seeking assistance from Wrath to protect the key and prevent the last seal from being broken, Seph ends up with more than she bargained for with a couple of tag-alongs. Seph has her own demons to battle in deciding the overall course of action the ladies need to take in their battle and if she can ask for the help she needs from the person who can really while not ending up a Cerberus snack. I really couldn’t put this book down until I finished it and to be honest, I’ve got it loaded up to read it again because it is so good. From the interactions, growth, and dynamics of the characters to the battle for the fate of the world, Dallas has delivered on all fronts! As always in the lives of the Sins and Horsewomen, they make time for their pleasure and the scenes are off the charts HOT. Do yourself a favor and pick this up!

I don’t even know where to begin. I have read almost all of TJ‘s material. Every time I read something new she somehow surprises me even more. Her writing is just out of this world. Her story telling the plot the thought behind the characters and their emotions and the fact that her characters are forever evolving is just mind blowing. this book had me heart wrenching, had me angry ,had me laughing out loud literally and had me falling in love. Amazing read all the way around no bad things to say.

First off, If you haven't read The Pride Trilogy and Prewrath & Rapture, I highly recommend it. Throw in A Shot of AbSINthe if you have time. You won't regret it.

I was so excited to finally get to read the next chapter in the Wrath series and it does not disappoint. In addition to the already rich lore created by TJ Dallas this book is full of epic battles, character growth, a love triangle, and some very hot and beautiful sex scenes.
It took me through the whole gamut of emotions and I can't wait for the third part of this series.

Once again Tj Dallas has knocked it out of the park. She writes thigh clenching erotica, smart character interactions and intense battle scenes better than anyone else in wlw fiction. We're along for the ride with 3 of the Deadly Sins and the Four Horsewomen battling for all humankind against The Archangels heralding the armageddon. I'm not going to post any spoilers, you can read the book for yourself and discover the hot magic she weaves so well. I highly recommend this book, turning it all the way up to 11.

A brilliant and epic story. A masterpiece undoubtedly

I love the Wrath trilogy, I was expecting eagerly this second book, I had high expectations and didn't disappoint.

This book is so extraordinary in so many ways that I am having a hard time even writing this review because I don’t think I can find the words to do it justice, but I will try for sure. I wish I was more of a writer because this book deserves a more eloquent review. I completely recommend it and hope that other readers find the same joy in it that I found.

I love the perfect balance between the plot, character development and the sexy scenes. It is undoubtedly erotica with essence. And since it's erotica there's sex, loads of it, but wonderfully written, and I don't know how TJ does it, but keeps it fresh and never repetitive.
These books should be turned into movies.

I loved this book! It had adventure, intrigue, romance, and awesome characters. The storyline moved along flawlessly and kept me completely involved. Great world-building. This is a great story, I felt like I was in the middle of the action. The characters were well-written and the plot was beyond engaging.

The character development is excellent, fascinating and the storyline was exciting and intriguing, flows from the pages and right into your heart. It had all the elements of a great and epic story. I love the strong female characters and I loved it.

The book’s outstanding writing deserves everyone’s attention. It will impress you. And one thing that I didn’t expect but appreciate very much, is how it shows that no matter our lot in life we all want to be loved, respected and accepted for who we are, also, that we all have gifts to share with the world.

Love is so strong that even war weakens in its presence. Now I have a lot of empathy for envy, I can tell I like Madison a lot, excellent job there TJ.

There are so many things in this book I didn't expect, but I loved. The only thing is I still don't know how to feel about, is that I didn't expect Maddy to be such a damsel in distress, but works for the story.

This is one of those books that are so good, that you want to devour it, but take your time as well, because you don't want it to end. And after you finish you need time, because it's impossible to back to the mundane life after a book like this.

When I finished this book, I had to pause and reflect on the amazingness of the story. Wow just Wow. I have never read a book like this before. I even asked myself, what did I just read? Lol, that was beyond my imagination. I enjoyed this story so much. I’m speechless. The way this story was told was so original. I’m sure you do not want to put it down, not even for a minute.

You can tell this is a truly amazing and epic story, that it is capable of invoking emotion well after the last chapter is finished. A tremendous amount of talent and skill went into writing this story. It is definitely at the top of my favourites in this genre.

Wow TJ, what a way to end a book. Great job. I am looking forward to the next adventure with these beloved characters. I need book three ASAP.

Kudos Ms Dallas, this is your best so far, outstanding.

I highly recommend this epic book.

Hot Damn! I didn't think the books could get better, but they do. This was everything I never knew I wanted but it couldn't be more right. While Harry has always been amazing, Emilia has been at the top of my favorite list from the beginning, and this series is knocking it out of the park.

This story picks up after the first book, Prewarth, with Emilia spending time with her family before War comes asking for help. Harry and Madison decides to join Emilia in helping the Horsewomen to stop the impending Apocalypse. I love that Madison was a major part of this story. The one small grip I had about the first book, was the lack of Madison. So to have her have her own chapters was great. It was wonderful seeing her transformation and her thought process. She has changed a lot since the last time her POV was present in The Bartenders Pride, and being able to see that was amazing.

