Definitely one of the best books i've read in a long time. Inspired by the love of a father from his two sons, Ronnie and Clint. Ron Howard is best remembered as Opie Taylor.On the andy griffith show. Clint, who was less remembered, becomes more well known by the reading of this book.

An honest and insightful portrayal of a "Hollywood family." Ron is a very good writer, and he and his younger brother, Clint, seem to have loved each other since Clint was born...when Ron was about 3.

My only problem is that this memoir is overly detailed and too long, mostly because I have a waiting stack of books! At page 100, Ron was just turning only eight. So I decided to skip over to the last 100 pages or so. As usual, Ron and Clint lives had become more complicated by then.

As I said, this is about a delightful and very loving family, and well worth the read.

I enjoyed this audio book - hearing both brothers alternately share their life stories and the ins & outs of show biz along with paying great tribute to their parents.
I learned so much, the book felt genuine!
And YES I grew up watching everything they were in and love the filmmaker and producer Ron has poured his life work into for our entertainment and enjoyment!

Finally a story about a real and wholesome family in the entertainment business with real flaws. Very refreshing and enjoyable especially on audible as both brothers talk but sometimes difficult which brother is talking since their voices are similar

This isn't the type of book I read, but I'm glad I did. He lead a very interesting life and it was destine for him to do great things in the movie industry.
