This is CHILD PORN. Do not support. All sexual interests are minor children being groomed by men who are fathers or father figures. Glorification of child abuse, child sexual assault/rape and incest relationships later doused with half hearted attempts at moral redemption. This is a hard fucking no.
This was so many kinds of messed up and very sad but surprisingly good?? Idk how to feel about it, I read it, it’s over, lets not mention it from here on out🙂✌🏻
I loved this duology. It is Taboo so if that Isn't your thing then I wouldn't read it. But if you like Daddy kink I 100% recommend these books. It is The Wild and The Free. It's just a collectors edition. I have nothing bad to say about these books.
Okay there will be triggering quotes in here so please read at your own will (this is my warning) so I blindly went into this book and boy do I regret that decision. To sum up the first book the dad and daughter end up shacking up in the fucking wilderness. She’s 16 and he’s in his late 40s (GAGGGGGGGGG 🤮) This book was straight incest, oh wait but the turn around was “HAHAHAA but we’re not blood and I actually adopted you” plot the entire book. I can’t make this fucking shit up! I was more disturbed that a grown ass woman wrote this? Why…. Why would you ever fantasize about this????
Then I was hoping the second book got a tad bit better but lmao it fucking did NOT! This guy is 39 and the girl is 16 (he started lusting over her when she was fucking 13) 🤢🥴
IM CALLING THE FUCKING COPS NOWWWW! Read this book at your own risk. It’s straight child porn, rape, creep older men being pedo’s and little on plot so YEAH. Fucking enjoy sickos!
SOME CRINGE QUOTES FOR YA:
"Lie down, Daddy," "Mommy wants to do the driving."
“I tear my eyes from her and rush over to my dresser. I did not just get a semi looking at a teenager's tits. With a growl, I yank it open and locate a pair of loose boxers to sleep in.”
“While we fuck like father and daughter shouldn't but do, we watch the damn incest book burn to dust.”
“"Do you love me like you loved Mom?" I ask, my voice but a whisper.”
“"She's only what twelve? Thirteen?" "Something like that, but you know how it is out here in the wild.”
“I love how responsive she is”

I originally left a short review because honestly I don’t think booktok could handle more, the mentality there around different kinks is already questionable and I didn’t feel like arguing
But then I stumbled across Joe Santagato’s podcast with a pedophile (I honestly recommend everyone to go see it) and I realised that people like that should never be normalised nonetheless romanticised
This isn’t just taboo or dark romance, let’s call it what it is, incest, pedophilia and abuse, romanticising a father having a sexual relationship with his underage daughter is not edgy it’s not brave it’s not open minded it’s a crime it’s also a mental illness to look at that dynamic and dress it up as love and if you genuinely think this is okay you need to be locked up and get help, not applauded for being fearless
The author tries to rebrand it with disclaimers like only for the open minded and the brave as if being disgusted by incest makes you weak, that’s not clever that’s manipulation and guilt, tripping readers into thinking their revulsion and disgust means they’re boring instead of recognizing it for what it is, a healthy human reaction to abuse being romanticised
And what terrifies me even more is seeing older people, some of them parents themselves writing and publishing or proudly consuming this as if it’s deep art, how can anyone with children write a story about a father grooming his daughter and then try to convince readers it’s a love story, that’s not bold it’s horrifying
Fiction can explore dark subjects but there’s a difference between exposing abuse and glorifying it as romance, this book doesn’t blur that line it completely obliterates it
If you think you’re cool enough or brave enough to read this without flinching ask yourself why you need to prove that by stomaching incest and child abuse dressed up as a love story, being disgusted isn’t weakness, it’s sanity
This isn’t art this isn’t love this is abuse romanticized and weaponized and everyone who cheers it on is complicit in normalising something that should never ever be normalised.
This is a pedophile book about a daughter and dad. Do not order based on tik tok hype.
Disgusting.
Take note of who marks this a 5 star and keep them away from your kids.
**I did not read but I did review quotes from the book and reviews and do not want this banned book secret spicy trend making this disgusting book money***
Oh my fudging god what a ride!!!!! 😱 it is but isn't what you expect or what you ever expected from the beginning.. there are a lot of taboo subjects as well as triggers for some but by god it is a masterpiece!
Taboo af 😅 Honestly, I liked free more than wild. I'm not sure if the writing style is really for me, but I'd definitely read more books from this author because I loooove taboo and maybe these stories just weren't my thing.