As always, this is an erotica and the sex is still sensual and sexy. I love the different pairings and new interactions. I really hope there are some short stories, like the ones in A Shot of Absinthe, for times during/after this book.

The ending was amazing and took my breath away. I read this book in one day, I couldn't stop myself. I cannot wait for the next book! It cannot come soon enough!

Highly recommend this book but it needs to be read in order, which includes the Pride Trilogy. The connection and relationships between the Sins is very heartwarming and adds so much to the stories.

I'm in love with War!
Emilia clearly got competition.
In the first part of this trilogy it was already clear that Wrath and War would be just amazing together and it was extraordinary!
I can't say much more here, otherwise I spoil too much for those who still want to read it.
This part of the trilogy focuses not only on the fight but also on the possible and also quite difficult relationship between Wrath, War and Envy !!
A constellation that seems impossible ... or maybe not?!
Back with the Horsewomen, Emilia, Madison and Harry experience fear, agony and despair together with the Horsewomen.
They have to face an impossible situation because they don't know what to expect, so preparing for it is really difficult.
In addition there is incredible jealousy, unbearable torments of lust and love.
Needless to say that all, really ALL hot scenes blow you away.
I love how diverse TJ Dallas writes these scenes and how wonderfully everything is described in detail.
An unbelievable great sequel and I can’t wait for the third part!

TJ Dallas is simply a brilliant author! After having read the books in Pride series and completing 2 books from the Wrath series, I can confidently say that TJ can make anyone turn into a puddle with her titillating writing skills.

With book 2 in Wrath series, TJ has delivered a perfect combination of erotica, romance, passion, action and adventure backed up with a meaningful storyline yet again. For me, there was never ever a dull moment while reading this book. Once I started reading, I simply got lost in the intricately built world of TJ's imagination and lost complete track of time. She is a superb story writer with an amazing sense of character building. Emilia is my favorite character in this series. She's totally a hot badass butch, which is befitting her Wrath character.

This book left me wanting for more and I just can't wait to read the next book by TJ! I highly recommend the books of Wrath series for those who love passion and adventure!

I happen to think that everything that TJ Dallas is awesome but each book gets better and better. This addition to the series is just that, wicked awesome! Combining the Sins with the Horsewomen is great. The world that this story takes place in well developed so that you not only get a well defined plot with incredible erotic storytelling.
I highly recommend this addition to the series of the Wrath Trilogy, although I would recommend starting with the first book and The Pride Trilogy as well. I definitely think this book deserves 5🌟 as well as 5🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥. I’m looking forward to book 📕 3 in the trilogy.

A medieval romp through love and war

This story follows TJs style wonderfully, her quota of orgasm to drama remaining beautifully high, as ever. Our favourite cast of characters expand with the most unlikely relationships blossoming as the world falls.

We discover more about Death, notably how she's as kinky as Envy, but more importantly how love can strike in the most unlikely circumstances and relationships.

With the exception of being hot as, this story won't go where you expect with more twists and turns than a Caledonian mountain pass in a blizzard. However those twists and turns are navigated with Passion and most importantly love.

I blame this book, single-handedly, for global warming because of all the readers out melting icebergs at this moment... a cold shower just won't cut it. I must have said to my friend over 15 times- how does this writer write sex scenes without ever repeating herself!?!? I mean, you can only orgasm in so many ways but every time I thought that whips, threesomes, Jo, butch on butch, and the 60 other steamy scene settings fell from a chapter. 5 books into this bloody series and I'm still shocked by how wonderfully written the sex is. Give a girl a break! But don't- bc that would make me sad lol. I cannot wait for the next book. I already miss the ladies.

The Book of Revelation for Sapphics

A terrified little girl used to sit through countless Southern Baptist sermons about the Book of Revelation and her only thought was I don't want to go to Hell because I think about kissing girls. If that same little girl could only know that some 30 years later she'd be reading a Sapphic series about the Seven Deadly Sins, let's just say it'd have saved her from countless sleepless nights, OCD, panic attacks, and the list goes on.
I will say it again, TJ Dallas can write. I finished Book 2 in the Wrath Trilogy and all I want to do is read about what happens next.
Five Stars because these books mean so much and are so damn good.

Absolutely loved the latest installment of the Wrath trilogy. Full of action and hot sex. We have the four horsewomen returning, along with Emilia, but bonus Madison and Harry are along for the ride. And we finally get a deeper look into Madison and what makes her tick. But also War. Fun story to read, can’t wait for the next book. IMO you should read the books in order, but please read book one of the Wrath trilogy before this one at least. Thank TJ Dallas, looking forward to next book.

WOWSERS!!! Book 2 in the Wrath series is smokin HOT! The plot and the angst were perfect. Harry, Emilia, and Madison come together with the four horsemen to try and stop the apocalypse. While doing so there is
A LOT of tension that needs to be relieved because let’s face it saving the world can be stressful! Don’t miss out on this erotic tale and if you do NO beer for you!

I was the editor for this erotica fantasy adventure series that relates a very different version of stopping Armageddon.

The next step in Armageddon is happening and Harry and several other Sins join Emilia when she returns to Caledonia to stop the final trumpets from sounding the end of Humanity. Excellent and credible scenes of war-planning and scorching hot sex between the Horsewomen and the Sins.