Listen, if you liked this book, you need to have a really long sit down with a professional. I have read so much smut that it rots my brain. And I have NEVER read one that physically made me recoil to an extent that I couldn’t continue reading. I LOVED Credence- that’s tip toeing on incest. Love a good stalking romance, love some CNC. Love the morally gray. I have a high threshold for things that most would say aren’t okay. I got as far into this book as I possibly could before I had to set it down and never look at it again. I wish I could scrub my brain to forget about it.
This book is not morally gray, it is disgusting and disturbed.
*spoilers*
Long story short, a BIOLOGICAL daughter and her dad end up in a romance together. He is screwing his BLOOD RELATED daughter, the child he raised, after they get into an accident and the mom dies and they have to survive out in the wilderness. The dialogue is insane, he calls her the creepiest pet names I’ve ever heard, it made my skin crawl. And he gets her pregnant. And then it just devolves from there.
So if for some reason you enjoy reading about SA from a father to his daughter and a girl who becomes brainwashed into thinking her dad is her soulmate and they have incestuous spawn together, then by all means! Otherwise, I suggest you steer clear.
There is so much smut to read, please leave this alone. It’s really icky.

I just read ‘Daddy Reed’, the freebie offered at the author’s newsletter. The story is set many years and many children later in the lives of Devon and Reed. The newsletter mentions the upcoming third book in this series, ‘The Untamed’, and please, let it be about one or more of their older sons. They are over eighteen and hot af. The oldest, Rowdy, moved to the town and later came back, disillusioned. I was curious about what happened. Reed and Devon have raised their children very well in such an isolated and untamed part of Alaska. They have some friends and the town is not too far, but they prefer to have their home life private. The story gets into details about the homestead lifestyle, but is really all about the SEX. My gosh! K Webster is the queen of writing dirty marital sex. It was so good because of the love between this couple. Their love is so deep and true. It was really enjoyable to read and Reed is as gone over Devon as he was in ‘The Wild.’ The children were good characters, too. Each older son and daughter having their own personality and the drama in the story revolves around them. When this author writes at the top of their form they can do no wrong. Very glad that I got to read this. Looking forward to more!
DNF so I did not add any dates read I seen a lot of criticism and controversy surrounding this book but as always I take that with a grain of salt and read for myself well this is one of those books that I wish I never read. DISAPPOINTED & DISGUSTED I believe with my whole heart that everyone should be able to write whatever they want but it’s also my right as a reader to highly suggest to someone not to read it. I’m sorry but no matter how the author tried to romanticize this let’s call it what it is Rape! As a parent reading this I just couldn’t get though this book without feeling vomit build up in the back of my throat. I won’t be reading anything from this author
to anyone who read this book and enjoyed it got off on it you are DISGUSTING! instead of spending all your days reading sick porn actually look into the effects porn has especially incest pedophilic porn. you are sickening and disgusting
It’s definitely a taboo romance. I was so thrilled when I found out it was banned on Amazon, so I ordered it right away!
What can I say after reading it? It wasn’t a masterpiece or the best mature writing, but I couldn’t put it down. It was interesting to read, and some moments took my breath away—I had to pause for a moment to process them. But overall, it’s not that dark, especially compared to Hills of Shivers and Shadows.
Yeah, there’s siblings fucking, yeah, there’s an age gap… Eve has big fucking trauma, and that’s it. There’s no beautiful wilderness description like in Credence or soul-deep feelings wonderfully described like in June First, where you really stop and think, "Why not?"
TRIGGER WARNING!!!! Taboo romance. By the end of the book, the "taboo" wears off to the point it's boring. You might enjoy it if you like spice on every third page and can ignore the taboo. Just not my cup of tea.
Yeaaah I’m not going to finish this. 150 pages in and it’s not getting any better and I rather not stick around to find out. The plot makes no sense, it’s horribly written, and it’s just dumb and gross. Even the worst fan fiction I’ve read is 100x better than this.
I'm not saying this isn't taboo, but it definitely wasn't... as shocking as I thought it was going to be? Or maybe I'm desensitized. Anyway! Definitely liked the second couple more than the first, and definitely found both equally as bonkers. It's a wild ride.
Well- Of course someone from Tik Tok recommended this book and said it had a bunch of trigger warnings and Taboo subjects. I go in blind so I didn’t know what I was walking into. If you like sexual scenes every three pages this is the book for you but first you have to move past laws being broken for the sake of “love.” With that being said I enjoyed her writing style and will most likely explore her other books. Very easy read. I was able to get through it because I have very few boundaries when when it comes to “Taboo” subjects. The author requested no spoilers in the review so there’s not much I can add without giving away the plot of both these books. I’ll respect that request. Happy reading.
This book is not for everyone, it is extreme taboo. The author notes this in the warning page. However, if you’re like me and you enjoy taboo books and are intrigued and open minded then definitely give this book a shot. Wild & Free are two books in one.
There is spice, there is suspense, there is sadness and even what feels like betrayal between these two books. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time.
*The Wild* Reed decides to take his family out into the wilderness due to the fact of him and his family not being able to cope with their current reality. In hopes of making a new life that didn’t involve people, heartache, or technology. However, the wild being what it is it is untamed and harsh, it can be both brutal and unforgiving. There is no escaping the truths that are unable to be let go. It’s confusing, it’s wrong, it’s twisted, beautiful and sick. The wild is love and it’s going to be set free!
*The Free* Atticus the man in which Reed bought his land from has always kept an eye on Eve, a young girl all alone with death on her doorstep. Atticus is strong, brave, caring and stubborn. Plans I’d healing eve and letting her go was the original plan. When the wild is set free anything can happen. When freeing the wild it comes with grave consequences. The love is forbidden, immoral. Perverse and vile. Love is wild, so why not let it be set free?
Again this book is not for the faint of heart. It is taboo, it is dark, it is twisted. This makes the book amazing but it also has to be for an individual who can stomach it. This book is definitely a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. However, can we get a third book already??? Cause i need to know what happens!?!

3⭐️ The authors writing is good. There are a few coincidences that were quite hard to believe and overlook. There was a smooth flow to the writing and action that kept me interested in the storyline.
The characters were definitely morally questionable 🤨 or just immoral…. All in the warnings the author gives- so, my rating is based on the writing and story and not on how uncomfortable it made me 😣
I think part 1 was better than part 2 of the book. I just really had a hard time with all the coincidences and just far fetched situations. It was a bit too much for me to find believable.
Yeah, please don’t read this book unless you love sm*t and I don’t shame you in any way but I was tricked into reading it by people saying it was disturbing/prohibited etc and I kind of expected Horror or some social critique of some sort. This is not it. Trust me.
If you do like sm*t please still mind the trigger warnings.
this book contains 2 stories, The Wild is the first and the second is The Free. i will not be reading The Free.
this was truly so so so bad, idk how it has as many people who like it as it does. this is simply a taboo book with nothing else to it. the plot? not there. the characters? flat, boring, uninspired, pointless. the writing style? bad, bland, simplistic.
***SPOILERS, FOR THOSE WHO DONT WANT TO GO IN BLIND***
Devon, the FMC is the daughter to Reed and her mom (i literally forget her name) and is a recent only child after losing her brother to a deadly snake bite. the mom is in a deep depression after losing her son and Reed decides to liquidate everything they own, buy property in the middle of nowhere, packs Devon and his wife into an RV and drive out to start life anew in the woods.
then shit gets weird and we discover that Reed has sex with his wife even though she's a vacant dead fish in bed (essentially he's sexually assaulting her) and Devon hears them having sex and touches herself. Reed walks in on her and things spiral out of control from there.
Reed drives the RV off a cliff, killing his wife and leaving him and Devon stranded in the wilderness alone where they decide to "give into temptations", that seem to come on COMPLETELY out of left field, and begin a weird incestuous relationship built off a power imbalance and the fact that Devon is a literal child who has never had any other physical relationship in her entire life.
Devon gets KNOCKED UP BY HER FATHER and then, after multiple chapters of nothing but disgusting incest smut, we come a very anticlimactic conclusion that Devon is actually Reeds adoptive daughter. they live happily ever after in the woods, with their baby.
soooooo i guess we're led to believe that this is all okay??? sure alright.
anyway, if you liked this, cool for you i guess but this one was absolutely not for me. i was hoping it would be because people recommend this to people who love Credence by P Douglas but at least Douglas knows how to write well and give the taboo book a semi-decent plot.
i packed this back into its Amazon wrap and am returning it lol, i refuse to keep this on my shelf
